  1. thats BS, i made into the last 2 beta weekends and thought: "know what ima go trooper", later i did a smuggler and now that im actually playing the game for real i started with a vanguard...didnt like it and rerolled a gunslinger, so i pretty much know everything there is about the starter area. keeping that in mind i just made my way trough the story by pressing space, i made 1 tiny lil mistake and now i got 100 light side points.... if i dont get to change this im srsly ditching this game, rerolling a sixth time the same starter area and the next 20 lvls that come along with it would be no fun at all.
  2. They are actually completely the same (like it should be) aside from the fact that powertechs gain a charge on a 15 secs cooldown (jet charge) and vanguards get storm, basically the same skill without the charge. Bioware you guys do realize that 1 charge more is extremely powerful, furthermore when combined with the 2point ability on the skill tree that gives you 30% movement speed increase for 4 seconds whenever used. Powertechs are already hard enough to kite. Im not QQing nor anything, just pointing out that the charge should be either given to the vanguard or removed from the powertech thus balancing those classes. If you don't...well i guess its your game and i can just reroll imperium. its not really like i care about the republic, just playing it to even the factions on my server, still for vanguards like me with no real likes/dislikes on each faction, IT IS a game breaking issue that needs to be attended. just my 2 cents
  3. third time this happened to me today, not my fault all my friends wanna play on the most populated server. i got to play maybe 1 1/2 hours today. nice bioware, keep up the "good" work
  4. So Bioware...trolling much with the Players huh? wheres wave 2?
  5. i just hope they dont take a bathroom break whilst on the smoke break
  6. EDIT: just forget what i wrote under this sentence, didnt understand the OPs post at first and thought he asked why bioware put lightsabers in game and not why the council had it. "The first lightsabers came into being when Jedi combined advanced offworld technology with a forging ritual, learning how to "freeze" a laser beam. By the time of the Duinuogwuin Contention around 15,500 BBY, their studies and researches with this "frozen blaster" technology yielded success; they developed a method to generate a focused beam of energy that arced circumferentially back to its source, creating a controlled energy circuit and leading to the first portable high-energy blades." "With Naga Sadow's invasion of the Republic in 5,000 BBY and the subsequent start of the Great Hyperspace War, the technological innovations pioneered by the Sith Empire were brought to the Republic and the Jedi. However, the majority of Sith forces held to the use of Sith swords, while the Jedi continued to use the protosabers, as they had not yet had time to adapt and implement these new designs. With the Sith defeat at the end of the war, modern lightsabers were adopted by the Jedi order. By 4,800 BBY they were almost universally utilized by Jedi." shamefully taken from http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Lightsaber btw we are playing about 3500 BBY (correct me if im wrong on this), so lightsabers were invented already and the theory was there for over 10000 years, thus explaining the holocrons with the data in it.
  7. WHOAAAA...easy there big guy. i know its hard to control your hormones when you are 12, but you got my support.
  8. I agree, i just thought that maybe by rolling sith on a PvE server i wouldnt be part of a zerg. Zerging has only downsides and no upside, u get to play ball everytime u want to PvP, quest zones are terribly overpopulated, fps issues on the first few levels...sigh
  9. I know i will get trolled, but i just ask for 1 tiny reply. Are pve servers having the same faction balance issues as pvp servers? yes or no...cant be that hard
