  1. There's no way they would have scaled the gear and credits to level 55 standards when they have anything from 15+ going in there. They would be getting gear that they can't use forever and getting super rich for their level, both of which I am sure bioware wants to avoid. It's clear this was meant as another rep grind/reward system which 55s can enjoy and as a quick way to level alts up (especially for dps since the queue times are much quicker). To which they achieved what they desired. Chill. Out. More.
  2. Yes, it happens all the time. Especially the knock back which is super annoying.
  3. Ah the internet, "you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy". People can just be weird some times, I wouldn't give it a second thought.
  4. GSF seems pretty popular on The Harbinger too. Queues take maybe 2 minutes almost every time I have tried, and mostly everyone I hear talking about it seems to like it. Sounds like it just wasn't your cup of tea, which is fine.
  5. Yes, these things were addressed in the very thing you quoted. The second part of your response contradicts the first and since it circumvents the time sink already I don't see a reason to not make it easier to do by allowing the alts to directly purchase them. Again though...that was all in the thing you quoted.
  6. Both of them are technological advances created for the simplification of otherwise more taxing processes. Can't believe that actually needed to be said, come on keep up.
  7. I don't think this one makes any sense. First, if the comms are for buying gear for an alt then what's the problem with making them accessible on said alt? No clue what these shortages are that you're talking about, but people are already moving the modifications via BoL items and mailing them which is just a round about way of accomplishing what I suggested. Just because we have the ability to do something by jumping through a bunch of extra hoops does not mean there shouldn't be any innovation and simplification. By your logic we would never had invented cars because we can already get there by walking. Let's stop being silly people.
  8. I'm all for it...but then they wouldn't be able to release recolored vehicles as new items.
  9. I think the current model for subscriptions/subscription cards is fine the way it is. In it's current form you get to play as much as your heart desires for the specific time. In your version people who play the game frequently would burn through game time and wind up paying a lot more.
  10. Totally appreciate your extremely valuable input. Nothing in here is about saving money except the vanity items thing. Everything else is simply a time saving tool.
  11. Good feedback guys. However, I'm seeing a lot of people shooting down some of the ideas because we have option X which is far less elegant than what I'm proposing. Yes, we have a mail box. That, however, is not the point. The point would be to make it vastly easier to, at a glance, see how many credits you have on this server and reduced the need to find a mail box, compose the message, log out, log back in (accounting for the load time for whatever corner of the galaxy you left your alt), and then again find a mail box to pick it up. Talk about a needless waste of time. Yes, we have BoL equipment. Doesn't that seem like a needlessly round about way to accomplish such a simple task? With the system I proposed it would make life a lot better. I will agree with the inflation from the crew skill change, maybe that wont be a good change over all. Still, something to think about I guess. On the responses to sharing comms. Why would anyone truly care, from a player perspective, if you get to gear out your alts faster? The core idea behind it is that you have already put your time into at least one character to gather the comms in the first place. Why should the user have to grind even more gear just to get another character up and running while on your main your comms just sit there to rot? Seems horribly inefficient to me. It's not like you won't know how to play your class, you still had to grind up to 55 so you presumably know how the class works. From a designer perspective I fully understand that you want your game to have time sinks to keep people on board, but from a player perspective I think the right to do that has been earned. I think a good compromise is to maybe restrict the top tier comms from being shared so that way they can get geared out easier but the player will still have to grind out the max level items. As far as collections go...yea...paying CCs is obviously their intent and I guess I don't have a specific argument against that other than I just don't want to waste my CCs on unlocking something I have already unlocked. So, in essence I will let that one go, because I suppose if I really wanted it I should pony up the dough and deal. Still would be nice to have access to the vanity items with out the additional cost, but again I will bow before the lords of micro transactions and leave it be. I guess the idea here is simplification of processes that are basically just unwieldy work arounds at the moment.
  12. If this is your first MMO then I guess lack of foresight is forgivable but if you have ever played an MMO before, especially if you healed in one, then you should have known what you were getting into by taking on a role as vital as healing. There are going to be bad groups...that's just how it goes. Don't pug if you have problems with dealing with bad people/players or shrug it off as just bad luck of the draw and keep moving.
  13. Is there a reason you need a physical key over the iPhone/Android app? I mean, if you don't have a reason for specifically needing the physical key chain device then the apps are free and easy to get through the respective online market.
  14. The problem with this is that HDD access times and transfer rates are way worse on something running through USB as opposed to a SATA connection. Now, that's not to say that it's not possible. However, the performance you get may vary wildly and even make the game unplayable at times because the HDD might become unresponsive or take too long to load assets. You do not need anything local to the machine to play, it should run right off the HDD. Give it a shot and see if it works for you.
  15. Always thought this is how it should have been. Different stances should look very different when fighting.
  16. Not to mention, dual wielding two saberstaves would look terrible and silly.
  17. For a game about alts there is a surprising lack of synergy between them. I propose the following: 1. Shared credit pool. 2. Shared Cargo Hold with a different tab for each alt. 3. Ability to queue all your crew skills from all your characters from the character you are on. 4. Shared Comms between all characters with an increased limit on the number of comms you can have of a single type. 5. Shared Vehicles. 6. Shared Pets Why some of this stuff wasn't in there to begin with I will never know, but these would be huge QoL improvements.
  18. Did you really need two separate posts to convey that you're sad about there not being a new crystal?
  19. Based on your post I don't think that an MMO is your type of game. All MMOs have these types of issues associated with them, but fret not there are many single player games out there for you to enjoy.
  20. It's ok, you're still new to game. You can be forgiven for being incorrect.
  21. Shadows can be played as Melee dps, they can not take much of a beating dps specced though. Their dps seems to be lower than say that of a Sentinel/Maurader, but they still deal decent damage once you start getting good gear for them.
  22. Balancing specs is already hard enough without having to balance for every possible hybrid out there. By removing the viability of the hybrid specs they are making their lives much easier. I think that if they were to allow hybrid specs then class balancing would become a mess that they wouldn't be able to keep up with.
  23. Great...now I'm not going to be able to not think of this stuff when playing my Male SW. Lol.
  24. Your link doesn't work, at least for me.
