  1. Greetings angalgar! I see you've recieved a number of messages about guilds, but I hope i'm not too late. Please come check us out at http://www.guildmedieval.com ...we may ne just what you're looking for! Either way, I'm Earwig (mostly) a 35 sage with numerous alts, so shoot me a tell if you're ever in need of anything at all!!
  2. Hi Gamewench, You sound like the kind of player we're looking for over at http://www.guildmedieval.com We're a laid back group looking to have fun and be social with no drama while building toons to run endgame content with. I hope you'll take a minute or two to head on over to the website and have a read...I've been with this group for almost 2 years and couldn't be happier. Either way, I'm usually in game as Earwig (Rep) or Unanni (Imp), so drop me a line if you see me on and need a hand with anything at all!! Take care, and may the force be with you!
  3. I've been with GM for almost 2 years and these guys are amazing! friendly, helpful, and fun to group with... I'm on as my 35 DPS Sage (Earwig) or my 35 DPS Mara (Unanni)...please send me an ingame message and I'll help you all get sorted out in no time!! Looking forward to seeing you soon! May the force be with you!
  4. tbh - the tionese crystals ARE a great place to start, BUT run your dailies (gross, i know!)...and then start simply by trading the dailies for the 126 level armor mods and weapons. running HM's is perfectly doable in 126's and seems to be the standard accepted starting gear levels. Again, NOT SAYING dont go after false emperor or battle of ilum, just that you can go around even that much, while filling your credit-stick up with a nice haul of creds! the dailies also offer - at the 200ish mark - relics and implants and all sorts of other goodies! good luck!
  5. besides the fact that people hardly EVER read the posts above them and barge straight from the OP to their own $0.02, this post is FILLED with wrongness (and a little rightness). as mentioned before... ...you DO NOT GAIN CHARACTER XP after 50 ...you DO, MOST DEFINITELY gain legacy xp from characters at 50. and that's my $0.02...paid in Canadian coins!
  6. i forget most of the details, but i call recall a few things: 1) there are multiple levels of the legacy stuff...Inheritance/birthright, etc 2) its not ALL vendor trash. at the proper levels the gear really isn't too too bad 3) it occasionally drops from missions (though its been so long since one dropped for me i forget the mission (i got an inheritance chest-piece 4) the legacy stuff is GREAT for leveling low level alts - bound to legacy means that even a not so great piece might still be better than some of the greens lowbies are forced into 5) the vendor for the legacy stuff is a great place to get orange (mod-able) belts and bracers for "relatively" cheap (cheaper than the GTN i have found) good luck!
  7. how do you spell irony? a guy named Kourage, with a signature about not crying? well played sir, well played.
  8. a little silly story from my experience... in the late '90s during the re-release of the improved versions of the films, i was dating a girl that had never, ever, seen a Star Wars film. My mother, and her father also wanted to go see it (i still like to think it was a desire to see the movies and not to chaperone two 20 year olds, but i digest...), so we all hopped into the DeLorean (actually my 1986 Dodge Daytona) and headed to the opening night on a cold, crisp night February night. The east coast of Canada can be cold as hell in February, but that year we had had surprisingly very little snow. ESB, my favorite of all the films (even as a EU fan, i still only believe in the Original Three), opens on Hoth and ends in space.... ...except for us, where it opened on Hoth and ended on Hoth. While we were inside, 3 feet of snow had fallen. The drive home was scary awesome with both my gf's father and my mother in the back seat (and he a 70 year old war vet) yelling at me in what i swear was Ugnaught. I yelled Johns Williams masterpieces the whole way home and had a blast... ...until the ultra low Daytona got stuck about a mile from home. Best night ever. Couldn't wait to see RotJ....remember where that one opened??
  9. A round of Toydarian Snotballers for everyone...I'm buying!
  10. funnily enough - the MUSE LOWER ROBE, is a pair of light armor PANTS. granted they are skin-tight-white-rod-steward-looking monstrosities, but its a place to start looking i suppose.
  11. Lopok

    Why...

this post makes exactly 0 sense. 0.
  12. you'd rather cancel than start again on another server? sure it'd be "such" a chore, but you'd be able to "do PVP PVE FP HEROIC MISSIONS." this aint no fanboy thing - its honest curiosity! anyway what am i doing right now?? just got my toddler asleep, and i'm about to cash in some dailies for gear upgrades!!
  13. I actually agree 100% with this. the fact is, that there are actually more important things to a company that JUST its player base. there investors and always more people to answer to. so perhaps a perceived black eye might cause them some financial embarrassment, but certainly, like all things, when the market DOES improve (it ALWAYS improves - financially, of course) the company will be a stronger entity indeed. plus, it'd make us a happier community. Win-win i say!!
  14. People can't get it through their force-cloaked minds that GALAXIES IS DEAD. there I said it. and the rest?? it'll come or this game will pass....but for all thats midichlorian in the galaxy, give. it. a. rest.
  15. an actual help for you would be to ask you what server you are on? this is helpful for those of us with extra crystals to set up a trade/sell with you. I am on Giradda the Hutt - contact me for crystals on my toon Zoya good luck!
  16. Revenge or Return...interesting, but not how i ever thought about it! I always kind of thought that those original movies existed in a vacuum (no flaming on episodes 1-3 intended), but rather that they existed in the vacuum of Lucas' mind..leaving us with a story of a galaxy trying to throw off the reach of a despot. granted that story focused almost entirely around one family, and left us watchers with more than 1 or 2 questions regarding family normalcy (i bet Luke woke some nights in a sweat about that kiss!!)... ...BUT i digest i always thought the return of the Jedi was an interesting thing. we know from the little lore within the original episodes that the Jedi were "once guardians of peace and knowledge" who were wiped out by the emperor and Vader. Along the way, Luke, the Jedi protege, seeks training from Yoda, and when he wonders about his standing as a Jedi ("then i AM a Jedi..."!), his awe is short lived. Yoda explains that HIS walk to be a Jedi, and the RETURN of the JEDI to the galaxy cannot occur until Vader is defeated. The fact that Vader was redeemed, was the Chosen One, and completed the prophecies about him were moot points - we didn't have nearly enough information in the day to worry about such things! Nor should we be concerned with the fact that it was Luke who became the Jedi...there was, remember "another Sky....walk...er!" leaving me to assume it was the Return of the Order!
  17. my thoughts? you are EXACTLY right...this needs an answer...anything to help us adapt or move on to a new skill would be fantastic.
  18. For me? Simple.... ...cademimu..... ...so many angry ughnaughts...
  19. an easier way than hitting "N" followed by the summon comapnion button, then activating the gift (3 second delay) and then resummoning the original one? ...this troll is clearly missing something from the OP troll....!!
  20. Well, to be honest, in order to get ahead in the body count, the Jedi could start the fight on Tatooine, which would put them one step ahead of the League right off the bat.....!! ....what???.... ...you didn't notice Aquaman??
  21. a major drag...glad i bought up all the crystals and artifact fragments the GTN had to offer when i had the chance! thanks for the fast reply!
  22. i haven't made up my mind as to how i feel about the crafting changes... ...but i do have a question that I'd love an answer to... the new schematic Elegant somethingorother Lightsaber was the first thing i got, and got it multiple times (which i GTN'd), and then went about crafting as many of the suckers as i could...i was able to craft 20 (level 43 crafter here: 4comp's x 5 items in queue) sabers, which netted me 3 critted pieces (1 i am keeping, and the other i have already sold, and at too shallow a cost, but that's my own stupidity!), and left me with 17 of the new sabers that i had intended to RE for mats and keep the process of $$$$ flowing... ....however, the option never came up. Is it because the item is lev 50, and I am only 43 (but i saw no notice about the required RE levels)? or are these new items RE-proof? granted, i have been unable to log in yet to check these options, but if anyone has in fact RE'd the new Elegant sabers, I'd love to hear about what i am doing wrong!!
