  1. I hear you OP, but in the spirit of community discussion, with a post like this you can expect to receive some counter-points. There is an inherent flaw in your decision to come back to SWTOR. First you state that you left because you hit max level, and given the lack of end-game and pvp, you were frustrated. This implies that the idea of leveling new characters wasn't appealling, but rather, you wanted end-game. Then you went to wow, which is known for quality end-game, but left because you didn't like the leveling. Now you're back to swtor, but you don't like the end-game and have implied that you don't want to level new characters. So I ask you, why? Honestly, the leveing in wow is surely boring to say the least. But that's the price of admission for their high-quality end-game. If you stick it out you would get what you want. After 4 years of WOW, I have been the biggest fanboi of swtor since its release. Now, given the raging community, the complete ease of acquiring gear, the heavily instanced corridor-style world, the seemingly low population and lack of LFG tools, I miss wow. Yesterday I cancelled my swtor sub, and unless there is a meaningful patch before my time runs out in 20 days, I'm going back to wow as I wait for the next big thing. Good luck to you OP, I hope you find what you're looking for.
  2. Wait a minute doc, you're telling me you built a time machine out of a delorean?
  3. The fact that people didn't know KS generates threat really surprises me. Healing generates threat. KS is a heal. As for whether it's working as intended, I'd have to argue that it is, primarily due to the pro tip that I will provide you below, free of charge. Pro Tip: CHAFF FLARE
  4. Total fail. There is no heat dissipation at 0. Less bad, please
  5. For the love of god, Bioware, please read this post and do something about the rapid shot noise.
  6. I didn't see it either. So, how were we nerfed? Gotta be the surge rating thing that they're talking about, but if that's the case, aren't other classes also receiving the same nerf?
  7. Agree 100% with this post. Well articulated and SO true.
  8. Bump. IRL I could eat a lot and get fat, or exercise and lose weight. I'd like to change my body type.
  9. For the love of god, you're right, I'm a nooblet. I forgot that had I not chosen to take down the chancellor I could have killed Tormen. But dude, the chancellor tried to kill me, I had to kill him. So okay, I'll modify: I wanted to take down the chancellor AND kill Tormen. I might roll another BH just to kill Tormen.
  10. I made a hottie - body type 2. I wish they had the option of not showing the gear (as they do with the helm)...the gear kinda ruins it. That said, the modded Sith Warrior gear looks pretty sweet -- you win
  11. It really blows my mind that the class quest didn't end by giving the option of killing Darth Tormen. I wanted it SO badly.
  12. Agreed, sprint should persist through death. But wait, is there any place or any time when sprint can't be used? Would it be fair to say that pretty much everyone would want sprint up 100% of the time while playing the game? So why have sprint at all? Why not just increase the base running speed so we don't have to click a stupid button everytime we login or rez. It's retarded imo, unless of course there is a time or place where sprint can't be used, in which case, please educate me.
  13. Nice wall of text, Lars. Admittedly I had neither the time nor the interest to examine the entire wall, but hopefully BW is paying someone to care enough about what you have to say. Someone would need to be paid a lot to endure that, but BW has a decent budget. The one point I was able to extract from your wall of text is that the time of day that BW decides to patch bothers you. Rest assured, Lars, BW knows exactly what time of day and what day of week will impact the smallest number of players. Rest assured that they patch on the day and at the time of day that affects the least number of players. Indeed, the time during which they choose to patch is hardly unique to swtor. Please re-read the prior two sentences to ensure you understand. My advice, Lars, move to a different time zone or convince enough people to play in your timezone.
