I've used it for a long time, but was feeling alone in there and couldn't get a group. Got group very fast with LFG in chat. Maybe make a LFG chat channel also. I do feel that TOR is missing some chat channels.

So another game that killed wow? Same thing was said about Rift and the same is predicted with GW2. WoW does take a long time to die, doesn't it? The zombie of the mmo's

You can subscribe to the threats you post in and you'll get noticed with new posts. In most mmo's the main skill bar is cluttered with all kind of ornaments that take up a lot of space and I really find it odd that BW didn't add more possibility's for customizing the UI. UI is a VERY important thing for a lot of gamers (one of the reasons I eg don't play Skyrim)

Honestly, there have to be some kind of penalty for dying or they might as well remove dying all together. I haven't experienced more than 1 min something but was told that your armor take more dmg when you die. But knowing about the 10 min will make me more careful now. Maybe you have to change the way you play to avoid getting 10 min?

Maybe some indi game will suit you better?

I really like the dialog and I'm glad they have put it. Yes sometimes it gets to much but I prefer that to nothing or only some like in AoC. I've never played a mmo that I like 100%, but hey, there is a lot of different ppl out there and having all the difference in a mmo is great. I have friends who pvp and we can talk about the game and even play together (in some games) even though I don't pvp (much) I'm a mmo hopper also, I usually don't stay very long in one mmo. But that is hardly the mmos fault. Don't get me wrong, I do complain if there are things I don't like, but I'm not particular loyal to any game. Wish I was, I soooo need a game addiction. I think the game world need something new now, let's hope that GW2 can bring us that. Their developers did, after all, give us both GW1 and WoW. OP good luck

I really like the orange gear idea, always being vain with my armor I like that I can choose if I want this or that. Mostly when a new game start there isn't much armor to choose from. Problem with this is, that I quickly will be collecting a lot of armor stashed aways in my storage because "I might want to use it later", rather than selling it

I'm surprised that it can be bought for ig credits. I was sure that everything that came with the special editions would be available in an online store to buy for real money after head start. But it doesn't really bother me, but I can understand it bothers people who thought they bought something unique.

It's seems to be common that people are nicer, in general, during beta. I remember when I entered my very first beta I thought that was the standard of how people were behaving in games, but I was so wrong. I usually put stuff up for sale in the auction house (or what ever it's called in different games) for the lowest among possible for others to buy (I'm just to lazy to ping it and/or mail it) Though in SWTOR I did because I didn't find the auction. But it's not just about giving people stuff, it's also being helpful and show respect for other gamers. Yesterday I turned off chat because I was so fed up with some people insulting new players. Why not just help them? Imo that is the only way to show you know better and more than they do. Most of the time the insults doesn't make me belive that those people actually know more than the new gamers, they probably are new to mmo's them self but will not admit it.

Horrible! I couldn't even watch the first 5 min movie, I cringed more and more. I was 14 when the first Star Wars came out but have never seen this before. I can understand why Lukas hate it lol

Well, I know that mmos are moving away from the "trinity" concept. GW2 isn't going to have it. I ask because in Rift being a ranger I was always asked to go Bard, support heal, and I got fed up with it and made a cleric (group heal) I know you can swap build, but if my fav is being dps I don't want to heal all the time I'm in a group.

I only got my sorcerer to lvl 16 and didn't really pay much attention to the heal skill tree. I don't like to play cross profession chars (hated in Rift when everyone wanted my ranger to go bard all the time) How much do people expect the sorcerer to heal in SWTOR? I would rater make a healer than a sorcerer if I'm expected to heal all the time. I don't mind minor support as sorcerer but spending all my ig time healing ...

I guess that didn't happen I agree with you. We always have to wait until very late before anything happens from the game companies. I hope that if they throw events they will think about the time different.

The posts in this forum, a lot of them are hilarious and I have been seen a great part of forum posts for hs for different games, but this one beats them all. I'm not invited to hs, not yet, I have stuff I have to do early in the morning and I knew when I preordered that I wouldn't get in, at least not before sometime between the 15 and 19.
