  1. I am having the exact same issue. Find a fix? I alread ran fixlauncher and then a repair scan...no luck.
  2. Ok, true. Now, as you said, there is no one class that can do that. It would take the coordination of 2 people with a 2 sec stun (the equivalent of a normal 4 sec stun), followed by another 2 sec stun if your lucky (only stunned for 6 like you said, although technically if your breaker is up, you'll only be stunned for ~4-5 because you'll break it the second they cap you) or if not so lucky, a 4 sec stun, or the possible 8 sec stun, but those will be break on damage. The complaint was about "flopping like a fish while being pounded" so that pretty much rules out the mez's as the OPs issue, he is dealing with hard stuns. To the OP and supporters of the OP: I hate to be one of those people that just spout L2P at a post like this, but it seems to me as though you need a better understanding of resolve, hard stuns, mez's, roots and interrrupts.
  3. Islander is correct. Without allowing resolve to tick down over a drawn out fight, 2 is all you can put on someone before you cap them, and if they know what the hell they are doing (and it wasn't previously on CD), that is when they will use their CC breaker. Watch closely what's going on. You may be resolve capped, and then someone roots you, and then when you cast, they interrupt you, and to some people that may feel like a stun, but its not. You have to be more aware, there are always ways around roots and interrupts.
  4. This is just so wrong it hurts. I'm a concealment operative. If i use hidden strike (1.5 secs stun), you get ~1 1/2 bars of resolve. If I immediately hit you with debilitate (4 secs stun), you are now full resolve, white bar. If i use flash bang on someone with no resolve, it gives them over 3 bars full instantly, and it breaks on damage. The ONLY way I can get 3 stuns off on one person is to greatly draw out the fight, and basically do HS, go through my rotations until their resolve drops down below 1/2 of one bar, then debilitate, then after all my dots have worn off (assuming I'm the only person fighting them), flashbang. If another person was there with a hard stun they could use it then, and yes, you would have 3 stuns, but back to back? No way. It would have to be very drawn out, resolve ticks down slowly.
  5. Snipers are only deadly when ignored, and can be badly picked apart quickly by several classes. Even for your class, there are ways around it. Just because you can't faceroll a sniper doesn't mean they should have the screen removed. As an operative I feel bad for them sometimes.... especially when they often don't get a single shot in.
  6. Resolve only counts for knockbacks and stuns... Things that prevent full control of your character for a length of time. Root only stops movement. Solution? You know you have full resolve; instead of overthinking it and trying to figure out why you can't move, pass the ball. Pass it back to one of the people supporting you. If you push pass and it brings up the symbol, you aren't stunned. Many classes can immobilize you. Yes, the ability to do it from far off is very strong, but not gamebreaking. As an operative, there's plenty of times when I get ahead (by suicide if necessary), stealth in front of the fire, walk right up to them and root them. Its all part of the game.
  7. Droid has a pretty good app where you can quickly keep track of which datacrons you've gotten and which you haven't, its called datapad. The lite version only supports one toon though.
  8. In before they shut this down.. I've posted this twice, once got shut down because I called it a "petition" instead of a "discussion", and the second because someone else posted a similar post a few days prior. So be prepared to be shut down and have this very active thread linked to a very dead one. I'm with you though. We need this, and we need it soon, or a better answer than the vague wording in the FAQ.
  9. Bump. Since the mod killed my post, this is the only active post on the subject now. Need more people to show their support of this much needed feature and to voice their opinions on it.. We aren't looking for a handout, just a much needed feature that we will pay for.. Or maybe a little more information on plans for it?
  10. I thought I explained it well enough, but let me break it down further. Myself and some rl friends formed the guild and signed up for pre launch when it became available. We were assigned to Kaas City. The server started dying. I rolled a new toon on Jung Ma, as I was already in the process of making a new toon, so I just had to start it over. The rest of my friends did not want to change character types or have to spend months leveling, exploring, grinding, etc to do all the content and get their gear again on an identical char type. They got free transfers to canderous ordo. Now my friends are stuck there, unable to come over and join up with the reformed guild that I have made. They are geared and ready to go for rated. I would also like to bring my other toon over as well.
  11. I'm opening this thread in order to get everyones' opinions on the need for unrestricted severtype paid character transfers, or at the very least, more information on BW's plans for this feature. In my opinon, the vague statement left to us of further phases that "may" not have restrictions and "may" require a monetary fee is just unsatisfactory to subscribers who are trying to make plans for ranked teams, or any other form of grouping needed in the game. This majorly effects players that are currently stranded on servers away from their friends or guild, due in large part to the huge delay in dealing with the popluation issues in the first place. I am the guildmaster of Jen'kaar, a guild that was started in the pre-launch days and followed the pre-launch hype, to land ourselves on an assigned server chock full of guilds, making recruitment a nightmare. At the time, the majority of the guild was interested in PVE, and therefore rolled on a PVE server, though myself and many others preferred a PVP server. As the strain of recruiting on a server with almost zero unguilded people continued, the PVE aspect fell apart for many, and our guild focus shifted to PVP. Then, the population started to drop... the queue times became worse and worse. So, left with a tough decision, I and some of the members made characters on a RP-PVP server; a server with a solid, but not overcrowded popluation, and one that was NOT part of the pre-launch recruiting nightmare. Finally, BioWare made the statement of upcoming transfers... James Ohlen said that the game was for friends and guilds to be able to play together, and transfers would make sure that we could. All was well, we had made the jump just in time, and could all be back together again once transfers went live. We started recruiting on the new server, and the guild is now flourishing. When it came time for transfers, we all saw what happened. It was triage for the massive popluation problems, and it helped many of the overall server situations. It was free, and that was a great help to those that simply needed a population boost to make the game playable. What, though, about all those friends and guilds, separated onto different servers, that BW said they were going to help? Now, we have members stuck on a transfer server, unable to join the rest of the guild. Pre-season for ranked warzones is up and running, and we really should be using this time to get everyone adapted as a team and to get ready for season one. TLDR : Please share your thoughts and ideas on this - We need paid character transfers, with no restriction on server type for origin or destination, or some real information on BW's plans for it, in order to better plan ourselves. Thanks, Exsidium / Duri'el Guildmaster of Jen'kaar (currently split onto Jung Ma and Canderous Ordo servers)

I ask anyone in a similar situation - stuck on a server away from your friends or your guild, or anyone effected by this - to support this petition, and ask BioWare to respond. We need paid transfers, with no restriction on server type for origin or destination. I understand population restrictions, and that's something everyone will have to deal with. If you can't give us this, then tell us what you can give, tell us what you plan. Give us something to work with. 13. Wow. Then, any player with any sense at all, knowing you just blew your cc breaker on a 3 sec stun (without full resolve) will stun you again and either kill you or run away.
  14. Wow, I misread the notes...after looking again, they have just essentially made it so that attack adrenals are opposites for the triage adrenals. It increases power but decreases your healing, not your target's. Doesn't matter though since neither will be useable in pvp anymore. The whole thing is just a bad direction to go in.
