  1. Wow, so this thread was started in December. A dev replied in February that it was "in the works." It's now approaching the end of August, and this still hasn't made it into an update? Surely the mechanics aren't that difficult since it's already there for characters. Also, how about choosing to have the hoods down for Jedis (or anyone who wears gear with them)? I found a head slot item that removes it, but I shouldn't have had to do that. And I know people have been requesting that for a long time too.
  2. I wish that the specifics on this were simply explained when you start to purchase the piloting. Instead, I assumed that if my level 50 character was purchasing Improved Speeder Piloting 1 that it was doing it for the account. I was wrong, of course, which means I wasted 40K on a level 50 character buying an ability that is useless to it. That shouldn't be possible. Please add more instructions to that confirmation dialog, rather than just "this transaction is final." Better yet, just don't allow level 50 characters with all 3 piloting licenses to purchase another piloting license.
  3. Yes, I just found one the other day, just after I hit level 50: Ancient Ardent Blade's Headgear (Thumbnail on Torhead is wrong). I'm sure there are others of this type that will do it. I found it pretty cheap and then bought some really good mods. See screenshot here But, I really wish I could have just toggled it off instead of having to use this workaround.
  4. I just thought I'd post my little additional advice: Upgrade everything you can afford to upgrade. (I'm level 27, btw.) I prefer to use my T7 for missions, at least so far, so I had neglected Kira's gear horribly. So, after trying everything in this thread and getting very close to beating him, I went back to the Fleet to see what I could find. After upgrading most of Kira's gear through the Galactic market and some unused commendations, and somewhat upgrading my own as well, I went back and beat him easily -- still using the strats listed in this thread though. By comparison, before doing this, Kira died within a very few seconds. When I beat him, though, she almost survived the fight. Huge difference. Good luck!
  5. You venture out of the house (to Best Buy no less) and think you hear light sabers hitting things in the distance. True story! lol -- After playing for several hours yesterday, I went to Best Buy to get a TV clip for the Kinect we just got, and while looking for it I heard this sound. It turned out to be someone playing a demo of a game (not a Star Wars one) that had a humming-like sound in the background. But my brain registered the sound at first as being a light saber. I just thought I'd post something positive, especially since it looks like this forum is consumed by unhappy people. I guess all the people happy with the game are playing it. That makes some sense. Chime in! What's you're "I'm already addicted to this game" story?
