  1. When I played a jedi knigt in the beta weekend... I didn't see any empire players on tython, coruscant, taris or nar shadaa... by that point I'm pretty sure your like late 20s/early 30s. After 3-4 more days your already at max level and any advantage they had is gone. After the first 2-3 weeks of the game I'm sure this entire early access thing will be pretty much forgotten, and two days head start will mean very little in the grand scheme of things months down the road.
  2. It would be extremely silly to not play a game because you weren't the first person in on day one. You lost them because you weren't following the game as closely as many people were... and any game that has ever had early access has had people miss out on names because they got the game at release and not a week earlier. Firstly, there is no way to get to the starter worlds of the opposite faction, so no, you won't get pk'd at 6 by a level 30. In fact, I don't think you even see the opposite faction till mid twenties-early thirties. I highly highly doubt anyone will remember the angst of this first week after they're playing. As it is, a few days of early access isn't going to give anyone a lasting advantage. Someone may hit 50 a few days earlier, they might get a few more pvp commendations, but eventually you will hit 50, and eventually you will buy every pvp piece you need, and at that point, months down the road... the guy getting them 2 days earlier then you isn't going to seem like a big deal.
  3. The idea behind not having a set schedule ahead of time is to allow for more flexibility. This will help the launch go smoother. If they had given everyone a time and date for when their early access would begin, then it'd be set in stone, and they couldn't adjust for issues that arise, or maybe even let people in earlier if things are going very well. This way, if they really really like how its going, they could add another wave, or double the size of the next wave in. I understand the frustration, not knowing annoys me too, but IMO, its for the greater good.
  4. With only 250k ever actually playing at the same time though. I would imagine a much higher % of the people who got in would be playing at once for EGA then just a beta test weekend.
