  3. This would actually be simple to implement, you wouldn't need live feeds, just a board allowing matches with players names and stats next to them. You could have various betting areas, such as betting on player that will get the most kills, highest heals, most threat, winning team, and possibly score ranges. While the idea is a good one and would allow for some gambling, this would most likely not bring more people to the game as suggested in another post.
  4. Hardcore raiding guilds are always going to blow through stuff, having the gear min/max stats benefits all the casual players. Hardcore raiding guilds simply look for more content, they have progression groups that are going to work on all these ops nightly until they have it down. Its not about the gear never has been. Its about running with people with ops awareness, learning the fights and forming group cohesion. Proof of this is I have ran EC HM with multiple pug groups that are in all arkanian and ultimate gear and still failing(this is a level 50 op). Having the right gear is not going to get people through these ops, which makes my point of getting the gear should not be harder when there is a lot more to these ops than just gear. Gear is what allows people to be on equal playing fields and get into good groups, the rest is a work in progress.
  5. I agree there is more than there once was and that is a positive thing, as for people leaving because of the lack of content, that should be a sign rather than a complaint. Everyone takes the journey to get to the max level, but this is an MMO, it should not be lacking at that point. I realize there are more ops coming out, my point was solely that if your going to come out with a future expansion, make sure you have plenty of content to do once you get there, not just a few things, people get bored they find new games. Personally I would like to see this game around for many years. I will also say, I am repeating what I have heard repeatedly from guild members and others I have ran with. Some people are not skilled enough to run ops and have no use for them; however, raiding is a huge part of an MMO and I believe those that can't get through the current content may lack the time or experience to handle them and will probably get bored and leave anyway. I simply listed the complaint's I hear the most when people are leaving or not playing as much as they used to once they have leveled. I appreciate disagreement; however, these are repeated sentiments from countless raiders I've ran with, not just my own.
  6. The expansion was nice; however, you added one planet , one boss fight, and one operations to the game.. Now there is less content than there was before for end game. If your going to come out with new operations or revamp old ones there should be at least 4-5 to allow guilds to run almost nightly. One important note is that you came out with ops like EV and KP that allowed lessor skilled players to run them and now with all the new mechanics in each op they are left being carried through the new ops or not being able to run anything. Leveling is great; however for long term play end game content must be not only worth it but have plenty of it to keep people interested. The way people get gear should not have been made harder, majority of guys want to group up and run stuff because its fun, not just for gear. We had all the top level gear at 50 and continued to play the game nightly. All that was accomplished by making gear harder to obtain was the alienation of the casual player. Most these guys that can only play a couple hours a night are now left out of ops and other content because they lack decent gear. Its nice that companions are being added to the game: however, if they are unable to help on crafting missions that its kind of pointless to keep adding them. Treek is an excellent addition and I utilize her regularly but it would be nice to send two more companions out on missions as well. One of the biggest problems in the game right now is the gear. For example the gear has junk stats and requires that you buy 4 head pieces to get the mods and enhancements you need for each piece. End game gear should already be the top stats for your toon, and allow players to choose to sacrifice one thing for another. For instance, if power was more important to the player they could take out a surge mod to add power. Yes you can do that but right now the stats you give force a player to do that rather than just trying it. We have a lot of members that are leaving to go play other MMO's due to lack of end game content. Yes, you have added more flashpoints, however, they do not drop 72 gear so other than the ultimate weekly coms they are not a big benefit to the game. On a final note the lockouts should be changed, hardmode and nightmare mode should not be on the same lockout, this would give guilds extra runs each week. It makes sense that you can only get set bonus pieces from drops, this is the incentive to run harder ops, not the added gear. If you added more set pieces it would make more people want to run this stuff. For example everyone complains about sage/sorcs have force issues when healing, instead of fixing this add a two piece set bonus that helps with it. Same thing with other classes, so when a person has a full set bonus their toons are much better than those who have neglected to get them. By all means start giving the crafters some love here.
  7. The only real problem I see with companions is that you can't send more out on crafting missions. Lets face now we have 8 companions and only 5 of them can go farm for mats. The idea of having to run around on more missions just to max out their affections doesn't make sense to me. I do agree that in updates from time to time new phrases be added to different companions would make it interesting though.
  8. Aftermath has been around since beta, we are a casual and social guild that take our ops seriously. We are currently recruiting all roles in hopes to establish multiple teams for running ops and a second progression group. Weekly schedules include TFB SM, SNVSM, Classic OP, TCSM free for anyone in the guild to join. Progression groups work on HMs as a steady team. We are looking to start adding 16man groups and a progression group, if you are interested pst, DrVanguard or Hurrikane in game. Are only requirements are that members get along with others and register on our website at aftermathswtor.com. We also utilize mumble during Ops. Our raid times start between 7-8 and end between 10- 10:30 est. If this fits your schedule and sounds like your type of group contact us. We are not a training guild so please be in at mostly 69s and know how to play your role with good ops awareness. shadowlands server
  9. this is still an ongoing bug, judging by the date of this post swtor has no intention of fixing it.

  11. In my opinion the game is going to have to offer a lot more than just end game content for those of us who will stay paying, or setup free to play servers.
  12. I know it seems as unfair but the truth is the game doesn't open until the 20th and come the 21st when everyone has got to play this will be a forgotten issue. I know in your mind everyone should get in at once crash the servers fill the forums up with complaints because they didn't get to play or level up as fast as someone else. The game as advertised said up to 5 days of early access which means 1-5 days early. Lets not lose site in the fact that once you hit lvl 50 you wont care who got there first. I commend Bioware in being smart and making sure the launch goes smoothly. No one has the right to join until the 20th so if we get lucky and join a few days early than its a bonus. The guys ranting and raving about a few days are just trying to force bioware's hand and I think they see where its getting them. Its obvious that your dying to play the game and it means so much your hoping to get in early but its an mmo so don't worry it will be around for years, its not a sprint its a marathon.
