  1. 3 Days makes me feel a little better, at least.
  2. Feels pretty good that I am one of the players affected by this issue yet I am not eligible for the 30 free days of game time, since I manually enter my subscription information every month rather than leaving it recurring. Thanks for making the decision easier, BioWare!
  3. If my account is currently active (ie I have 8 days remaining) but my recurring subscription is not active, I do not get the 30 free days, correct?
  4. I don't even have a floppy drive, so I'll probably have to go the alternate route. Download all the files onto a live goat, then sacrifice said goat on my desk.
  5. Tried, can't find any folder called Patch. I figure at this point the worst that could happen is I could ruin the whole install, but the whole install is already ruined so I don't feel bad dicking around in there. I deleted all the files with 'version' on them, but the launcher keeps trying to download the whole game. Not sure what else I can delete.
  6. This is pretty ridiculous. I live in Canada, where almost every ISP has download caps, throttling, and overage charges. I can't afford to download another ~15GB today. I guess I'll have to unsub. Thanks BioWare.
  7. On a related note, shortly after posting this I joined a Voidstar game that ended early because ~3 players on each team didn't want to play and left. Forcing those players to play out Voidstar would not have been a fun solution for anyone. I would much rather have waited a few more minutes until my game had 16 players who wanted to play Voidstar, and had a good game. Now I get stuck waiting in the queue again, crossing my fingers that I don't get Alderaan, and if not, that I get 8 teammates who want to play Voidstar or Huttball.
  8. I'm posting to ask BioWare to kindly consider allowing players to select which warzone they queue for when PvPing. I don't enjoy playing the Alderaan Civil War warzone, as I've never, from rank 1-43 valor, seen a game in which one team successfully took a turret from the other team and subsequently won. The warzone is boring and lame when I am winning since the other team poses no threat, and boring and frustrating when I am losing, since there is no chance of my team winning. I would much prefer the ability to queue only for Voidstar and Huttball. As it is, if I don't wish to play Alderaan, I have to leave the warzone, wait a couple of minutes for someone to fill my vacant spot, and try again (and hopefully not join yet another Alderaan match). Forcing players to queue for warzones they don't like isn't actually going to force more players to play that warzone. It's just going to force more teams to start the game with 6 players while other players get to spend more time waiting in queue. Thank you.

  10. ETA BioWare? My ugly ugly PvP armor makes me want to stop playing until I can have the appearance I want.
  11. Guys, I hear if you use fire attacks his health regeneration doesn't apply. ('Cause he's a TROLLLLLL)
  12. The things you are talking about in your review are true, I just strongly disagree with most of your opinionated responses to them: I LIKE no auto-attack, I find it makes combat more involved. I LIKE the types of quests we are given, I found stupid vehicle and bombing quests in WoW frustrating and boring. I enjoy the companion system, and I think it's a valuable add-on. You seem to just list the game's features and then say you don't like them. I like them. While your review consists of factual information, I disagree with it.
  13. I ordered on Labour Day after the first beta weekend. I had actually totally forgotten about the game until I got the beta invite, but as soon as I got to play the first 10 levels I pre-ordered. Here's hoping we get in tomorrow!
