  1. Just like the famboyism towards rip-offs. Garen Marek was indeed powerful, the people just want to see the game, not the novel per se. Again, even if Darth Vader failed in reveal his full potential, he was 80% of the Most Powerful Sith Lord to EVER live, Darth Sidious. And the former keeps he around because he knew that if Vader could take control over his emotions, he would fulfill his destiny as unlocking his full potential of The Chosen One from within. You forget that in his time, Darth Bane was all that, but millenia have passed, the Jedi Order and the Sith Order turn into something no one could ever imagine, just like that Darth Sidious would become what he are even if Darth Bane failed with the Rule of Two. YOU have to take Darth Vader seriously. He was taught, as a Jedi before, for one of the most powerful Jedi of all Era (and the finest Jedi in lightsaber combat). He made a mix with ALL know forms as Darth Vader (ALL forms, forms that your Darth Bane never know was possible). Darth Sidious, the man who was a beast with lightsaber, was his Master, I have to say more? Lightning? Darth Vader keep upgrading his suit that Lightning could do nothing that he couldn't handle (briging him to his knee, not killing him), see the NOVEL of TFU, not the game, the novel who is more canon than you can ever imagine. Don't think you know Darth Vader, if that was the case, you would know all this. You would know how faster he can be, how strong he could turn alone with his rage, his force powers so pure and lethal against who could try to stand in his way. Darth Bane was more than a match agains the others before him, he was the most powerful, but even him couldn't handle his apprentice, that was the way of the Rule of Two. Darth Vader was more powerful than Darth Maul and Darth Tyrannus before him, just like they already are much more than Darth Bane could imagine. The Sith'ari isn't like The Chosen One. The prophecy says that the Sith'ari would destroy and rebuild the Sith Order in something much more powerful, that he indeed did. Even with Anakin/Vader failing in fulfill his full potential, don't just try to make Sith'ari be like Chosen One in raw of Power. Darth Tyrannus alone is more powerful than you can give him credits for.
  2. It's just that in Star Wars The Rise and Fall of Darth Vader we have: "as the battle wore on, Vader found himself breathing hard through his respirator. But then, thanks to his proximity to the force-crystal he felt a sudden surge of the power of the dark side, allowing him to project lightning from his fingertips for the first time in his life. He hurled Force-energized lightning at Skywalker, but his young opponent deflected the blast." I don't recall reading kinetite in the book, I'll read again (after finishing the trilogy of Bane and Darth Plagueis again). But well, even so, I like the name, know any other who have used Kinetite for me to know more about this?
  3. Against Luke? Was lightning if I recall, with the help of an crystal. In the second novel of The Force Unleashed, I don't recall if he used it (with the help of the storm) against the secret apprentice or if he just used another Force Power.
  4. If you read again, you'll see that I recomend some people to study more about the lore. Novels are here and there, this is good, it's just reading a book or two. Darth Sidious states this, not me (even if I, myself, can't believe that Darth Vader could turn into That, not for him being a Cyborg, but for him being a Sith Lord and not a Jedi, but I know that I'm wrong, as the lore per se states that Darth Vader, if under control of his emotions, indeed could reaweken the full potential within). Darth Malgus was great in HIS time. Know the difference? Vader was around in a time when the Jedi Order were much more powerful than any other before. Malgus, Revan, Bane... The people need to understand that the Jedi Order become much more than anything ever seen, just like the Sith Order under the Rule of Two. The problem with Bane, is that he was the first. We know that he was really right in doing so, that makes things better to the Sith, but even if he did not, well... Palpatine was born, someone who would become a Sith even if the Sith were longer extint. But this is about Malgus, eh? Darth Vader defeated one of the finest duelist of the time, Cin Drallig. He was master of all know forms. Even his student fell to Vader at this time. His master was none other than Grandmaster Yoda and, even with this, even being an extreme powerful duelist in the temple, Darth Vader (epi III, more weak than Vader Epi IV and beyond) still defeat him. Know that we are talking about the freaking time when the Jedi Order become under the protection of the bests Jedi the Galaxy know, know that even if he indeed failed in becoming what both Sidious and Obi-wan wanted, he still become much more powerful than any other before. Again, don't want to believe in me? Fine, just read/see the movie and see what Darth Sidious think about this man you think that Darth Malgus could handle. Know that Darth Vader indeed use Force Lightning (yeah, with help, but he indeed could use it). Know that he was the man who became know as one of (I don't recall if the best) Jedi Killer in history (not Jedi of previous Era, but Jedi of HIS Era). The forms became much more refined, the force powers more pure.. I can go on if you want, but I don't think you'll ever listen. You have the right to disagree, of course, but know that I too have the right to point you this direction, that can show you the point in why Darth Vader would beat Darth Malgus. Remember, 80% of the most powerful Sith Lord of Galactic history is much more than any of them.
  5. The problem is not people that are "so fond" of Vader. The problem are the people who doesn't know much about star wars lore. Many people just see the movies and get conclusion based alone in what they see (or they think they see). Another thing: stop this nonsense about Luke not being properly trained. He was full trained by two of the most powerful and wise Jedi of the Order that have become know for being the most powerful of the time. Luke was the son of the Chosen One, he was so powerful that you could see that he become a Jedi Knight faster than many others, in those Dark Times that the Dark Side was all around. And remember, Darth Vader was full of emotions in the fight: "I feel the conflict within you. Let go of your hate." - Luke The thing is, The Rule of Two was stabilized so that the apprentice will always be more powerful than the master. That alone, makes they most powerful than the generation before them. People always think that video games mechanics are canon (Revan, Exile, Garen Malek/Secret Apprentice doing all those stuffs in the monitor, just like the characters of swtor, besides the cutscenes). We have to understand different factors about Darth Vader, who was said to being most powerful than any Sith before him (By Darth Sidious himself). Many people think that Darth Maul is not All of that, let alone Darh Tyrannus or Asajj Ventress. The thing is, Darth Vader would have become more powerful than Darth Sidious, if he had control over his emotions (he always blamed himself for what he have become, for "killing" his wife and unborn son and what would have beeen). This was the motive why Darth Sidious kept him along, The Emperor believed that Darth Vader could achieve the Full potential of The Chosen One, but saddly, Vader failed in doing so (just like as a Jedi). But some people think that makes him less powerful than others before him. Darth Vader from Dark Age (pos-Epi III) is much more powerful than Darth Vader Epi III. That was not always the case, of course. His emotions wasn't in check, he wasn't in control of his Suit (Sith Alchemy suit, if my memory serves right). But he was adapting with the teachings of his master and by himself. Hell, Vader was kept alive after having all his limbs ript apart and being burn just by his hatred and darkside of the Force. None of you have to believe in me (I know many will never), that is not what I'm trying to do. Just review the lore, see again the movies and feel what in right in front of you, see the novels, see more lore and so on. You guys forget that he failed, but was still more than 80% of the most powerful Sith we ever knew, that was Darth Sidious. I could go again and again, but I'll let this: "Search your feelings, you know it to be true!"
  6. Picture And no, I don't know what could be, maybe the "canon" SW and Smug. Or one of all the sith we see in the academy and one of many smugs, or like many think, they will give quest for theirs side. I don't know yet.
  7. Seriously, I never know when Mace Windu is serious. How is he? I have a bad feeling about this..
  8. He see it.. but was too late.. he was focusing in Sidious, in the end, he see it on Anakin..
  9. I don't see him as the most powerful, neither the Exile, or Garen Malek, or the Secret Apprentice (clone of GM) or.. err... I forget the nome of others nice characters.. Or the 8 heroes of the swtor, or.... (and so, and so..) But I get what you mean, I already see part of that before. For me, who is the most powerful? I don't know, maybe I dislike this thing about most powerful of all (except for Green Lantern in DC. And He isn't my favorite *cof*batman*cof*). I like to see The Chosen One as the most powerful, after all (No, I know world of God says its Luke, I already read most stuffs pos-rotj, for it I say I "like"). So, I tried to stay neutral, seeing through the shadows, but I'm only a human.. and have emotions too.. I already have control of "like", but not of "dislike". EDIT: Kyle Katarn... I don't believe I said Garen Marek/Clone (who you don't "mold") and forgot his name... /facepalm
  10. thats the same..... the Will of the Force in Star Wars isn't the same...... you can just see the point of view of many writers.. so my answers remains the same. Yeah, the writes are a part of the ones who decides, but above them, hah.. who knows who puts the strings right now?
  11. No, that isn't the case. You can do what you think is right or nice. But that doesn't make this true or really ok. Why? Cause what we say'll never been always the truth or something right. My side is my own, its a history, how can I take side with a character? or go against it? Sorry, but this would be sad. And this never was the Will of the Force, you know that, I really hope so.. this was the Will of the creators of many history in star wars. Because I always seems the Will of the Force asking for something different, when its from writer A or B or C or fan or whatever.
  12. See what I mean? When I say that she do it? That happens to her, when she uses this things (I can't call that drugs, I don't remember). But with Anakin was different (with Luke, not so much, but hey, as I said, I like it more with only the Chosen One. doesn't matter to me in what story comes first). Again, you do again. You states that I'm here suporting Revan against them. Why I have to do it? I don't want to make you see it, I see it in other way too, so why bring it here? I really want to understand before I can make assumptions, cuz I'm not like that (only when joking, but I'm tired) nor do I like people like that.
  13. You forget that....... Barriss Offee use, in the two cases......... something that amp. her connection with the force.. Amp, you get what I mean? Amp her connection to the force... If you have a high connection to the force, this could happen, that's why The Chosen One could do this "so well". The problem with Oneness is that I liked when only Anakin (Luke, in the C-Canon) could do it, was something with this bloodline. Now, everyone can do it if s/he have enough connection to the force. I could do multiple things, but I'm tired.. so I'll say only that: the problem is that everyone wants to be right, doesn't matter, we just have to read all the posts and see that. No one wants to be wrond, hell... this happened before in all our history. But guys, this doesn't make no one right or wrong. Everyone has the right to have a point of view. If world of God (or the Force, or the entity of universe, or call whatever is from the "universe" in discuss, in this case, the Creator) goes as law, so that's it. But in this case, I never see it, I see he say many times something, then he goes back to what he said... And people just assume that True, is what feels nice to her.. I say it before, I'm wrong, but I accept it as part of myself, because I know that I'm not the One who can claims what is right or wrong, so I goes with the last. Everyones wants the best that suits himself, others wants the best to all the others, others wants the worse.. who is right? I don't know, no one knows, only the creator (or creators/engineers of the universe) could know. And, until now, I'm not the One.
  14. Peace is a lie... Seriously.. I don't know, pretty much I like it. Well, I already think that way a long time ago, through..
  15. Yep, pages 284-285. You can check right here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0345529413/ref=s9_newr_gw_d37_g14_ir05?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-4&pf_rd_r=02D9YSN7MECMCPWJHJW6&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470939031&pf_rd_i=507846 And sorry, it's THE Jace and I say Jacen (Solo... hahah, sorry) and Jaice sometimes.
  16. I don't know, but I think it's Jace. Why? Annihilation: (Star Wars The Old Republic) [As everyone rose to leave, Jace said, "Grand Master Satele, can you stay a moment?" Gnost-Dural and the Director left quickly, closing the door behind them without being asked. "You aren't the only one who was hoping Theron would be here," Satele said once they were alone. "Is it that obvious?" He asked, coming out from behind his desk to try to pace out some of his frustration. "It is to me," Satele said, standing motionless as she watched him go back and forth. "But I can understand why he wouldn't be in the mood for a family reunion." "Do you think he still blames me?" "You did the right thing. You brought the fleet to Duro." "Does that make up for letting the Empire attack Ruan?" "We can't always fix our mistakes," she told him. "We can only learn from them." Jace frowned--as usual, he didn't find the typical Jedi wisdom particularly helpful. He stopped pacing and turned to Satele, standing right in front of her. "How do I make this right?" Satele shook her head. "You know him as well as I do." "That's the problem," he said. "I want to get to know him better." "Then wait for him to come to you," she said. "That doesn't seem to be working too well for you," Jace pointed out. "The circumstances of your relationship with our son are different from mine," Satele noted, and Jace sensed a deep regret behind her words.] Sorry, I only got here in the Amazon "preview" of the book. So, that's it, Jace + Satele = Theron.
  17. Like always have been, yesterday, today and tomorrow, imo.
  18. My thoughts as well. I really like the point 1 and 3. But, sadly... I'm thinking in the possibilities of they making the point 2... all we can (and have) to do is wait. In the end, it's Star Wars back, its something awesome that can't be said in words! Let's hope!
  19. Plus: ""It's an original story," a LucasFilm source tells me. In other words, forget the Star Wars novels. Forget the graphic novels. Forget everything you think you know about what happens to Luke Skywalker. According to my sources, Episode 7 will literally be nothing you've ever seen or read before from the Star Wars universe. Source = E Online Article" If this is really how this is goin'... well... what is canon?
  20. I still don't know what to think.. is too soon... all is to new.. waiting for the better, I guess.
  21. The same goes for me, my friend, the same goes for me..
  22. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
  23. You are Luke Skywalker You value your friends and loved ones, but can sometimes act recklessly because of your emotions. Occasionally you resort to whining. You look ahead to great things for yourself.
