  1. I'm sorry, but what the hell did you do to the character sheet? It looks really good, but from a usability stand point, it's just a straight downgrade from what was there before.
  2. To be honest, in that spec, the points from Darkness should be taken out in favor of Chain Shock. No one can tell for sure which is better, but one thing I do know for sure, the extra burst and 2% damage reduction feels a lot better in my head than 6% damage on Voltanic and 9% Armor pen
  3. I've critted 4400 without redbuff, but that was on a lvl 15ish Sage, usually I'm around 3500ish without anything special. I think I'm 4 part champion with 2-3 part centurion rest os leveling gear, so my gear is nothing special.
  4. Just wait till you get Talos, you'll never have to rest ever again, it's a substantial dps loss, but considering the fact you'll never ever have to rest kinda makes up for it I think (at least psychologically)
  5. I ran by a priority of Companion Gear (for whichever one I was using) > Mods > Commendation > Whatever else When I was picking rewards from quests during leveling, never had any problems at all. I went with Khem'val to Andronikus to Talos, but looking back I'd probably have sticked to Khem untill Talos, or maybe even dragging the robot out, but I'm a bit doubtful on that one. Barely did any fp's or h2/4 quests, and I had 0 trouble leveling.
  6. I was around 2000 of Light V when I reached 50 and during my leveling there were several conversations where I had the option of getting DS points and not LS. So if you're Lightside it saves you a few instances (not many) and if you're Darkside I hardly think it matters.
  7. Spoilers obviously. You meet him pretty early on Tatooine and after talking to him a few times he will come help you with a common objective of yours, at that point he's a "guest" so you can't send him on Crew missions, as long as you're using him that doesn't make much difference. Haven't gotten much further so he's still a guest for me, and I don't know if you lose him for a bit (like JK do when they first meet their first companion)
  8. First of, welcome to the wonderful world of MMOs. One thing you need to consider when chosing talents is, what will you be using them for? If you're doing mainly PvE you will want to focus on talents that increases your sustained damage while players focusing on PvP will want huge amounts of burst and/or survivability. Talents like Static Charges and Electric Execution are good examples of sustained damage talents, on the other hand, while Deceptive Power does yield some extra damage, it's PURE burst, gives you x amount of damage every fight and Chainshock essentially gives your shock chance to double crit. Now, as I haven't studied our rotation well enough nor is there a combatlog available, no one can tell you anything is better than anything else, it's all preferences, but I would tell you, when trying to figure out how to spec, take the above into consideration.
  9. Yes, this is exactly my point, I really hate giving away root priviledges to anything that doesn't need it.
  10. 50/50 chance of getting it right, so why don't you try one if that fails try zero?
  11. No, it doesn't, it would need access if it was patching, I agree with that, but when running the game is up to date, all it does is add a security vulnerability.
