  1. When you waste nine digits on a half baked RPG and its associated costs of licensing ****** middleware this tends to happen.
  2. Founder title! For when you want to advertise to the world how stupid you were to keep paying for an unfinished game!
  3. ATVI is up almost 300% from their pre-split price of $4.11 in Feb 2007 to $12.35 today. During a recession. Just saying.
  4. Whoever thought up this gimmick intro should never be allowed near game design ever again. $135 million well spent there, Bioware.
  5. Yep. $135 million well spent there. I can see the Interstate ramps of Austin lined with signs like "will code terrible MMO combat engine for food" and "PLEASE HELP COULD ONLY MAKE REPEATABLE AREAS AND MY MMO WAS CANCELLED GOT 2 KIDS AND ITS THE HOLIDAYS ANYTHING YOU CAN SPARE WOULD HELP GOD BLESS"
  6. Oh my god it's so dodgy. I can get two fast cast deliverances off a single conviction charge just by spamming the ability queue. It's like a 15 year old programmed their combat engine. None of the timings are properly checked. Everything feels so clunky.
  7. Fire Bomb. Bane of my existence on elites that have it. Starts dealing elemental damage that quickly overwhelms my ability to heal and I can't dispel it. Force Storm on Sith strong NPCs also bites hard. Casters have an almost infinite supply of spells that I feel like interrupting is next to useless.
  8. This is such a fun mechanic for elites that are "supposed" to be soloable (i.e. kill requirement of a not-heroic quest). Interrupt, force stun, interrupt and I might as well be dead like my companion who will certainly be next cast of an elite's megadeath spell.
  9. You don't heal with one button over and over. That would be silly and also impossible with the mod system. Also, if you can heal with one button over and over (*cough*deliverance*cough*) you can do that equally well with or without mods and macros.
  10. Except for the TOR analogues of Riptide, Ancestral Healing and Swiftmend w/ Efflorescence. Plus we get a ranged interrupt. The most disorientating thing for me is the toolkit is all over the place. They seem to give you a little bit of everything but it all feels completely inadequate when the situation goes to complete hell like pulling a second group by accident. No output cooldowns, no force reduction cost cooldowns, no tank cooldowns, no tranquility. The whole point of these is that judicious use of cooldowns provides an additional level of skill based metagameplay. Without them having someone make a mistake becomes purely punitive and vindictive to the player. You all can walk both ways uphill in the snow if you want but this isn't 1999. We don't train to zone anymore and we shouldn't put up with crap toolkits.
  11. Solo Elites with Ease? Jedi Sage = Trivial heroic areas.
