  1. Hmm, I was stuck dealing with this little debacle today myself. While it may not work for everybody, what fixed the 'Launcher Loop' for myself was simply going into Task Manager and ending ('End Task') the SWTOR APP / Process. From there, I rebooted the Launcher and it immediately 'looked for updates' for a second or two before allowing me to Sign-In. Err, pretty straightforward... but again, it might not happen for everyone. Best of luck to anyone looking to fix this issue.
  2. Thanks for the reply, it's much appreciated. I look forward to seeing this fix get implemented in the coming days. Take Care.
  3. After recently tinkering around with my various Flair collection in the 'Character Sheet' section, I noticed that the 'Sign of Carnage' Flair isn't activating / showing-up after clicking on it. I'm assuming this a recent problem / bug since I recall using this particular Flair without any issues over the last few months. Thankfully, the other remaining Flairs seem to be working just fine. Also, it seems this Carnage Flair has apparently vanished as a direct sale from the Cartel Market, so I'm wondering if there's any correlation between the CM omission and the bug that exists? Anyhow, I just wanted to provide a heads-up with this current debacle, and if anyone looks into this matter, it would be much appreciated.
  4. No need for the blasphemy. Anyhow, Dantooine should be a welcomed addition to the planet / event roster and I'm definitely looking forward to this new content no doubt. Hmmm, this should be reminiscent of the KOTOR days a bit.
  5. You can always save your Interface (GUI State) and its subsequent settings by searching through the local 'AppData' folder. The aforementioned file(s) location is in fact hidden by default, so you'll first need to click on... Tools > Folder Options > View > Show Hidden Files. From there, click... User > AppData > Local > SWTOR > swtor > settings... and then it should give an overall list of GUI Profiles / States.
  6. Interesting Indeed. Personally, I would find that leveling-up in such a hasty manner would only detract from the enjoyment of something called "gradual progress".
  7. Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately, the Golden Certificates can only be won while the 'Nightlife Event' is active. So yeah, looks as if next summer would be the only prospect for now.
  8. Ahh... gotchya. Thanks for the insight fellas. Last night I experimented by sending my Consular both a 'Gambler's Party Floor' deco and those Golden Certificates through the in-game mailbox and everything went through as normal - so, I was under the assumption that they could be transferred to any character / player. Err, I suppose the whole 'Bound to Legacy' restriction for these Nightlife items are MORE BOUND than initially predicted. In that case, sorry OP.... your best bet would be to merely wait patiently until next summer's event. That is, unless someone else has a definite "work-around" for this little debacle. Well, you could always visit other people's Strongholds on the ‘Public Listing’ whenever having that desire to cut-the-rug on the 'Gambler's Party Floor'. Personally, I'm STILL convinced that the Nightlife Event should just remain active year-round to supplement more "life / action / something to do" in the Casinos and The Promenade Barges. Granted, I understand that this 'Soovada’ is an annual event thrown by the Hutts, so it naturally stays more in-tune with Star Wars Lore or whatever. Nonetheless, would it really be that much of an inconvenience to simply make the Nightlife Event a permanent fixture on Nar Shaddaa?
  9. Sorry to hear that you weren't able to partake in the 'Nightlife Event' these last few years - that's a darn shame I tell ya. At any rate, the 'Gambler's Party Floor' can still be obtained - but, the options to do so are fairly limited. First off, each respective casino still have available vendor(s) who sell this item, even though the Nightlife Event is only poppin' off during the summer months. For example, the Star Cluster / Imperial Faction has a vendor in the foyer named 'Kitt Corca'... and the Club Vertica / Republic Faction has a vendor named 'Shakfa Flufm' who both carry the 'Gambler's Floor’ deco (which is 'Bound to Legacy') for 4 Golden Certificates. Anyhow, these certificates were dropped / collected through slot machine play when the Nightlife Event was active and they're also 'Bound to Legacy'. Unfortunately, these particular decorations cannot be sold / procured through GTN means, and the Cartel Market itself never actually carried them - even during the last big 'CM Sale' we saw recently. Whatever the case may be (if you’re interested of course?), I could possibly mail your character either an extra 'Gambler's Floor' deco that's been stashed-in my Legacy Bay or even send a few unused Golden Certificates so you could visit a vendor. Perhaps we'll chat further on this matter. Take Care.
  10. Congrats. Quick question though... So did you manage to unlock ALL of the available in-game Armor Sets from your 'Collections' (EVERY set in SWTOR), or perhaps, you just unlocked 100 percent of the sets YOU'VE acquired over time? In other words, do you really have every Armor Set that was released - err, the ones that made it into Collections anyhow? Either way, that's mighty impressive and shows dedication.
  11. Well, I suppose a player can "benefit" by accumulating some sweet Cartel Market / GTN Items along the way and also pimp-out multiple Strongholds in the process by earning / spending those in-game credits. However, there's not much "story-line wise" to be enticed by, when merely going for the money over light / dark side choices.
  12. Yep, I've also been experiencing this little ordeal myself lately - so you fine folks aren't alone. Anyhow, I'm not exactly certain what causes this issue, but like the poster above previously mentioned, changing characters (and then back) seems to be a relatively simple fix.
  13. Nice. I'm also a big aficionado of the 'Havoc Squad Armor' myself, (and although a bit pricey) it's one of the better looking armor sets in the game. Anyhow, I've had its respective Helmet and Greaves lying dormant inside my Cargo Bay for quite some time (a few years in fact), in an effort to (hopefully) complete the Set once my character had enough moola to afford the remaining pieces on GTN. Whatever the case may be, this current Cartel Market Direct Sale has finally allowed me to simply grab the entire Set outright without the needless hassle of contending with GTN's catastrophic inflation rate. Perhaps now I can merely sell those other two pieces, churn out a FEW million, and free-up some much-needed space in my Legacy Bay to boot. In regards to other CM purchases during this Direct Sale, I also managed to acquire the 'Mandalorian Flair' and the 'Mawvorr Companion'. With the handful of Cartel Coins left-over, I’m thinkin' that 'Resolute Guerrilla's Blaster' could be a potentially formidable armament in my Merc's hands. All in all, this robust 2 Week Sale has been a rather worthwhile opportunity and one of the finest CM specials to make its rounds.
  14. I also wanted to add a quick post in regards to this current persisting Forum Issue. It seems the 'Avatar Selection Page' under 'Forum Management' is still somewhat broken, buggy, and disheveled. It would be much appreciated if someone would take a gander at this and hopefully provide a fix in the upcoming days. My Darth Malgus Avatar is nice and all, but I prefer to swap these pics out randomly from time-to-time.
  15. Let's see, the last noteworthy item I acquired from the Cartel Market was back in February when the 'Gatekeeper Stronghold Packs / Hypercrates' resurfaced during the weekly sale. For a reasonably priced 3240 Cartel Coins, this Hypercrate unquestionably provides the VERY BEST in stronghold decorations - as I've yet to find another respective Cartel Pack to match the quality / quantity of those included decos. Whatever the case may be, I still occasionally scoop-up little acquisitions as well with my monthly subscription stipend. For example, the 'Rangehunter Blaster Pistol' was a rather satisfactory find for only a few hundred CC's. Anyhow, I'm presently eyeing the overabundance of Weapon Tuning Enhancements being touted this week, since I've yet to add the brazen 'Strap Tuning' to my ever-expanding collection. Granted, I've been informed that the Strap is quite possibly the worst of the bunch, but I still kinda' like it nonetheless.
  16. I ran into this little debacle myself these last few days (and at least once prior over the years), and found this link to be of help... https://answers.ea.com/t5/Troubleshooting-Guides-Info/Guide-Unspecified-Error/m-p/5881847#M21 I believe it's the same link as the guy above me. This fixed my log-in problem yesterday... - Open-up 'Task Manager' and then find 'Processes' - From there, just 'End Process' on anything that says 'BitRaider'
  17. Glad to see another SWTOR gamer returning after a hiatus. Anyhow, one good thing about this title (as you've previously mentioned), is that just about any modern PC can (at the very least) "run" the game pretty darn well... including most Laptops, etc. Needless to say, most Desktops should fare even better and you definitely don't need to spend a fortune to ultimately maximize your SWTOR experience. Whatever the case may be, the specs in your son's PC is more than sufficient to play this game at "mostly high" settings (I suppose) and there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to find another Tower (with similar cahones) for around the same price... give-or-take. Heck, just try Ebay on for size and you can unquestionably find another gaming setup in the $500-$600 dollar range with roughly those specs - even better in some cases. A few summers ago, I snagged a Gaming Tower from some (thankfully reputable) Ebay Seller for nearly $500 Bones and I've been playing SWTOR with “most” settings maxxed-out. Needless to say, I do keep the following either turned-off / unchecked or dialed-down quite a bit - Vertical Sync, Anti-Aliasing, Enhanced Shadows, Shadow Map Cascades, Shadow Map Resolution, and maybe Visible Character Limit. My Shadow Quality is still on High and these other aforementioned Shadow "details" are hardly noticeable by the naked eye once the action ensues. Besides, they seem to bog things down a fair amount anyhow. Otherwise, everything else is cranked-up and I still get extremely solid gaming footage overall. Here are my current specs... Windows 7 Professional (64bit) AMD A10 7860K - 12 Compute Cores 4C+8G 3.6Ghz Quad Core Processor (4.0Ghz if over-clocked) 16GB DDR3 Dual Channel Ram 2TB SATA Hard Drive Radeon R7 Graphics - Best of luck to ya in your quest for the right SWTOR PC.
  18. Hopefully the following link / pic should help ya... https://dreamingeisha.deviantart.com/art/SWTOR-Story-Progression-Planets-and-Flashpoints-418077574
  19. Agreed. The Wraith even utilizes the "Flourish" feature that only select mounts have equipped. Those Golden Certificates (you speak of?) seem to drop fairly often from the Kingpin Slots. Heck, I've even won about 4-5 within 30 minutes (or so) through the Smuggler's Luck Slots. Like yourself, I'm still after more of the exclusive Nightlife Decorations to ultimately pimp-out each Stronghold with. I reckon the Gamber's Party Floor alone is worth the price of admission.
  20. I also appreciate this info, thanks for the update. As a HUGE Nightlife fan myself, I was hoping this summer event would run through at least "most" of August. Last night on the Promenade, I won two Vectron BWL Wraiths from the same slot machine within minutes of each other - err, if only my capture card was rolling at the time. Whatever the case may be, at least all my playable toons should have a new mount with these respective prizes being Legacy Bound. Now, I just need to try winning another Gamorrean for my Consular. Honestly, my Gammorean Companion hasn't left my Merc's side since winning the Jackpot that first week or two.
  21. Agreed. Even though it would be great to see the devs breath some "new life" into the VIP Lounge, resources are probably better spent elsewhere at this point in time. Anyhow, it's nice that gamers still care enough about these various (and possibly somewhat obscure) areas / issues within SWTOR. Even though the VIP Lounges on each respective Fleet haven't essentially offered anything new in years, they shouldn't be overlooked or even abandoned by any means - err, even if these congregating locales have become a veritable ghost-town most days. Don't get me wrong, I still continue to patronize the VIP Lounge(s) whenever visiting the Fleet(s), and I (thankfully) still see a reasonable amount of people utilizing the facilities (especially the GTN Kiosk). Sadly however, the lack of "new content" from the vendors and such, ultimately deter folk from caring about the exclusivity of the VIP Lounge itself. Personally, I find this section to be a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the Fleet. Sheesh, ever try a little wheelin' and dealin' on the GTN during peak hours?
  22. Fantastic news... THANKS A BUNCH for the confirmation! I wasn't certain if the devs were going to find a way to up-the-count of "active strongholds" because of potential limitations within SWTOR. Anyhow, this new stronghold definitely looks like a certifiable crowd pleaser. After all, Manaan is such a tranquil, peaceful place to visit - err, even if there's not much happening outside of that 'Depths of Manaan' Flashpoint.
  23. Sorry if this has already been asked, but will there be any way to have all 6 Strongholds "active" at the same time? Anyhow, I'm currently rocking Nar Shaddaa, Dromund Kaas, Tatooine, Coruscant, and Yavin - but would definitely like to dabble with the upcoming Manaan stronghold as well. Does this mean I'll have to "deactivate" my Yavin estate (for example) before testing Manaan? Thanks for any responses.
  24. Yep, I noticed the queue on Jedi Covenant. Is anyone else's mailbox messages not showing-up? Anyhow, thanks devs for looking into this matter.
