  1. *chuckles* Yes, please!!!! Anyway: a shelf for something collectable, perhaps? Silly but... well,. it's collecting . A hangar to park and show at least some of your speeders A room for your pets to be placed in. All silly, useless, but somehow I'd think it fun ^^.
  2. *sighs* Ok, Eric, I certainly don't blame you, so: acrtually, thank you for the bravery of being the one who gave out the news. While I don't know where and how the difficulties suddenly arose in getting 500 CC to every subscriber, I hope your higher-ups know that this is really disappointing. I know a whole lot of people complained, but that's the nature of a) people and b) forums, and I really really really hope that whoever is in charge of these things does realise that. But I also think that in this case now, people are RIGHT to be disappointed: not getting the exact gift you expected is one thing. Having been told you'd get something and then have that promise just pulled back is... well, if it is in a personal relationship it would actually be hurtful, as it is, it is just really really disappointing and might pull a LOT of faith from the community. Just my 2 cents... perhaps you'll earn my faith back somehow, but for now, it's seriously gone. I have fun with the game, yes... but it just slipped higher up the list of things I might just drop in favour of something else.
  3. First, thanks for the feedback . But I join with those who'd ask you to reconsider. If you don't want to drop Mods, find some alternative: Crafting stuff that is actually useful, companion-gifts, credit-boxes, more comms, silly but technically sellable consumables (fireworks, one-use javagrams, something that makes sparkles, something that makes funny sounds... price those at a halfway-decent resale-price for the vendor, too, perhaps?). Seriously, if you ask around the community or even around the SWTOR-team, you are bound to find SOMETHING that's fun and won't break game-economy. Also, as others pointed out: if you can grab a whole lot of cash by killign random stuff, why not at least get us grab the roughly same amount by digging random stuff? There really has to be some middle-ground between the two extremes you had now.
  4. While I cannot find the post, I remember a mentioning of "something similar at the end of the month", yes... well, we shall see...
  5. LOL Thanks for THAT picture... I will never see Makeb with the same eyes again ^^
  6. I am not very happy about this either... the sellable stuff actually made it worth to start digging "just because" and have some fun. But the speeder-parts and the armor alone are not really enough incentive now. I LOVED having the seeker-droid return stuff I can use or sell, because it was something else to do without feeling like I just wasted the time because nothing intereted came from it anyway... Please, Developers, look into this... the new setup is great if you are after the special stuff specifically, but if you just want to dig around for fun, the Seeker Droid is a non-entity now.
  7. I am a little disappointed... http://www.swtor.com/info/news/news-article/20130705 stated some of the things to look forward too... did I read too much into it when thinking there would be more? Not wnating to sound entitled, it's nice that they celebrate the occasion at all, but... the article hinted at more? Anyway, my Sith can call herself Revan's Heir now, wich fits her PERFECTLY as she would call herself anything that sounds important, so this little title fits her perfectly ^^
  8. THANK you, this does indeed help a lot. I saw the archons, but didn't connect that to the fact that I had purchased revan .
  9. So, you do have the collections-entry? Hmmm... strange thing. I read somewhere that the Collection is sometimes lagging seriously, let's hope it is "only" that.
  10. I didn't mean he would! That wouldn't be betrayal, not at all. Just eric.. eric, I love your style ^^
  11. My thought exactly... that would just be eric
  12. I hope not, that one has been promised to subscribers for a LONG time.
  13. Also, even IF some developer or designer wrote the blog: what's so terrible about him or her taking a small timeout to write a few sentences for a blog? Chances are, afterwars he or she will work better because of a cleared head. There is a good reason many Software-developement companies have got play- and relaxation-rooms: People work better after using them. And for us,t hat means fewer bugs and better story
  14. Hello . 1) Thanks for a yellow statment here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=6341299#post6341299 2) Any chance you can also sticky this? I think a "We are aware of it and are looking into it" statement where it won't be pushed down the page might help .
  15. I know this is possibly futile, but please, someone official using these forums PLEASE get clearence to make some statement here. I kind of understand unhappiness with the speculations and how-to's on the suspected reasons being public here, but a) the community will be faster in discussing that you can be in deleting anyway, and b) I really really believe some statement beyond deletions would calm things down a lot... at least clarify what exactly it is you do not want us to talk about!
  16. I fully agree with OP... I can play the game fine on my System (not at maximum graphics, but I can live with that just fine), but my load-times are very noticable, and this jumping on shuttle, going to ship ----load-------, flying to next place, landing there ---load-----, walking through yet anotehr spacestation... it might be the realistic way people get from A to B, but it is terrible for game-flow. Forget about realism, realistically every single one of my characters should have been killed 1000 times and up, so just gove me bach the easy jumps ^^.
  17. I think that is actually the part of the point of the change: to secure changes like that, they moved to mail verification. No idea how they reached the conclusion to completely drop the security questions instead of linking security questions with login and send one time codes for more critical things; after all, I would consider BOTH ways only "I wish it was 2 way" (and the security question login PLUS one time code would probably secure the whole process more..?) - - - but then again, I know just enough about security to know a lot of experts know this stuff better than me ^^.
  18. For those who are annoyed with the one-time-PW for non-security-key users: The BlueStacks Android Emulator appears to be working with the security key . Having number-generating software on the computer on wich you are trying to protect your account kind of negates the use of the number, but it seems like a sensible workaround to me . (Note: I just installed it on BlueStacks and did not register the software-key with my account, but it launches just fine!)
  19. It could easily get worse: Let's say you typically have the weeklys in the list, some longterm-stuff, and perhaps one daily-list you started but want to finish later (A friend called while you where playing, and you decided to go eat some ice-cream instead of playing TOR or somethign like that ). Now, Makeb comes along... and fills the remaining space. We suddenly have lvl50-things PLUS the Makeb-Missions, wich might add up to 10 or such... the 25 can turn a problem much more quickly then.
  20. I suspect there would be one big issue: If the Servers run different versions, what version would your client be?
  21. I would say that's less EA/BW being silly than historical... Times are historically just calculated GMT +/- whatever the difference is, hence Greenwich MEAN time . Blame the British here for trying to colonize the world . Just the reason I tend to keep track of GMT: People I met intermnationally usually knew their GMT-difference, too, so we each know "when" the other is.
  22. Honestly, if it is so very simple, why are you worried about messing up on your end? Can't have it both way, Eric ^^. I, too, think it a lot easier to just check the CET-time instead of now having to do the conversion, especially with the mentioned Daylight Saving mess coming up. Anyway, no use ranting about my wish to give up dayligth saving time, but I DO wish to have my timezone-info back ^^. PS: By the way, thanks for at least keeping GMT in the list, I usually remember my GMT-difference...
