  1. lol, how he thinks things work... How things really work is illistrated by Denis Nedry in Jurassic Park....
  2. If all you got is a spell checker, I would stay home...
  3. Complainers, and people complaining about complainers ae equally annoying, even when they they think they are being educational or explaining how they think the world works. Just as I am beng condensending to you now
  4. Personally I found that pretty immature. You do understand that some of us are adults.. you know, actually went and see the origonal Starwars in the theator? No offense but its like asking your mom if she found that stupid thread funny...
  5. Actually this is not the Star Wars that anyone knows from the movies... This time line is thousands of years before the movies take place. Personally I am not so sure how I feel about that... Some would argue that too many jedi destroyed SWG, SWTOR takes that to a whole new level.
  6. Wow, I haven't seen this amount of negativity since Blizzard announced the coming of pandas....
  7. Trainwreck effect as they feel they are completely justified in cancelling so they know its coming...
  8. I am getting really frakkin tired of writting responses to a closed thread! Three times starts really pissing a person off and you get a thread like this!
  9. Lol, in before they delete the thread Ok, I'll bite. I cancelled before two weeks had elapsed. Its like that death by 100 cuts thing. No single or even a few things will kill you but they all add up to death... I also take my cancelling a serious blow to BW as I love starwars and had two accounts on SWG for years. There is just no community in SWTOR, no reason to call any planet home as your shuffled off to the next one after a few levels. Just as well you live in a ship... or RV...
  10. I think price reflects a level of quality and frankly I am not sure SWTOR can sustain 9.95 a month...
  11. Well, do have 60 bucks invested but I think it has more to do with the trainwreck factor...
  12. Lol, are you kidding? I saw this thread and knew instantly it would be more entertaining than anything in the game! Time for caring is over for many of us on our last day but we will likely still watch the forums even if we can't post.
  13. No, just saying if they are really planning some fixes... and want some of the people leaving to think they are serious... I know, wishful thinking... But people need to understand that we didn't all buy this game to quit... We quit because the negative outweighs the positive... I don't know how bad this last patch was as I have not played in a week. I guess the last time I tried and after all the long wait of the loading screens and then accidently X'ing out did it for me, never had the energy to try again...
  14. hmmm, instead of a title I would seriously consider some free game time. You know once a person leaves they will likely be gone for good. Don't have to believe me, ask SOE....
  15. The only patch I want is the single player, no monthly fee patch!
  16. That would actually be fine for me if BW lowered their subscription fee, but at 15 bucks a month that tells me they think they are up to par.
  17. ^ That. It all sounded good on the drawing board... Using the BW analogy, hans Solo had Chewy, but what if Hans replaced Chewy with a droid, and then replaced the droid with Clide, and then replaced Clide... I would say Hans was not very loyal... We all get our companion in different ways only to replace them?
  18. I completely agree with this. I want at least my single player content out of this but not willing to pay a monthly fee. There is nothing MMO that I like and I hate huttball!
  19. I think it's no secret that people are tired of the same old same old. Some of us have been playing MMO's since EQ. Then there was SWG, EQ2, WoW, etc... The only game I ever seen even remotely different was SWG but a couple bad decisions and that was ruined as once people leave they rarely come back. Many people complain of bugs and surely SWTOR has its share but it is not for bugs alone that many now express dissatisfaction. I think a lot of people were really expecting something different. Not the kill so many of those along with the kill 25 bonus rounds. I have no idea what it will take to become the next big MMO but I really feel it will be an attempt to look at the good things SWG brought to the genre, not what WoW brings. A sandbox environment is the only way to stray from the same old same old. Well, my opinion anyways...
  20. And people who complain about complainers can't wait a few more days. They want the forums to silence now now NOW! But it don't work like that, the world... Perhaps you will get your wish in a few days or perhaps you can have it now by closing your internet viewer or directing it elsewhere officer Bob Brady. Nothing to see here, move along.
  21. There is only one lesson to be learned... Never ever ever pre-order a MMO!
  22. Who cares about Nov 2004?? It is 2012 now, that is all that matters. I don't compare a game to 2004, I compare with CURRENT games. Is this your logic? because wow in 2004 was buggy it gives SWTOR a pass? Till when exactly? 2020?
  23. This week I have actually considered going back... I know... these are sad times...
  24. Wow, you sound a lot like all the SWG people just before they got kicked off their game because of this one...
  25. For real? You think we threw away 60 bucks to plan on leaving? I have read some pretty idiotic things on these boards.... I will leave it at that... After all, I don't know how many of them you wrote besides this one.
