  1. Also in defending VS and NC you watch your gate and when it's about to come down you /stuck and run straight back to the fight. Can get on the other side of the fire to intercept an enemy ball carrier in HB. Full health, full Force/Energy/whatever, can restealth, etc, etc... Lot of power in being able to take yourself out of combat.
  2. 10K? lol my main alone has well over 50k kills and I've got 12 characters at Valor 60 or higher. This game has been out for nearly two years now. I very seriously doubt they forgot because what would be the fun in logging in only to have every achievement instantly complete? In a year Manhunters will be everywhere but right now it's still actually rare.
  3. I can sympathize. Pugging HM LI post 2.0. We had just wiped once because the healer wanted to click pillars. Running back I stopped a little short (i.e. still on the bridge) and didn't realize it. Looked up to say something to my wife and sure enough the Guardian tank Force Leaps without a ready check. Turn back to the screen at the sound of battle music only to see my character falling to his ignominious death. Wipe two, tank out. Time to requeue.
  4. No hacks here they're just using Phase Walk. As a Shadow/Assassin in any round after the first you can Phase Walk, Force Speed, and have the pylon capped before any other AC but an Op/Scoundrel has a chance to get there.

Started out winning in NC only to lose South when on of our teammates starts trash talking the team about how much everyone else sucks and he's going to sit on defense on West and farm medals because we're not worthy of his efforts. At about 10% us, 30% them we actually manage to win South back...only to lose West a few seconds later because the above hero had gone afk. On my Shadow I queue into a CW where our opponents have both sides. I head straight for Snow and manage to take it against 2 enemies and successfully defend it twice only to watch mid somehow get capped a minute or two later while all 7 of my teammates are alive and fighting around it. I don't understand.
  6. A Sniper will never see a good Shadow/Assassin coming. If I can't come from behind you I'll simply Force Speed -> Spinning Kick. You'll see me for sure but too late to do anything about it. Hell Force Speed and strafe are so good I can usually catch people standing in Stealth Scan. 700+ WZ's on my Shadow since 2.0 dropped and as far as I'm concerned Spotter is useless for anything but picking me out stealthing through a scrum when I'm not paying attention to you. Sitting in the corner of the bunker in Novare like a lot of baddie Snipers like to do thinking their going to spot me simply means you have nowhere to roll and Cover Pulse won't knock me back because I'll have my back against the wall.
  7. I see this all the time on my Shadow coming around back to attack a healer while a sniper is literally sitting within melee range. All the Sniper would have to do is hit Debilitate...but nope gotta have that tunnel vision. People in the 55 bracket who leave immediately when the other team scores/two caps. Pulling the WZ around and /whispering is the best revenge.
  8. And Assassin/Shadows can taunt...I put out about 100K protection a match easily. Those taunts are also instant, cost no Force, and are subtle, try standing around casting un-talented 3-second heals in Ranked and see where that gets you. As for the roll if you're running ranked you've already got one or more Medicine Ops who are better equipped for surviving things that need rolling like grabbing or running with the Huttball. While the person behind the keyboard certainly makes a difference from a numbers standpoint DPS Ops are liabilities in Ranked plain and simple.
  9. If I see 3 cross-healers at a mid or south scrum I do just enough damage and harrass them enough to keep them focused on me and healing themselves so they are not contributing to the fight. You don't necessarily need to kill a character to take them out of the fight. And 1 for 3 is a good deal.
  10. A Shadow/Assassin or Scoundrel/Operative should be on the ball and ooc CC'ing the healer running back to keep them out of the fight for 16 seconds. Or whomever on your team can chain the most CC if those two aren't available. Once their resolve is full if you need more time, use roots. The same way you take a side node in CW. This is Stun Wars after all.
  11. Unless your trinket is available you'll be CC'd the entire time. It's worked over and over in the 500 or so WZ's my Shadow has done since 2.0 dropped. If your trinket was available and you Entrench I'll just vanish and come back in 20 seconds.
  12. Spinning Kick -> Force Potency -> Shadow Strike -> Low Slash -> Mind Crush -> Force Stun -> Force Breach -> Project -> 2 x Double Strike if Shadow Strike didn't crit -> Spinning Strike -> Dead. Use CC in that order cause Force Stun will cap Resolve, Sniper stays CC'd the entire time. If they have their trinket available you may have to take one or two to the face, no big deal. If they manage to Entrench after trinket then LoS to force a move, vanish and wait them out, or find an easier target. Edit: Even an Entrenched Sniper isn't that hard Assassins/Shadows can simply do more instant burst, you just have to waste CC to proc Infiltration Tactics and so on.
  13. For all the people crying about this ability in beta I've yet to have a Sniper get the drop on my Shadow. Full stack of 30, backed into a corner, whatever...there is always a crease and I will find it. Using the full 4 meters range of melee attacks is just as important as coming from behind. Baddie stealths think they need to be humping your leg before they spring the trap. Strafing in with Force Speed is also pretty much too fast for people to reliably react to.
  14. Yeah the tried and true method of baddies forgetting you exist just because you break LoS. Just because an opponent is the closest in proximity doesn't mean they are the biggest threat. Cat and mouse with good Sorc's is some of the best fun on my Shadow. Gotta crack that Force egg to get to the deliciousness inside.
  15. So it isn't just me. I started keeping track tonight cause I thought I was going crazy. 31 WZ's today and 18 of them were Novare. Another 6 were CW. 4 Huttballs, 2 AH, and one lonely VS wrap it up. Nights have pretty much been like that since 2.0 dropped. The least it could do is get stuck on Huttball.
  16. What are you the fun police? Calm down your getting spittle on your fedora. No Mercs don't belong in RWZ but they definitely got better in 2.0. Sometimes it's just fun to shoot missiles like a psychopath and top the damage charts doing it. The only builds truly underpowered in PvP are the ones that use the A, S, and D keys.
  17. Yes! Give the greatest WZ back it's uniqueness and make it truly neutral by mixing pubs and imps on the same teams. Would making new maps even be that hard? Seems like one lone designer could produce several in a day's work.
  18. To add a few: Nobody capping. You have 3 or more people killing one last enemy and nobody is trying to cap, waiting until that one enemy is dead giving plenty of time for reinforcements to arrive. Bonus stupid points if its NC. Everybody capping. If you see me capping in any WZ but NC don't run up and start capping as well, use some CC and intercept reinforcements. Seeing 4 people all capping makes me very angry. And stealthers sitting in stealth not contributing, i.e. "Hey guys stealthed in endzone, go pit and pass to me" when we don't control mid syndrome. Bonus stupid points if they yell this out after each time our opponents score.
  19. You're pretty much playing the most OP PvP class in the game (my main is a BiS Carnage Marauder) so you're probably not going to get much sympathy when there are classes with real problems that grinding gear for 2 weeks won't fix.
  20. Lol are you the Republic player that was spamming general a few nights ago in Civil War talking about how you were taking names and reporting people? That was funny. If so don't blame hacks when your team lost 600-0 because our 3 healers were completely ignored. Been on Harbinger since the first day, got 4 Imps and 3 Republic chars all over valor 60 and have never seen a hack.
  21. Please add backpedaling and 2+ people beating on a DPS while a healer stands to the side untouched to this list. Thanks in advance.
  22. I should get Cartel Coins for putting up with all the baddies in PvP today. Don't know if it's the F2P or school being out or what but they're infesting both pre and post-50 today.
  23. Yeah! Another area to farm Daily Comms because that's definitely the bottleneck in post-50 PvE gearing. Maybe in 1.6 they'll add more Tionese crystals to loot tables as well. It's definitely a time versus reward issue once you've ran the place a few times. If Bioware wants to add more Daily Comm rewards they need to add better gear to the Daily vendors besides crappy side-grade relics. I've already got multiple 50's sitting on thousands of Daily Comms I need more non-Op sources of BH comms.
