Stay at home dad that takes care of his daughter whom has cerebral palsy
  1. I am a 55 year old divorcee, with kids, and I started dating a lady that is 48, and has kids. It is not out of the question. Her kids do not call me dad and neither would I expect them to...
  2. How about a Voss companion? I would love to have them as a playable race but I understand why that wont work. Also, Sons of Palawa armor set! PLEASE!
  3. Just moved to this server from Begeren Colony and I have characters on both sides. I have a 54 Jedi Shadow, 60 Jedi Sentinel, 50 Commando, 26 Gunslinger, 41 Mercenary, 23 Sith Assassin, 31 Sniper and a 56 Sith Marauder. I'm fairly social and would prefer a guild where I have the same people to play with on both Pub and Imp side of the game. I'm working on leveling all characters to get the Legendary achievement. Thanks in advance for considering me. Randy Elu'namor - 54 Jedi Shadow Riddick'namor - 56 Sith Marauder Oh and all my Imps are Light Side characters
  4. Right there with ya man! Where's the love for the peeps in Seattle!
  5. I'm disappointed. Its one of the few events I was looking forward to at PAX this year. Sigh!
  6. I know this is probably been kicked around already but on our server, Vrook Lamar, its getting bad enough that people are leaving for higher population servers. We are losing people it seems almost daily and while some complain about content, being bored, etc. one of the biggest complaints is finding enough people to do those end game raids. I play Republic and Imperial sides and I think I know just about everyone on this server, I think I had more people in my high school then there are currently on the entire server. At any rate, merging the two West Coast RP servers would certainly help our problem. I don't know what the other one is like but I certainly do not want to convince my guild to hop servers and start over.
  7. I just wonder why anyone would race to 50 knowing that the game is brand new and it might be a few months or more before there is any new content. There are bugs that need to be fixed before content is added and that should be a greater short term priority. Now I will probably hit 50 with my first character in a couple of weeks but I plan to play Sith (currently playing Republic) and try different classes as well. They way I plan to pace myself I'm sure there will be more content added to the game.
  8. If there is I wish someone would point it out.
  9. Actually rule #1 is that the customer is always right. I don't agree with that but when you want to make sure that your customers continue for return business you bend over backwards to appease them. Now, in an mmo where there are literally millions of people as customers you accept that you cant appease everyone. You do your best and hope that the majority of the clients are taken care of so they spread the word to their friends that this is a great product. With that in mind your customer service should still look into legitimate claims when it comes to client complaints. Just saying "I want into the game now" is not a legitimate complaint. You were promised early access and making it relevant to your pre-order date is fair for everyone. If, however, there are people in the game that pre-ordered after you then I think you have a valid complaint and your voice should be heard. Of course I do fall into this status so I am a bit biased. I'm not going to throw a fit though, I'll just keep an eye on my email and measure the depth of how much my furrowed brow deepens as they days go by with out my early access email. /crosses his fingers and hopes for tomorrow
  10. I double checked my account because you mentioned this and I did enter it on July 31st. So for me that isn't it. If it had been I would have really been kicking myself.
  11. I'm really confused. According to your post I should be in already. I per-ordered and entered my code July 31st. So did some of us just fall through the cracks? And yes, I have checked my junk mail, I've done a word search for things like "early" "game" "star wars" and "old republic". So its not hidden in my emails.
  12. I pre-ordered and submitted my code on 7/31 and I still have not received an early invite. I'm a fairly patient person and I can wait five more days or whatever. Still, its disappointing to see so many people get their early release before me when they purchased the product at a later date.
