  1. Yes it is a small amount of money, but thats irrelevant. It is money I have paid. What gives them the right to just take that away without compensation. They have admitted it was a fault of theirs and thus should be compensating for it. Lets say you go for a burger and fries, if you dont get the fries would you complain? But its just a few pence/cents for those fries whats the problem?. Theres a principal to this, theres a point of compensation for the downtime. If I do not play 24/7 thats my choice, I choose when to play and I pay for that privilege. But that privilege was taken away through no fault of mine, they made a big mistake and admitted it. And for that they should be compensating as any other company does. I really dont see why I shouldn't be compensated. Lets say servers went down for a week, would you expect compensation?... but thats only a few dollars/pounds, surely that doesnt mean anything in the big scheme of things? Of course it does. So please stop trying brush this away with oh its just a small amount of money - thats not the point.
  2. Exactly - Using a BUG they introduced as some form of compensation is just insulting! Yes it benefits players and leaving it alone (for now) means lots happy little cxp farmers, but using this bug as a form of compensation is quite simply a shockingly poor bit of customer service... Biowares view - Here dear customer pay for our service, then when we deny you our service that you pay for we'll compensate you with a bug we introduced at the time of breaking our service. I am sure you will be happy with that.... NO I AM NOT! I want compensation for my sub. Not a delay in fixing a bug...
  3. 2 more replies from Keith and still nothing said about the compensation for downtime? Where is the compensation for my lost sub time? An extra event some time in the future does not cut it.
  4. I do not see how this is compensating for the downtime incurred, the lost time I pay for. This is not compensating me for that, all you have done is added an event (which you probably would have done to advertise 5.5). And delayed fixing a "bug" as you realise if you screw it up again it would be pandemonium. So how about announcing some formal compensation please for the time lost. And I guess I should probably remind you (as its taken you 8 days to announce non compensation) that compensation not only covers the lost time but also should compensate for the inconvenience.
  5. Yep every day past week you get some muppet not willing to wait their turn and just ninja the quest objective. Even had some guy shout at me insisting im using exploits when im just standing there waiting for an item to respawn so i can complete a daily - And thats after I waited until midnight to do the damn things hoping everyone had gone to bed! I despise dailies that have open world objectives. Make the objective instanced or permanently spawned. Otherwise all they do is generate toxic environments for everyone. Adding another "event" I do not see as compensation for my downtime my main alts are all 300 so it means nothing to me - Adding a week to my subscription time I do see as compensation!
  6. Hi So it's been a lot longer than a few days now, so what are you going to do about compensating our downtime? i hope you are not trying to just sweep this under the carpet and hope it goes away.
  7. I dont mind GC, it certainly helps get gear for the casual player, the issue is with the RNG of it, I must have opened near on a thousand crates on my merc but still dont have full 248, still need 3 or 4 items. Rest is 246, but it is demoralising trying to get those illusive last items when you open a crate and get a blue item and a reputation token for rep you have maxed out! Or worse a legendary item you already have - relic/ear especially which you cant share with an Alt. There needs to be a way to mitigate in some way the RNG, i dont mind working towards an item, but having fingers crossed all the time just isn't working it needs a slight change. I dont have a big guild to do nightmare Ops with, and i dont want to join one, had enough guild drama to last me a lifetime in multiple games. So no thanks I'm very happy with my small guild. Also whilst the additional CXP is great for getting the alts up, I now dread doing the dailies due to the toxic players mentioned. Clearing a quest item of mobs only to have some S.o.a.B. come along and ninja it is infuriating, once ok it happnes, but time after time when doing daily quests is enough to drive anyone insane. I liked it when dailies were empty - it meant i could do them in peace. Now they are swarming with very impatient and downright rude players... No fun in that, so I have to grin and bear it as it gets the alts geared. They need to make all quest goals instance based, only way to beat the toxic fools ruining the experience of others... Have group mobs/trash in the way which need to be cleared fine, but make the goal instanced. Couple of good examples on Oricon of this. But also some bad examples of ninja magnets in Oricon too!
  8. How did it even get past QA in the first place? Seriously how? Either the guy who said dont QA it, or the QA team needs to be replaced, the qualtiy of stuff they let through is so shockingly poor its like they dont even exist so please spend my sub money on something worthwhile, rather than paying these peoples salaries. Most of the stuff in these extremely poor patches could have been caught in QA and you know it! I hate hostile posting but the constant issues with patches beggars belief. Stop rushing garbage out the door, its not what we pay you for - Test things properly - I would rather you delay by 2 weeks and test it thoroughly than release this garbage time upon time. Learn from your mistakes. Dont keep repeating them.
  9. Great none the of codes work - thanks for nothing. Been waiting all day to play this game on the rare time i actually get time off work. Now adding insult to injury you give away codes that dont bloody work!!!!
  10. No point in being summoned there anyway, you'll just get the same message as people who get there legitimately - "You can only have 6 strongholds active at any one time. Please deactivate one of your strongholds in order to buy this one." Stupid decision - up the SH count! Just give everyone 150% discount and decouple it from conquest.
  11. So grind the tokens to be told cant have it til you delete an existing Stronghold. So yeah spend loads of credits and coins unlocking other Strongholds just to deactivate it! Yeah thats a great idea!
  12. Thanks yep was ware of those, but they are too expensive - For one plan would require 2,000 Assorted Droid Parts. I dont have that amount neither do my guild mates. Only get 10 parts per conquest complete. So four of us completing the conquest each week gives us 1 Dark Project - in 50 weeks we could get one framework. So yeah there are other options but they are just as expensive and time consuming. Thanks for the thought. Eric/Keith - A small guild should not be punished just because of their size. It makes this objective unachievable in any reasonable time frame. i'm not just talking a couple of months of effort, we are talking years here! A game should not take years of effort to complete one small part of it. This needs resolving. Simplest way appears to me to change the recipe requirement.
  13. This is a bad choice, i am part of a very small guild and this decision is making our progress as a guild extremely difficult. We are trying to open up our whole Guild ship, this means we need A LOT of isotopes to craft the Dark Projects to turn in and buy plans. We are too small a guild to win any conquests, so that leaves crafting - Thats 50 Dark Projects/Plans per framework. With 8 of these Isotopes required to craft 1 Dark project thats 400 isotopes per framework, with most doors requiring 4 or 5 frameworks to open up we are looking at thousands of isotopes to unlock the guildship. For large guilds running numerous ops that wouldnt be an issue, but we are a very small guild, 5 of us infact we can only run a few story mode ops, the others have mechanics or difficulty preventing it (and time to run the ops of course). Removing isotopes from Fashpoints now severely hinders us obtaining any more isotopes. If Isotopes are to remain this rare then please remove their requirement for creating Dak Projects, or reduce them to 1 or 2 in the recipe at most.
  14. I absolutely hate this bug, it drives me mad. my missus is a quicker clicker than me and just runs off laughing at me as I faff about clicking corpse after corpse. in the meantime shes clearing the next group! and the cycle begins again. For my sanity please fix this!
  15. Intermittent issue, randomly occurs but quite frequent. Has occurred on different accounts (the other half's as well) and in different strongholds. Just going into edit mode mode and click an existing hook does not bring up the window to move decoration, also the edit mode window does not contain the full list of decorations available for that hook. This occurs on all 5 storngholds I have tried, and on any hook type. small to starship, floor to ceiling. Only way to resolve is to fully quit out of game and restart, a logout/back in does not resolve it, have ot restart game. please fix it makes putting out shiny new deco's a pain.
  16. All the gold, silver, bronze packs have gone from the CM. I thought they were constant?
