  1. GW2 has openpvp....bioware at the moment has zip for openpvp...with openpvp you can make you own freakin content. Live by the sword die by the sword. Bioware "will" feel the hurt in subs when GW2 goes live.
  2. There are roughly 3 different beta's coming out within the next 2 weekends. You think, you have problems getting people together to either pve or pvp...what till peeps try those betas. By the end of April, Bioware is gonna say "*** happened to our subs?"
  3. Star Wars: The Old Republic has become a single player game..period. I'll be seeing the rest of my frustrated pvpers in beta of GW2 next week.
  4. This is to the original poster, on April 20(opporunity to enter a beta of game that I will not name)you and I will never have to play huttball ever again!!!!! No doubt like many others, I'll be taking my huttball and going home cause we all know whatever pvp is in Swtor is not really pvp. Hell I'm from a pvp server and there's no openpvp to come across. Those that stick around for the swtor's scenerio pvp will feel more of a drain and more difficulty to get matches cause there will be far better openpvp situations that will arise from not just one opposing faction but from two separate opposing factions attacking your lands!!!... Does not matter what patches Bioware releases...they will never recover from their sub lose.
  5. This gamer speaks the truth...starwars has no quality pvp..and when it does get it that pvp concept it will be too late cause there will be no pvpers left around to care. PVE? blah who in their right mind would run a scripted instance over and over again to get what..tokens? that's insane. April 10th can't come soon enough.
  6. whatever ideas people have it's too late for Bioware. Starwars is and alwaysbe a single player mmo....there is no pvp and huttball is example of a developer knowing that the factions are imbalanced.
  7. none of this will matter when the next pvp mmo comes out this year..cause when it does...no one will still be here to care
  8. Huttball scenerio is an example of a mmo company knowing that the factions will be imbalanced from the get go.
  9. Farm as much as you can cause when GW2 hits....some of you will be wondering where all the pvp players went....
  10. My very first mmo was SWG, I was there when it first launched. Playing on the Scylla server was fun, encounter open pvp and I liked it. I left that game shortly after they put in the Jedi Village. Then I wasted 3 years of my life playing wow, spent 90% PVEing and 10% scenerio PVPing. WarhammerOnline was fun. I played that game from launch up till they introduce the "land of the dead" patch. Which pretty much sucked the pvp outta the openpvp. Sure we could wipe the left-over order in the land of the dead but then it would become a PVE enivornment. Aion- was my first introduction to a korean made mmo. PVPing was fun! Defending and attacking fortress was fun but again...why run a fortress pve instance to get pvp gear? There is no logic into that...nice graphics though. Wow cata expansion, second tour of gaming lasted less than 3 months. Then Rift, like the openpvp encounters, especially when a raid boss popped up but when they introduced dungeon finder like wow...that's when I left. SWTOR, the pve grind to 50 was interesting but the pvp part to get to 50 and after 50 literally was dead the moment the game was launched. I rolled on a pvp server expecting to be ganked or attacked in these wide open planets...nothing..sure came across one or two on Tat but that's not pvp. Playing huttball is not pvping. Empire vs Empire is not pvp. There is such a separation of factons in this game compared to any other mmo that I have played before that it feels like that they don't want you to even spot a enemy pub. The sad thing no matter what they adjust to the pvp, they will never get the subscriptions that they loss back. My pointless objective now is just to reach 60..currently at 53 just to open one beastmaster bag. Cause if I get that beta invite from that new mmo that I will not name here then I will be enjoying some real pvping!
  11. My first MMO was SWG, and played that game when if first launch thus that is where I had encountered my first open pvp experience, which was fun back in the day. But what Star Wars: The Old Republic has to offer for pvp in this in age is pales to any other game out that has come out before it. Last night I hit Valor 50...about 90% of that valor came from Huttball. That is wrong on so many levels. Yes I tried pvping in Illum, running around in one big circle to open crates is not what I consider pvp..... . Sure some hardcore pvpers have left the building but there's 2 mmo's out are in the shadows and are about to turn on their lights. When they do...I"ll be like a moth to a light....... The question is will Star Wars had enough footing to survive these 2 mmo's?
  12. Frustrates me to see when most of the team members are trying to prevent the enemy from crossing the line. If you can see that the enemy can score a touchdown why not have 4 team members stay in the middle...drives me nuts when stuff like that does not happen.
  13. I approve of the gamer's message above me
  14. Mission accomplished. Frustrating though that I had reset that freakin instance 4 times thinking I had to be on top of the triangle target to kick start the next target command. If were not for the provided fellow gamers info..I would have continue to send in a ticket every day......
  15. Thanks for all the information guys, I'll give it a shot. Who knew 3 days without my very first companion that I would miss her alot and besides I have some new purples to give her!
