  1. Would be great if there was just 4 servers for US. US-West RP-PvP US-West RP-PvE US-East RP-PvP US-East RP-PvE That way RPers aren't "left out" as they always feel, and PvE and PvPers both get their tastes satisfied. Would also be great if they had cross-server queueing for Group Finder and WZ Queues (ranked and unranked). Here's to hoping for 3.0
  2. bump! Got a few new active players on the roster but are still looking to grow!
  3. Hey, dunno if you're interested in maybe starting a guild up? I'm a returning player with 2 (well, 3 but one is very new to the game) players coming back with me who are both experienced players in progression raiding as well as PvE. We haven't done any of the new(er) content but we're looking to start a small guild up. Shoot me a message in game, Im either on my sorc (Ves'kaia) or my jugg (Inzidus) we can talk further there or see what other options we may have!
  4. <Revolution> Currently Recruiting All Active Imperials! Revolution is a newly formed guild looking to grow larger and are in a full recruitment drive. We are like-minded individuals with a goal of starting a guild that will take parts in all aspects of the game. We love what SWTOR has to offer it's players and we feel if you have a good, fun, and caring guild by your side, achieving goals in and out of the game becomes much more desirable and enjoyable. Guild Experience Revolution was originally a launch guild that was able to down all content up to and including HM EC when it was current content. Our original server (Ajunta Pall) unfortunately died out, we dissolved and only few remained. We are looking to revitalize this guild with fresh blood, encouraged to become better than we once were. We have a handful of dedicated players looking to help build this guild from its core outward, and you could be the piece we're looking for! Why Revolution over Another Guild? Well, simply put Revolution is looking to be a small, but competitive guild, so instead of just being a name on a roster, you'd be a vital part to a well run machine. Whether PvE, PvP, Conquest, or even just casual daily grinds is your type of game, we've got players who are into it. As well, we're all about making sure we know each other on a friendly level, and that we socialize within the game and our TeamSpeak server. If you've ever been a part of a large guild, you can understand how overwhelming it can be getting involved in regular content runs, so with Revolution you're able to help us build these groups and help form our core, like stated above - you could be the missing cog. Contacting Us: If you're interested in becoming a part of our team, you can contact us multiple ways; such as In-game: Ves'kaia, Teigue, or Symsyr Website: http://revolution-swtor.enjin.com Shoot me a twitter message @InzaNeCS Thanks for reading!
  5. Yeah, I'm running the same setup as you basically (i7 2600k @ 4.6, GTX670 2gb card, 16gb ram) and I get 60 FPS on the fleet no problem, but when I see 60+ people on the fleet I start to dip to 45-55 FPS - big battles are fine, Operations are fine, all at max WITH shadows enabled, I sometimes dip to like 30 FPS in dense areas, but its all playable and hardly noticeable. I record while I play too, and that also puts a hit on my FPS. I think everyone knows the game isnt optimized as good as it could be, but is playable. If you get bad performance, turn your settings down. Thats how it's always worked in PC gaming and this should be no different. This game isn't World of Warcraft, this game is MUCH better looking and your old 4+ year old computers cant max it, time to upgrade. That's the nature of the beast that is PC gaming.
  6. Hey guys, I'm currently looking to join a seasoned guild here on POT5. I play a Sorcerer, heal spec. I love healing in MMOs. I've got experience although only up to Explosive Conflict. I was serious into raiding when the game first launched but life got busy around the summer time and I had to focus on other things. I came back and rerolled in October on POT5. I've joined two or three small guilds that always promised to offer something that others didnt, but they never really came through. Now I'm not looking to become one of your core raiding group right away. Maybe that is something I can potentially earn but it's not something I expect right off the bat. All I'm looking for is activity, fun atmosphere, and a laid back ruleset that doesn't restrict what I like to do in MMOs (PvP while I wait around the fleet, and PvE when running Operations or Guild events + dailys) I've been subbed since launch, I took about 3-4 months off total, but I'm a reliable player who will be around for time to come, I'm not on a monthly sub, but rather a quarterly sub and I've already pre-ordered RoTHC and will be playing up to 55 on Makeb and all the new content that will be releasing. I've got a microphone and teamspeak. I can use Vent or Mumble (although I prefer TeamSpeak) I am 23 years old and am a big Star Wars fan, live with my girlfriend. I'm from Vancouver, Canada and work a full time job so most of my playtimes come before, or after work, and on the weekends. If you're interested send me a tell in-game (Character is Ves'kaia) or post a message here. I'll check the forums at least once every day or two! Thanks guys!
  7. I play a Sorc and Jugg both at 50, my queue times on my healer, generally are like 5mins-30mins. No biggie, I'll just do my dailies as I wait for it to pop. My tank? Almost instant queues all the time. I queue, and within 5mins I'll be in an FP. You have to find stuff to do while in the group finder. Go do your dailies, go level up your crew skills, or go farm materials, don't just sit in the fleet waiting for it to pop.
  8. I know at least 10 people that I know personally who have gone and downloaded the game to try it under F2P who are enjoying what it offers, and are expecting to sub in the future. These are people who never would have tried the game in the first place, but gave it a shot because it's free. Of course more people will come to play because of Free to Play. Subscriber numbers (although not being released officially) have been stagnant at a decent number. Free to Play will only increase this, not decrease this, so if anything we can only expect numbers to rise. Of course, initially numbers are through the roof. Numbers will drop once the initial shock value of F2P passes, but I think we'll see a decent number of F2Per's stick around and possibly sub if they feel the game delivers on more than one level.
  9. I like how people claim Queues are a bad thing. People claimed the same thing when the game launched, and we ended up with way too many servers. Let's hope BioWare doesn't give in to the QQ this time and leaves the amount of servers as it is now. Last thing we need is a repeat of launch and having ghost servers.
  10. I was actually discussing something similar with my guild a few weeks ago. We were thinking about how cool it would be if we had "Class Daily Quests" or Weekly's if they find these can become too stale/boring quickly. So for example, if you're a Sith Warrior or Inquisitor, you're tasked with having to go find some ancient Sith artifacts, or other objectives like taking out traitors to the Emperor. A Bounty Hunter would be able to collect bounties on a few planets, having to locate high-threat PvE targets and either take them out, or capture them. You can turn this around for the Jedi as well, have Jedi Knights / Consulars have to go out on missions such as having to go to the same areas the Sith Warrior / Inquisitors have to go, but rather than collecting the artifacts to gain self-empowerment, they are instead tasked with bringing the items back to the Jedi Council and/or storing them in the Jedi Archives. I personally think it would be great to include class-dailys or class-weeklys. They can have 2-3 of them, and alternate them out on a week-by-week basis, or whatever, but in my opinion, this would add a new layer to RP and character building, as well as providing players who are not so RP inclined with stuff to do after they've done their main story line, and keeps them feeling like they are the class they chose.
  11. Just because you've done the content on one character shouldn't mean you shouldn't have to clear it on all the characters. This is how MMOs are supposed to be. You do it on one character, you got to do it on all characters. This would just make it so you can have super-geared character and collect all the tokens for every class just to send them to your alts. NO thank you!
  12. If you play on max settings, it is raining in Dromund Kaas 24/7. Sure it's not as "dark" as a planet could be, but it's definitely not day time, Sunny, or Green (other than the grass) but I mean, what color do you expect grass to be?
  13. You're upgrading your new OS because of your processor and motherboard? That makes 0 sense as it gives no performance increase in gaming whatsoever. Don't upgrade to Windows 8 - if you know Microsofts pattern you'd know every 2nd OS they release is utter garbage. Cue Vista, ME, and Windows 2000 (non-server)
  14. I agree I would like to see this added ASAP. It's not that I don't like rerolling, it's just that I've put so much hard work in to my geared toons on Ajunta Pall back before the mergers, and now I'm stuck in Jung Ma with 14 other people in the fleet during the times I play. It's quite saddening, honestly. Bioware, take my money so I can play where other players play!
