  1. Sounds like bad luck to me. Besides, if it was so easy to get gear (armor, weapons, earpieces, ext.) with augment slots, then they wouldn't be so special. Augment slots are a bonus, not need.
  2. Sure, some of the daily grind and the go and kill x creatures missions are pretty much the same. But . . . SWTOR: Five companions to pick from and gear WOW: Some have pets and some can summon things, but SWTOR: Companions that do crafting and gathering WOW: Um, no SWTOR: Space battles (sure to be expanded and improved) WOW: Ohh, pretty stars SWTOR: Legacy systems connecting all your alts and family trees WOW: All my characters start with the letter "A" SWTOR: Hey, I really like this armor and can upgrade it to make if viable the whole game WOW: Must get next tier of armor or be left behind in stats Are there similarities? Sure there are. But are there things that set SWTOR apart, definatly!!!!
  3. OH NO!!!! The game has been out for a whole frikin month. And after one or two changes (to a game that will be having patches and changes the whole time it is out), people are quitting. Wow. Lets all judge end game content when the game has been out for a few weeks and most (like lots and lots) people dont even have a character at end game. Come on people, the game just started. Some things are going to be slow, off balance, and weird for a while. That is the whole point of a patch. Ok, had my rant. Thanks. PS - I'm not quitting. Things will evolve, but it is still an excellent game on the whole!
  4. Hello Everyone, I have cybertech and on TORHEAD, I see that I can craft the following items: Portable Transport Beacon Prototype Transport Beacon The Portable Transport Beacon does not require a very high cybertech efficiency, but I have not seen it. First question: Is this a schematic that is dropped by NPC, gotten from gathering missions, bought at a vendor? Second question: What is the difference between the two? I assume that the Protable Transport Beacon is a one time use and the Prototype Transport Beacon is reusable? Third question: Is it even in the game? With the exception of TORHEAD, I have heard very little about these two devices. Thanks for the help!
  5. I only knew because I did the same thing a few days ago.
  6. I am not trying to sound sarcastic, but do you have your "Combat Support Cell" activated. I believe you have to have this cell activated to use those abilities.
  7. I picked the smallest body type and made his as old as possible with as much grey hair (except on top, no hair). So, I have a small tiny old guy running around with a huge assult cannon.
  8. As stated, the cap is 1000. And, yes, you can buy gear that higher level then you can use. I am only lvl 15, but I bought a few pieces of lvl 50 gear (before I reliezed there was lvl 20 gear that I could get) so that I didn't waste my 1000 cap.
  9. As far as I am aware, the only thing that the droid parts are used for are for droid companions. Normal (organic) companions wear armor and such. Droid companions use cores and such.
