I had a similar issue. I got rid of bitraider and tried again a few hrs later and the update went through, but then the game kept crashing to desktop. I finally uninstalled and reinstalled the game (took about 3 hrs) and was able to log in and play with no issues after that.

I reinstalled the game and now everything is working fine and i can access all characters. Thanks for the help everyone!

I ended up reinstalling the game, and deleted bitraider and its affiliated folders. The game is still downloading, but i was able to login and play a low level toon on a starter planet while the game continues to download. I'll report back once game finishes downloading completely. Thanks for all the help!

I updated my computer and was able to download patch but when i press play, the game opens to the KOTET loading screen then immediately crashes to desktop saying "program encountered internal error C5, unable to load game assets.

Yes! Except i'm stuck at 56%. I've had issues like this before after a patch and they would release a patch fix and then it would clear up. I can play all other games fine so im thinking its got to be on their end.

I can't do the first step since the minute i login the game attempts to patch and gets stuck at the 56% installing part. I can't close the launcher either at this point, can only minimize it. I can't repair since it says needs to finish patching before having option to attempt repair. I tried deleting bitraider and relaunching but still get the same problem, being stuck at installing game client 229 at 56%. Would uninstalling help, or just end up at the same part again?

Launcher is stuck at updating client 229 at 56% and just doesn't move from that spot. I can play all other games just fine, and was playing SWTOR yesterday with no issues. I'm in NA and play on Harbinger. Anyone with similar issues or know how to fix?

I am having almost the exact same issue, except my client stops updating at 56% and doesn't move forward or backward after that point. No internet issues or difficulty playing any other games so i'm certain its an issue from the patch. Fix it soon please!

Yeah, not all explanations work for some of the force users seeming so weak. Easily understandable for the non force users, but even if we do suffer from carbonite poisoning, we still seem able to handle regular mobs and bosses like before, but get owned against certain npcs. I hope we get a good explanation or power boost later and not end up winning by some fluke event.

Yeah, and i'm afraid that they'll cause further need for explanations, especially if Arcann is more powerful, there has to be a rationale if we ever defeat him, and i hope its not some cop out reason like we defeat him after weakening him in some way, or something.

But are the people like Revan in another class that's leaps and bounds above our characters despite our characters being the best of the era? Revan couldn't beat the emperor, and if Revan's that far above us i really can't see how our characters have a chance against the kotfe portagonists, let alone the emperor.

I was wondering about our character's actual abilities. I just played to ch. 12 of kotfe with my JK, and felt weak compared to the new companions and enemies. I always assumed that our toons could solo the likes of Malgus and Revan by themselves, and that Revan and Malgus were added as bosses in a FP and Ops for the sake of mmo group content, and not that we actually needed 4 or more galactic heroes to join forces just to defeat them. If lore states that we did, then our toons, force users included, would be slightly above average at best in terms of power. Can anyone who watches the livestreams or spoken to the devs confirm this?

I second this, I still have my leftover white acute model but can't use it. please give us the option to use it and level like we did the hard way. I liked doing all the missions,dos, pvp and still not have gray quests as a result. please consider it

i thought jedi would always try to convert to lightside first and only kill as a last resort. once defeated, i thought the remaining sith may see that there can be another path in joining the jedi. just surprised the jedi slaughtered them is all.

yeah i always assumed certain cultures on different planets only used a first name or something. Like Revan and Yoda

Why was Revan so secretive about the Sith empire in the unknown regions? If he knew the empire was planning to invade anyway, why not at least tell some of his companions of the upcoming danger? Revan took off to face the sith emperor with only T7? Why not inform Carth, Canderous, and Bastila, companions who have authority with the Mandalorians, Republic and Jedi? The exile left her companions behind to find Revan, granted she may not have known Revan left to face the sith in the unknown regions, but why did neither of them bring a whole team of companions or something, Revan's team plus the exiles team should be enough to beat the emperor. Scourge wouldn't even be needed. thoughts?

Vader during ROTS couldn't beat Yoda imo. Had Vader never been injured at the end of ROTS he would have gone on to be stronger than Yoda and Sidious. Despite this, Vader did get stronger post Mustafar, roughly 80% of Sidious, though not as strong as his full potential would have allowed due to the injuries he obtained on Mustafar. Was Yoda equal to Sidious during ROTS, or was he slightly weaker, like 90% of Sidious?
