With your (OP) "small change", you'd kill the game. Most people gravitate to the easiest/fastest way to do things. If you don't like side quests or killing mobs, have you tried leveling using space combat? I hate it myself, but I have heard that it gives fairly good XP and cash. Or PVP? (Again, not my cup of tea, but it is an option). But just putting in a slider and letting everyone gain as much XP as they want? No way.

Yes. 2 accounts - mine and my sister's. I haven't had this much fun with a new game since Lord of the Rings Online. I still play that.

Ah, yes, the "rich beyond your wildest dreams" quest reward. 150 credits.... I can dream wilder than that. I seriously considered going back and killing that scientist. Then there was the businessman on Coruscant who promised to give my smuggler everything left of his fortune... No wonder the guy was sitting on a park bench. There was another one who said something about "buying a starship and retiring"..... *sigh*

Yes, please, BW, this is ridiculous. Why can't I call a shuttle to pick me up and take m e back to my ship -- or call my pilot and have him bring my ship to me, for that matter?

It is not strictly true that it will never come up again. I've been berated by Darth Baras for my choices in the Sith Warrior story line. I've received emails from people I chose not to kill. Are the differences earth shaking? Probably not, but they are there. The story is the only reason I'm playing alts at all at this point. I'm pretty sure that not everyone will be skipping dialogue in a month. Just those with a short attention span (which unfortunately is a good percentage of the population). Are there issues with the game? There sure are: the UI sucks, there is no usable LFG or LFD for those that want it, key binds and UI changes can't be saved and loaded between characters, crafting is woefully unbalanced, I get disconnected from the server (by the server) and then put into a queue to get back on... etc...., etc.... The story is not an issue with the game. The story IS the game.
