  1. You probably have awful positioning. I rarely get targeted.
  2. Willpower, power, force power and expertise all affect Force Armor. The spell is treated like any other healing spell. You can confirm this in a Huttball match by using Force Armor and walking into the fire. The game will reward you with the 2,500 healing medal for doing this, because the Force Armor is instantly healing through the 3,000 damage from the fire.
  3. The class is the only class with a healing debuff. That makes them the single most important class in the game. The end.
  4. Nope. The limit is two times. A lot of classes, like Scoundrel and Operative, have mechanics that let them only CC someone only once. Every post about resolve is confirming that everyone who complains about it either lacks the situational awareness to pay attention to resolve bars or simply does not know how resolve works. I am beginning to think that most of these people are also the kind of people who spam CC into a white resolve bar and then think the "Immune" message that pops up is the game being broken.
  5. I think there is a middle ground here. Bioware could make a much more robust LFG tool that lets players select roles and what they want to do, but make it so it's not an automatic queue without any socializing whatsoever. Basically, a DPS player interested in The False Emperor would select the DPS role, select The False Emperor, and perhaps put a comment stating his gear. Then the DPS could scroll through a list of other people looking for a group and have a chance of getting messaged by someone else looking through the tool. It's simply a more robust version of the LFG tool already in the game, but I think it would tame a lot of the current forum rage.
  6. Because Bioware has repeatedly said it's not a priority or even an interest. The developers would rather encourage methods of grouping that encourage socializing.
  7. We had only one Soa attempt today that wasn't bugged, and coincidentally it was our kill. I know my guild could have done the fight better to get around the bugs, but it's kind of ridiculous that out of nine wipes only one wasn't almost entirely caused by bugs.
  8. This happens all the damn time on The Fatman. Sometimes it happens for literally hours. I've had friends from other servers complain about the issue too. Is there any ETA on this getting fixed? It's a ridiculously annoying problem.

    Medpacs in pvp...

Chances are this will be fixed in a future patch.

    Medpacs in pvp...

Oh, you're complaining they're reusable. Yeah, they need to give other crew skills stat bonuses and whatnot to make up for the fact biochem and cybertech get a bunch of stuff.

    Medpacs in pvp...

My Rakata Medpac seems to share a cooldown with the medpacs from a vendor. Am I missing something? Which medpacs don't share a cooldown?
  12. I meant skilled PVPers, like multi-gladiators from WOW. Someone having "experience" usually means someone who zerged people down in Rift or WAR all day, and that's not meaningful.
  13. This is not possible unless you not spending Centurion Commendations.
  14. Show me the video. You're making the claim; you give me the proof. So far my experience has been that the bad, ignorant players tend to think the system is broken while the top PVPers think the system is fine or really like it.
  15. Nope. This has never happened to you. You either don't understand the system or you lack situational awareness.
  16. It's not broken for anyone. A lot of people lack situational awareness and/or don't understand the system.
  17. No, stuns are a lot worse. Also, melee would actually lose mobility if roots were put on resolve bar.
  18. So basically people lined up into two lines and spammed DPS and heals at each other? That sounds really boring. No thanks.
  19. CCs in WOW don't even have cooldowns a lot of the time. People managed. It's fine. You can't be CCed for longer than 40 percent of the time assuming an entire team is chaining CC on you, and there are plenty of counters to the CCs outside of the CC break, like dispels, positioning, and more CC.
  20. No, it doesn't. The bar will not start emptying until you drop out of the CC. It is mathematically impossible for that to happen.
  21. Did you guys play WOW? You must have had heart attacks with the CC chains that could be pulled off in that game, especially since burst damage was a lot higher. Resolve is perfectly fine. You're supposed to be CCed sometimes. It can be frustrating, but it adds depth and skill to the game.
  22. Resolve is fine. You guys are just bad and/or don't understand the system. Here is an explanation that might help a bit:
  23. A guy named Viv on my server only loses to me as far as damage meters go. He's a Sentinel. Also, Sentinel is the only class in the game with a healing debuff. That alone makes it the single most important class in any form of organized PVP.
  24. I'm valor rank 60. I've been in that kind of guild before and it's not fun. They ruin everything, especially the world PVP. Eventually everyone just empties out because they realize the massive zerg isn't worth dealing with. The good news is these guilds are typically unsustainable because, as I said, the guild eventually complains that the server or opposite faction isn't "up to the challenge" or some other nonsense, even though the problem is really the type of guild.
