  1. This, this this and this. Lets not forget the useless legacy system, the NEW COMPANION and all the other meaningless garbage that Bioware continues to throw at us to try and patch the holes of a sinking ship. Why not just fix the god damn ship? Also...PVP balance? Am i the only one going to say this? NERF POWERTECHS NERF POWERTECHS NERF POWERTECHS! (aka vanguards) Seriously, they have the highest damage output... with ridiculous burst and almost no ammo cost, they are ridiculously tanky, with a talent that reduces their shield's cooldown when they take damage, i mean even minor aoe contributes to this. On top of this they are the simplest class to play. In my mind, powerful classes are ok, but when someone runs around spamming 2 buttons and simply facerolls everyone, thats not competitive, its not enjoyable, and its not what high level pvp is about. Before you say less qq, i have a 50 vanguard... which i dont play because its just mind-numbing and boring. Also can we have a god damn leaver penalty? And cross server wz? So we dont have to get stomped by the same 4-12 no lifer powertechs who spam the same 2 buttons over and over? No joke, people read their names and leave, every wz, with no penalty. Its a complete joke. Your game is destroying itself, and you guys arent paying enough attention to the real issues that need to be fixed. But thats ok guys, heres a new companion. Brb Guild Wars 2.
  2. So, you go to the new legacy item vendor, and there are a bunch of cool looking oranges for outrageous prices. I'm not here to cry about the prices or anything, i understand why they are there and it makes perfect sense to me. But this is where i'm lost... it appears that you can only buy the gear on the character you have exceeding level 20. For example, i have a level 50 guardian, and i want to roll a BH. But i can't buy the BH set? I can only buy the guardian set? Why would i want my BH running around in jedi robes? Did i miss something or is this system as herp as it seems?

    Leaver debuff

This is true of some, and when, occasionally you encounter such idiots, it just makes you want to leave. However, when people hit 50, they aren't mailed a bag of viable pvp gear to help them into WZ progression. Think about it, how else are they supposed to improve, and how painful of an experience is it for them when every game is crippled by leavers.

    Leaver debuff

I'll tell you why they are leaving. Because they can. They can leave a game that might take some effort to win because 1 or 2 people may be undergeared, and in 4 minutes time they can requeue with 0 penalties. How are these people supposed to get more geared if every game they join is screwed over by leavers forcing a 4v8 in the first few minutes?

    Leaver debuff

Please! For the love of god, give those leavers a cooldown time. We lose too many wz because half the team leaves before its started. Why is this not a feature seriously? There are a whole group of players on my server who will just auto leave if the team isnt full battlemaster gear with at least 2 healers. So we always start with 4-6 and by the time we have replacements its too late to turn the game around. I'm dead serious you will see the same players at the start of every wz, and then they will leave immediately.
  6. I would really appreciate a developer response on this. I understand and fully support the rational behind the grav round nerf. However i think the way they went about it is far from the best solution. This is (imo) the best way to deal with the problem mathematically and will make dps much more fun for commandos. 1. Increase grav round damage by 10% of what it was BEFORE 1.2 (please read the next line so you dont think im a troll) 2. For each grav vortex present on a target, it takes 5% less damage from grav round. 3. Demo round removes all grav vortices from the target. This way, your first grav round is a nice solid nuke. (your target now has 2 vortices applied, assuming you followed through on the Gravity surge talent). Your second grav round does 10% less damage, so it should be roughly equal to the original grav round damage. (your target has 4 vortices applied now). Your third grav round does the current grav round damage. (Vortices are now maxed) Subsequent grav rounds will do 25% less damage... making spamming it a ridiculous choice. Instead you use demo round, wiping the vortices of the target and freeing you to start the rotation again. Please share your thoughts on the matter, and again i'd love to hear a developers opinion. Have a good one
  7. I must say though... Bioware's logic is astounding, if grav round was nerfed to counter brainless spamming being viable on the commando's part.... then where is the force lightning nerf?
  8. Just a tip for commandos/mercs who are struggling with the new changes... Try this out ... Priority order of moves: 1. Full auto on curtain of fire proc 2. Demo round on 5 stacks of gravity vortex 3. High impact bolt at 5 stacks 4. Grav round in between Basically, the old rotation, except using full auto whenever it comes up... if your numbers are going anything like mine, you should be getting a lot of full autos in compared to pre 1.2 and in my opinion it has increased my overall damage output. I have found myself doing more damage in 1.2 thanks to the more frequent full autos and the massive demo round crits. Not sure what everyone else is getting upset about, maybe you guys are the ones who just spammed grav round extensively.
  9. People are complaining about patch 1.1.3 already, but my game client is downloading a 4.06 gb file called 'English assets 1', ever since the servers went down... Has something gone wrong? Like my client trying to re-install the game? Or what... I'm completely boggled. Any help/tips would be much appreciated.
  10. Hiding in the back of the cantina in Olaris spaceport, if you dont have Kira, T7 or Corso, dont bother. He doesnt sell customisations for anyone else. I do understand how it can be difficult for them to customise alien models, but i have no idea where else to find one for my HUMAN companion.
  11. Companion customisation vendors. Hard as balls to find, so far i've found the one vendor on Taris, and there were no options for Trooper customisation. To top things off, this guy didnt appear on my map when i used the search vendors function, i had to face check to find out if he existed. Are there any others on Nar Shadda/later planets? Or do troopers just get to run around with identical companions.
  12. Ahhh ok, see my thoughts were, the droid was customisable to make up for the fact that he wont change appearance through gear, but its cool to think that i can customise Elara later on... shes my fav companion :> Sexy british healbot ftw!
  13. I'm going to sidetrack your topic to add a question of my own.... There are customisations for Aric and Elara? Where do i get them? I got some for the T7 companion on my JK but i didnt know that you could customise the trooper companions.
  14. Its not just about numbers. Bioware has no idea which customers are going to sit there glued to the pc for the first week, which customers are going to play casually, and which customers are going to log on, decide the game sucks, and log off for good (despite stalking this game for years). You can't expect anyone to get that sort of thing figured out. You also don't know WHEN customers are going to play, considering that the game is worldwide, there are going to be busy hours and there are going to be quiet patches. And i might add, this issue is only on certain servers, i've had no problems on mine since the launch. Not a single queue or anything. Bioware aren't going to know which server fills up the fastest. If anything, i think bioware are the first people to get this issue right. Their solution is to experience the sort of problems they will have with this game 5 days before the public launch, when the only people playing are diehard fans who went out and pre-ordered. The risk of losing customers is a lot lower, and they can hopefully fix a lot of the issues before the game even goes public. If thats what they had in mind, then it looks like Bioware learned a lot to me.
