  1. Swtor guild leader will transfer after the GM hasn't logged in for 30 days. This section is also suggestions, it seems like you should open a in-game ticket, although I doubt CS will be able to do much b/c your guild leader was inactive for over 30 days and lost GL. If the guild leader is going to be inactive for 30 days then that person can either choose to transfer guild leadership to a guild member that they trust, will be active, and transfer leadership back to the original guild leader when they come back. Otherwise if the GL doesn't trust anyone enough with this, then boot everyone except themselves and you don't have to worry about leadership changing. The 30 day is to make sure that guild leadership doesn't become inactive which is a great thing, being a member of an inactive guild that doesn't have active leadership is annoying.
  2. Again this is to not have dead-inactive guild leaders it's pretty simple and makes a ton of sense. Being in an inactive guild that you are a non-officer of and can't do anything to promote, invite new folks or even run a guild if you choose to just plain sucks. Having the dev team change something that actually works well is just silly, many other folks along with myself offered plenty of solutions that "you" don't want to even attempt or acknowledge. Clearly, this is a "you" thing where you want to be GM and not be active, so keep your guild and remove other folks it's pretty simple.
  3. It really isn't an issue, it prevents inactive GM's from not being around plain and simple. If a GM of the guild that they are in can't be subbed for whatever reason and they somehow don't have an officer or a non-officer person that they trust then yes they can remove folks for their inactive guild and keep it for themselves. Personally, if I was in a guild that the GM and other so-called officers were never around for whatever reason I would leave or hope that the GM boots my toons, then stay in a dead guild.
  4. Founder here, I'd enjoy receiving your credits and inventories if you are truly leaving!
  5. Increase rewards overal for daily and weekly pvp questl, have pvp gear come back which is purchasable via pvp comms. Allow low-level players to earn pvp comms, add in gear that low-level players can purchase for pvp. End the gambling RNG boxes for gear.
  6. That's not what this post is about, also you aren't the OP so everything I asked has merit. Stay on point please, you are welcome to make your own post about anything in swtor but hijacking a post that isn't your's is against code of conduct. The reason I'm asking the OP those questions is because I have a feeling that they really do not understand how conquest works at all.
  7. Until the OP mentions the following two things everything else is kinda hearsay. All OP mentioned was about Tech fragments and currently, in the live system - you get more than they suggested as well. 1. How many other folks in their guild actually do conquest? 2. Everyone including OP how many actually has a stronghold bonus of 150%? I along with the other 3-4 folks in my guild do ZERO GSF.
  8. The Guild system is great because it requires that the guild leader be active for the guild. Being in dead guilds isn't fun especially when the guild leader and other officers are totally MIA. Other games have it so basically, the guild leader can screw over active folks and be MIA for long periods of time. If it's a financial thing - again make someone that you trust guild leader for however long you can't play with the understanding that they will be active/subbed and give back guild leadership when you return. If you don't trust anyone with that then boot everyone except your toons and reinvite them down the road if you want.
  9. But guys the queue system, Reg WZ deserter debuff, and the Win only weekly is like the best thing since sliced bread right?!?
  10. OP never mentioned anything about GSF. Some activities do reward more conquest points for different activities. From OP's post though - I have some questions for them, how many folks are currently in your guild? Do you and your other guild members have the 150% stronghold bonus? Not having a 150% stronghold bonus is going to really make conquest harder for you and your guild. Currently, with conquest, you do NOT have to make the top 10 to get the guild rewards on Tuesday(s) all you have to do is have your guild hit the required points. Small - 500k, Medium - 2 million, Large - 5 million. By hitting the conquest marks you'll get this amount of fragments from the personal & guild reward conquest quest. Small - 400 fragments, Medium - 500 fragments, Large 600 fragments. My guild is a smaller guild we have 4 that are actively playing at least every other day. We hit a large yield every week, all of us have a 150% stronghold bonus. One player only plays 1 toon and makes over 1 million points every week - that person does random activities. Two of our other players play multiple lvl 75 doing multiple activities accounting for around 3.5 - 5 million points a week, another player does some random leveling (slow leveling!). For the main guild that wins the Small, Medium, Large yield the only extra thing they receive is a title for that planet as "Conquer of planet x" they get nothing else, the frag rewards are the same as long as your guild hits the minimum amount required (see above).
  11. For ranked arenas I fully agree, for normal ranked I do not agree. There are much better ways to deter afk'ers, and rage quitters than having a lock out that only infuriates most of the pvpers and does nothing to prevent folks from afk'ing in matches that are losses, maps they don't like, ext. PvP in general has no real incentives for folks to participate in it, since galactic command and rng gear boxes entered the gearing system of swtor 5.0 and beyond. Pre 5.0 folks received pvp comms and could buy actual pvp gear from a pvp vendor, just like pve folks could from a pve vendor. Folks could buy the pieces of gear they wanted, the armors, mods, enhancements, barrels, hilts that they wanted - gearing was way better than. Also pre 5.0 you had way less rage quitters, and afkers than you do currently.
  12. Yes as the two above posters mentioned the only thing that the top winning guild is getting is titles. Once your guild hits the cap for small, medium, or large yield - everyone in your guild that hit their personal conquest gets those rewards. The only thing your guild would miss out on for not being the number 1 guild would be titles that's it.
  13. I'm finding it hard to believe that hitting the guild cap is really that hard? Do you and everyone else in your guild use the 150% stronghold bonus, because if you all did this isn't the case. I have multiple lvl 75 toons it's not hard to hit cap on any toons yet alone for the smaller guild I'm in to hit the large yield every week and that's with only 4 active folks only.
  14. If you don't trust anyone else in your small guild to run it and pass back gm when you're back, maybe boot them and just have your toons in the guild, then problem solved.
  15. Yes, it was a goop post > https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=992476 Bioware since you implemented the debuff for leaving wz's, dc'ing from that or purposely leaving them, why haven't you added the ability for us to see our group prior to accepting the queue as you do from Group finder in PvE?
  16. It's pretty funny how Bioware doesn't learn from past mistakes. Originally the PVP weekly counted both wins & losses they then changed it back in 2013 to wins alone. PvP'ers complained - a majority that it wasn't a good idea, there were around 1-2 folks that would oppose and say they loved it - however most of their post seem trollish in nature. Anyways the point is yall did this already and it didn't work so you put the PVP reg weekly back to its 10 wins / 20 losses for the weekly, and yet you repeat history again as it will actually fix something? https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=656565&highlight=pvp+weekly
  17. Performance base would be great they would have to change a lot though to make it work but it's a neat idea. Question for you how many hours a day do you play this game, how many days a week?
  18. Bioware has reverted or made things better many times. Take conquest for an example pre 5.0 it was super easy to hit conquest on multiple toons. Then for some reason, BioWare decided in 5.0 that conquest should be hard and take forever to hit on one toon let alone multiple alts. Bring about 6.0 and look at where conquest is now it's easier than it was 4.0 and prior. Yes Bioware can simply add back in the 20 losses to the weekly that they removed, or if they are really interested in fixing issues in reg pvp warzones maybe they should actually listen to their pvp players and not make silly changes that do not fix the issues.
  19. The weekly veteran flashpoints quest is missing a couple of veteran FP in its list: Kaon Under Siege Lost Island Both of these dungeons are on the Filter for Vet FP's in the activity finder. However, both of these are on the Weekly MM Flashpoints quest and also in the filter for MM FP's activity finder. Here are some screenshots for you. Vet FP weekly quest: https://ibb.co/hBpKPyL Vet FP filter in activity finder: https://ibb.co/Yd47dBb MM FP weekly quest: https://ibb.co/54dGvrp MM FP filter in activity finder: https://ibb.co/yqYbRzk **Please add those two to the list this way folks that are doing random veteran fp's aren't getting punished for having to run those two dungeons and not get credit for the weekly quest. Otherwise please remove them from the Vet FP list.
  20. If bioware is going to live and die by this new weekly of wins only then they need to add more incentive for folks to actually participate in a losing pvp match. If the whole bad change on Bioware's part is to deter afkers and folks leaving matches - hence the lock out and wins only. Maybe scrap that and go to something that accounts for medals earned - as afk players won't have medals or enough of them to qualify for receiving credit toward the weekly and pvp rewards. It def could be implemented it would take some work but with other input from pvpers I think it would work way better than having a lock out and winning only for actually receiving something from pvping.
  21. I think the way they have conquest now is better than it was in 4.0 and def way better than the way they changed it back in 5.0. A small guild (4 active folks) can easily hit the large-cap for weekly conquest. The guild I'm in is small and we hit the large-cap in 2 days. Make sure you and your other guildies have your own 150% stronghold boost.
  22. bioware may think that by not having win's it's the best way to deter afk however it's not. I see more afking now then I ever did when the weekly was 10wins/20losses. Sadly the devs are out of touch when it comes to pvp they always have been and always will be. Honestly, the removal of losses in the weekly makes it so there is no point to even try at all b/c for pvp losses you really get nothing compared to when you win the match. I've asked plenty of folks in 100's of pvp matches and the majority when they are losing just afk and stop trying so that's what bioware got for their change of the reg pvp weekly quest.
  23. You bring up some great points Trixxie, I agree with a lot of what you posted. Some things I would add, or maybe suggest a different way based on some great feedback from others, posted above. **Good stuff overall. Here's hoping that swtor devs actually see this!
  24. Some interesting ideas. However, why not just revert the weekly the way it was. They still have the 10 wins the part, just add back the 20 losses part as counting to the weekly. The removal of 20 losses to the 10 wins weekly doesn't do what the devs intended it's a complete failure on their part, change it back plz.
  25. Speaking from a guild that did alot of 8v8 ranked it was a fun time. Swtor actually had something nice in ranked 8v8 the main problem with them was that some guilds would stop doing them when they got beaten once or twice, instead of figuring out how to get better. The main problem with them was fact there was no cross server queue and we had like a billion servers b/c some wise "karen" thought swtor needed like a billion of them. Swtor should of just had 1 hug mega server for US/Canada, One for England/French/ ext Europe, 1 for Mexico/SA, and 1 for Aussies, or just made cross servers possible. The matches were a blast though, there were many different strats for different warzones, also you could switch specs back then so imagine voidstar being dps/ then swapping to skank tank for def round ext. It was all in all some of the best times that I had along with many of my guild - KFT!
