They could even have it so that the Pilot tanks on the role of a forward facing weapon, as well as some counter measures, Two others in the Group take on Turrets and the fourth person takes on an engineers role, rerouting power to different parts of the ship/sheilds/ running Astro droids for repairs etc. That way we would keep the Tank (pilot) DPS (gunners) and Heals (enginner) roles.
For an Op we could use a Capital Ship have two Pilots (One more Captain, the other more counter measures), 2 enginners (one more Astro Droid the other Power shift/Sheilds) and 2 Turret Gunners (Controlling banks of guns) the last 2 spots could be pilots of fighers, in support of the capital ship (or just more Turret Gunners)
