  1. I havent tested all aspects of the game yes, nor do I think I will with the current ping being the issue. I play from Norway, my lowest recorded ping is 320. I will often have it get close to 400, but just shy of it at 397. is the game playable in the storymode, yes, is it enjoyable - No, not at all. The lack of snappiness isnt really fun. To put it this way if this is a way for you to cut down on cost etc, I can get that from your perspective, but on the other would I keep a subscription if this is the service I would get - No. Would I stop playing the game - Yes. I cant imagine testing out pvp and spacecombat with this ping, as you got to have "snappiness" in pvp to react etc etc.

  3. I agree with stunlocks isnt a good solution. The issue with it though isnt as apperant if you had team vs teams, but most likely its 1 premade on 1 side vs pugs on other. Before the pugs mesh/gel, the premades have decimated the pugs so hard that the match is over. Thats most of the reason why you go from 32k to 0hp in 1 lock out. I would suggest to change how resolve works and your anti-cc 1. resolve should fill up faster 2. the duration of resolve should be longer. 3. anti-cc should make you immune to cc for x-seconds after you use it. 4. Ideally if you have been stunned(not slowed/rooted) you should get an immunty to it like the you have with grenades. meaning you cant be applied that state(stunned) again for x seconds. Just to throw in a bit of "wow" -> they're changing stuns in the next content to be more or less like I describe. Stunkills isnt a good mechanic for most of the players, there is small pool who enjoy that kind of gamestyle, and sadly the few is catered.
  4. The reason sort of why some wz gets "stuck" it seems is that the ratio isnt pure RNG. The devs have a "wz" of the day they want to push to get more rotation of maps. The issue is that there is 8 players on each side 16, and with total ques pr any given ist "fairly low" (on my server there is like 2-4 active 16 wz + a few 4*4(arena)(sometimes there is alot more active maps) Overall for simple mechanics there is like 32-50 ppl queing at the same time. So first map you are in you get the "dedicated" map, normally you would after this get a RNG map.. However since the pools is so small you get into a fresh wz, with 1-2 members on your team not had the map of the day or on the opposing team, thus you get that map again. this is simplifed, but most likely why you get same map over and over.
  5. its obvious they came to troll imo. But tbh I dont think they "came" they are just alts of other goons who's been d'bags since 4ever. The community for pvp in this server is minimal, funny how 4-6 ppl drop of the grid for abit, then a few days/weeks suddenly some new guild pops up with a silly/funny name and decimate the wz's. I just wish BW/EA would start cracking down on ppl who exploits, this could encourage random ppl to que up for wz. We desperately need a solo-non-ranked wz to revitalize the wz to get fresh blood. (my opinion and alot dont agree, 99% of the ones who dont want solo-non-ranked is the ppl who thrive on trashing random pugs 24/7)
  6. Yah, I'm not Asking them to change, just asking them to consider the options for they're format on low peak hrs(thats when I normally que). Dont get me wrong I mainly que on my Sith toon anyways, but the few times of late I've tried to get some matches in on my rep-toons its been "cluttered" with 4*2 premades takeing the spots in sequence mathces without me getting in 1.(given that 1 match is 5*2(arena) or the others is normally 10-15minutes thats fast 30 min of time I'll never get back. As I've said its more apperant on low intrest hrs. I posted after talking with a few random ppl who I noticed was standing around looking cool in the pvp area ************ about not getting pops either, just figured that it could be worth some attention to hopefully "fuel more casual/soloquers" to get in the lines. I would really love to see constant que pops on either side and anythign to stimulate its growth. Personally I'm mostly geared in brut gear on my sith so I've tried queing on my guardian to inject some more life into the rep side(fighting sith on sith gets abit stale) The concept of 3+1 is to "break the even numbers" to allow soloquers a leg in. if you'd go with 2+2 you still end up with soloquers not getting in. Ideally the wz cap could have gone up 1 to 9 since 7 is too low, but since thats not in our hands the only other way to "break it up" is to do it with 3. This issue isnt happening at all when queing sith, since the pool there is so much bigger, thus you get more 4 man arenas or other pops going on. This suggestion was just meant as an input/feedback in an effort to "revitalize" the republic side with more fresh blood (and if others experience the same as I've had well then you get bored fast and lock that part of the game out)(or re-roll sith:P) Again this is not an issue during peak hrs, but very early in the evening in the US-East coast time. Again its not a swipe at the mentioned guilds in the op, since they're in they're rights to que as they wanna. But I'll just pm them next time I think and ask for a leg in if I get stuck in the loop again cheers
  7. The overall point is that if you have 2 groups of 4 and th cap on the warzone is 8 you fill it with those 2 groups alone. So if you at low peak hrs maybe switch your format of queing to 3 it means that the 4th spot can still be your friend or just random joe. 3 is better than 2 + 2 because then that 4th spot will be filled with a soloquer and not another 2+2 group. This is not an issue with "superques", this is an issue of soloquers not getting into games at low peak hrs. Ideally this game would have had a xserver option but thats not an option(unless they re-code and that cost monies) Just abit "discouraging" to que solo atleast for me on rep side and being "locked" out. Again this isnt a banter at Republic or Core (I actually commend them for the queing) but just a consideration on the format they choose to que. I suppose next time I bang my head against the wall I'll just ask please if I can get rotated in to get dailes done Cheers
  8. While I get it rep-pvp at certain hrs is non-existent I'm not sure your method is helping insipire more either. The few times I've q'ed on my rep toon I never get a pop, while I see the same configs getting match after match. I see it quite apparent when fighting the rep side on my sith. 4 + 4. Usually its 4 Core + 4 Republic. With the current format of warzone being 8 and you can take a party of 4 friends into battle, what happends when 4 + 4 que is that it completly shuts out soloquers at those hours. This isnt your fault at all as players, but not ideal format/design choices by BW. That said maybe if you put a limit on yourself to que 3 and 3 instead of constant 4, maybe those 2 spare slots would be filled with random ppl who would then get addicted to the rush of pvp. while your effort at queing lately is commendable the approach may not be ideal, just tossing this idea out there. Again I'm not ************ about your actions, but the format you choose to go while within your rights, is not ideal to get a thriving pvp community for those who prefer the soloqueing option. (I know I could get 4 friends yatta yatta to group and get in on the action, but thats not my prefered style, and I do know a few others who also prefer the soloqueing option more over group(more chaos, less organized)
  9. On sunday over on Ebon Hawk (rp) it was only 8 totally queing at about 6-9pm servertime. What I did notice though was that the 8 ppl shifted on what team we ended up on, and in most cases to "even" out the progression on all. So even with that small a pool I think the game actually do have matchmakeing. Next time, you should take a note of the names of the other side. Do a search if they're in your 1300+ rank or if they're in the 1100 bracket. (From what I read you only looked up your teammates and not the opposition?) Still need alot of work on Arena tbh, so many of the games I end up seeing 3v4(either side so overall it evens out, but still frustrating)
  10. I think you dropped the ball abit on this when you added it. it should have been in the format as you did with non-ranked dailes/weekly. Some servers dont have a big enough population to support constant ques for one, and not enough ppl to add matchmakeing. To get 3 wins, you would at the very minimum need to win 3 pr day. 3 * 2*5 minutes = 30 minutes of time to play, which is not very long time. However on my server the quetimes to get a match is quite often 10-15 minutes * 3 = 30min. Suddenly i've spent 1hr of the day just to get the matches I need if I should win 3 in a row. add pain to insult with haveing uneven matching with 3v4, and you got an all dps team vs 3dps + 1 heal (and 1 dps tanking for the heal). People seeing who the opposition is and just leave is rampant, cause they know its a loss (this needs to be adressed some sort of penatly for sabotageing the ranked is needed(but thats another issue) Ideally the change would be similar to the non-ranked and changed to 3 wins or 6 played for daily and equal for the weekly 9 wins or 18 played. This would hopefully mean more people would join that aspect of the game aswell, and ques would be popping with some form of matchmakeing. really annoying haveing that last 3 wins for weekly on a sunday and knowing you cant log on 2morrow due to work hrs (vs que popping). the lack of que'es isnt the issue though as such, its the forced queing for excessive hrs to get in those win that is the issue. For me i'm just going to take the 9 wins for this week(when it finishes) and not que other weeks again, since I see no point on my server with the current system just too much time wasted in que'es waiting for the pop to get another 3v4 or pve-geared clowns who just que to troll.

You are trolling right? or you need to l2p as others stat in a cocky manner. 1. charge as you state, impale + shatter + forcescream(and its as good as a crit with those 2 up) 2. forcepush 3. forcecharge 4. ravage but before the last duration is done, forcechoke. This means that you have had 4 sec immune + 4 sec immune = 8 sec overall while you've been immune to cc's, then add the forcechoke that should give him 4 sec(if u got setbonus) or 3 sec otherwize, overall 12 sec he couldnt touch you. + this alone should have taken the hp of the operative to about 50% or so. I would think you have teammates that would assist you in trying to annhilate the guy aswell. Also in Quesh you should position yourself when you do forcepush so you push him down, or into acid so he either have to walk by your team again or get acid = dead. The ability you refer to is a lvl 51, so by that time you should have most of the tools to do my recipe atleast. Also keep in mind that if its a slippery guy, that uses the abily you wanna forceslow him, to halve his 12m to 6m. Sadly though there is some from my perspective lag issues in the map, so getting the recipe can be very tricky on its own, but if the operative is a "lagcheater" it can be virtually impossible.(but thats a reportable issue and not the ability on its own fault) Sorry if I came/come of more a ahat than intended, but it seems you're either rusty or need of a crashcourse of Vengance pvp. But its overall harder to stop some targets than others, and if you know you cant do it if you end up as the lone defender vs an operative that you seem to struggle, jump down and go for the ball on respawn.
  12. Shout-out to Pixel for awesome healing for being a dps in that arena we had. 4 dps vs 2 dps + 2 heals. That 2nd round we pulled it of 3v2 at the end there. one of the best matches I've had in a long time. the feedback from the other 2 that died was epic. Tears of joy taste the sweetest!

  14. To the OP poster I'm guessing this quest is for with the MacroBinocular quest. Where you have to find 3 watertowers on Tatooine. 1 of them is sadly imo misplaced inside the PVP area(it should be moved to a better location or flag the quest as "pvp") That said there is a workaround to this, a way to complete the quest without getting flagged. Here is how The outlaws den have 2 entrances 1 that is "from more republic" territory and the other 2. is from the sith side. What you want to do is to get to the entrance from the sith side of the map. There is a skeletonentrance(in lack of a better word to describe it) Now be very close to that side, and go as far in as till you get the warning "you will be flagged in 10 sec" and then take a step back or 2 so you will not see the message anymore. Now use your macrobinoculars(or your son) scan for the watertower, its slightly hard to see, but its above the "floor" level and abit up in the alltitude. Should you require assistance to find this, feel free to pm me on this site, and I can help you achive the quest if need be.(due to timezone etc we should work out something I can manage for you;) ) Cheers
  15. This post is only relevant to lvl 55. Atm pvp gear is only useful if you do worldpvp. inside arenas/wz it have no real use sadly. Just go buy blue lvl 4x gear from voss and be BIS (you will miss out on the armoring bonuses though, but alot of them is "crap" anyways) Ideally for the lvl 55 bracket this is what BW should do : 1. Give out all lvl 55 a recruit set that is marginally under conq(current t1 pvp), let it be tradein to buy conq for rec + comms(just regular wz comms) -> this will introduce new players to the grind and ensure they will "grind to get the gear") 2. implement a min 2018(current cap for expertise) as a minimum to que. This will make it so that all teams have people geared and no "tricks can be done" like the current setup(again refer to the blue gear where you will end up with almost 1k more hp, and 50-100 more power than in full oboeran. 3. remove bolster at 55 since its not needed anymore due to previous steps 1 & 2, bolster is then obsolete at 55. in response to "generic gear" that some have suggested thats not entirely possible, since some ppl will want to "mix" things up, if they play multiple roles or hybrids. Ideally they could go for another route. Have a "pvp option" where you had a certain amount you could twitch your "gear" around, in that setting, but your current gear woudlnt matter.
  16. Oh trust me I do use all that I can. Endure pain + stim for isntance aswell. and I've been know to bounce all over. I dont really care though about if its my paranoia or perception. I'll just roll with the punches and "know that when I'm faceing" certain pre-mades I'll be getting more attention than is deserved, and try to use it to my advantage as some have pointed out(and I have done already, just troll'em out from the doors and objectives and let teammembers cap, I've always been part of operation meatshield anyways let this post just die out from now on shall we, think I've gotten my point across to the ones I aimed for anyways or questions. I suppose Luddots while simple to the point post was the one that really answered my issue (althoug he never been bad to me or when he's doing premades, I've never felt that I'm tunnel-targeted)
  17. you guys still seem to not get that I dont object to getting focused like a sob when I percive it as needed, from an objective point + good way to win a match. its just that I find it amusing that well ehem te'quilla remember me getting rage towards one of your guildmembers a few weeks ago? Guess what thats when I started getting focused like a sob, so thats why I went online to see if there is "more to it" than just the regular tunneling that makes sense. We're talking about haveing me "guard a node" soon as I enter the "combat area if I get rotated into the fight" I will get focused 30m before I'm even in the fight (most logically only way they will see me approach is that I got a mark on my head) its just odd how excessive its been lately vs certain specific premades (either side) to be blunt "it cant get worse" than its been in the matches I've mentioned already, and no I dont mind "getting focused or dieing" thats very much part of the game, it was just that it was imo getting abit out of hand with the lengtsh ppl gone to ensure my demise (loose a game for it just dont seem logical for that one kill) The one thing that strikes me though is that the ppl posting in a "sarcastic or mocking" way is already the ppl or in guilds that do focus me, while the ppl who's offered more reflected insigth is the ppl who's game I get the normal share of love from. And dont you think I didnt know that it wouldnt directly help posting? of course I knew it would prolly put me on a few ppls radar even more, but as I've said "it cant get worse". so my solution is quite simple * stop soloqueing, go with a healer or other premade(while I prefer to soloque its not as viable anymore I suppose) * switch build abit (already done and it did help being more tanky and less squishy) * stop queing your daytime/low peak hrs and get in when there is a bigger pool. maybe start queing soloranked, since that eliminates the premades

Well I suppose this is more to the point and as others said, I know that if I'm not cc'ed I can be like miley cyrus sings a wrecking ball. and is prolly this more than my paranoia that is to blame for the "love I'm getting" Just that it gets abit frustrating. I'll prolly need to ***** more in ops-chat about getting a guard or heal when soloqueing(that I do 90% of the time)

Some ppl seem to think I'm asking to get a free reign or free cast (semantics) And its not complaining about tactial focusing thats fine. but its the amount on a non-healer, non-cloaking class with ****** teammates not assisting well. I have no issue with this when doing premade with guild, then I will get heals. I have in a few matches asked to get heals prior to start due to knowing this will be a focusfest. But soloqueing it gets abit old. its just that I find it excessive the last 3 weeks in particular where I'm takeing 2-4 times the dmg than anyone on my team. I'm quite used to being focused on my healer for instance I dont mind that at all, and I feel its more appropiate that 4 ppl or more or for that matter only 2 lock me out. but as a soloqueing 99% of the time it gets kind of annoying to get so much "love from some of the premades". if you look at the max dmg taken on our boards the highscores is 3x of what I take, but also look at those charters on dmg done + heals done in those games. We're talking the 1-2mill range games. As in pretty damn good premades going on. I'm just not totally sure in a regular CW I should take 500k dmg.. (and not get squat heals, cause there is barley any) and the few that do heal, do a decent enough (and I'm not talking about the times I'm with my friend or with random great healers like yolk or jackobie who is on the ball regardless) But we're talking about games where the highest dmg done on enemy side is 300k. 1 guy guarding + 2 heals = 3, that means we got about 5 ppl who generally will be able to dish out dmg right? For an example of the dmg done 5*500k = 2,5mil. /500k done to me right. if we say that there is 1 defense, and 7 potential target, that would be 2,5mil / 7 = 350k pr person. But in that game alone I took 500k. thats 150k more than "you'd average it out" and the closest dmg taken was 250k half the dmg that was done towards my toon. you start to see the pattern evolve? I'm not saying that ppl shouldnt attack me and blow me up, what I'm more asking for is the issue of ppl abandoing objectives just to kill me and in that way throw the game for they're team.(which I dont object to at all) Just that its so odd that there was a very very noticable change in the focusing in the last 3 weeks vs prior, where I would get the more normalized attention from all premades or pugs. Given that one particular guild did imply that I was going to see more focusing(cause of a pissingcontest) + another one shadow who was a total douche, that I did cause some "unwanted attention" in his guild(his actions was one that was frowned by the codex of the guild etc) So most likely its me thinking I'm getting more love than I deserve mixed with the "threats off getting it" that all.
  21. its not as much the dieing part. I've never minded that in any game, be it wow, or this one in pvp, thats part of the game. The issue I've been haveing is more that it started to be some for me patterns that is disturbing. I am calm. I'm just trying to figure out if its paranoia, or if there is something to it. We're talking about takeing 2-4 x times the dmg that any of the other in ops do. + haveing ppl chase me/meet me instead of sticking to doors to guard'em. I've also "changed" the approach in some cases with "lurking" in shadows behind the lines, but you will see ppl still dash for me, instead of the one in they're face blowing them up. As stated this isnt an issue at all if its pugs all the way, or in arena matches. But vs some of the premades on this server I'm just toast. Hint I have all classes with lvl 50's and several 55's aswell. if I'm my unknown-troll toon -> that is rage + decked out aswell and I would def put that high on the KOS list -> I barley get hurt for 100k dmgtaken in matches.

  23. well freecast isnt the issue, I'm a jugger. Example attacking voidstar round : But we're talking about me dieing in voidstar on left door, then I go to the right one. Then die, go back to the left and while enroute towards the door, prolly mid between the "pylons" and the obstacle/debris, boom 4+ ppl will focus. althoug the hatred works both ways I suppose there have been countless times where ppl have opted to not pay attention to the door and noticeing the operative that went to plant, and just focus on blowing me up, so I start backtracking and they're still none the wizer about the operative, and boom planted. Admittedly this is less of an issue during nite/peak hrs, when there is more pvp going on, but during daytime earlynite its really agonizeing to not even "enter the battles" and battle it out. I usually tend to switch to soresu when I notice I'm getting too much love, and starting to say something about it in ops chat, (this helps with healers keeping me up and me putting on a more tanking role instead)

Well this is kind of obvious why I dont want to put an even bigger bullseye on my head and I suppoe your correct, that its most likely a good idea to get the decked vengance(all min-maxed) out of the way first and not more than that. but its just that its "odd" that the real focus started after a few of the premade goon-squad ppl expressed "we can focus you more you know" after I had been in a pissingcontest that I won with'em.
  25. While I do acknowledge its good pvp-tactics to focus kill ppl, it may have started to get abit out of hand lately imo. I find it odd that every wz I go in I'm the top dmgtaken. Given that : * I'm not SMASH^ * I'm not a healer And we're talking about serious difference from the one closest. Example just did Ancient hypergate I took 450k dmg. Our mainheals took 340kdmg 2nd healer took 240k dmg. Rest of the team took about 100-150k dmg. The thing is that this isnt a isolated incident. Normally when I que I take 100-250k more dmg than any other teammate. So why do I take so much dmg? if the other side is pugs I tend to not take nearly as much dmg and are put in a more normalized place on the dmg charter. and the numbers are in so its not just "my paranoia" this have been a constant factor for weeks now. I wouldnt think it bother me as much if I was queing with a healer, but since I prefer to soloque, and getting the attention of most any 4man premade I've come up against in wz after wz, its getting abit old. Most pug healers arent aware of my need for "special" priority on the healing, so before they figure it out, I'm getting focused by 4-7 ppl at times instant. I've seen this in various wz, soon as I get in I'm getting focused even if I had come back from rez, and try to "be in the back of the fight" (I'm thinking I'm actually marked) I do know I'm quite vocal an have pissed of most of the premades ingame and what not, but this is getting to be bit excessive atm. This woudlnt have been an issue in most other games where they had xserver so that gives you as the player some lvl of anonimty but on a small-intrest area like pvp is on this server with what 200-500 active ppl overall doing pvp daily at 55 its hard to "hide" in the shadows. so is it just my paranoia kicking in or is there some reason to actually think that something is going on, and I'm actually getting focused as a few players have said that they where gonna get "others to do". its getting to the point where I relish getting arena where I feel the games are much more normalized for me. Haveing 4+ targeting me as a non-healer just is excessive imo. and yes I want some cheese with my wine, but if you are one of the ppl who enjoy focusing me like I owe you money or if I got bacon in my pockets, you may start to reconsider how healthy overall its for the game if my feeling is accurate and ppl will resort to harassment/cyberbullying like this is starting to feel like. Naturally when I'm in with my own premade I have no issues at all, I still top the dmgtaken, but my pockethealerguildy can keep me up no worries.
