We need to know more than the amount of memory being used. One thing that can slowdown your game is if something else is running and using high CPU usage in the background. You need to post a picture with your top programs for memory but also top CPU usage programs. Often, you'll notice something running in the background consuming CPU cycle and often heavy disk usage, all elements that can easily explain poor performances in game.

How about the focus tree. Is it viable in PVP ? I see you never mentionned it.

it's the FIRST day of release. Of course you are going to see queues. It will get better in the next following days. Locking the full server is an awfull idea. Some people have friends that will want to join them to play togheter. Locking server would prevent this and it will never be done. Population will settle soon and people, by themselves will re-roll to less populated server and the balance of population will happen.

Your video card, an embeded on board will be your killer. Your CPU should be good. If you can, I'd consider upgrading your video card.

This gets my vote. Nothing worst than waiting 35 minutes to log in to get the infamous black screen and get to wait again to log back in. Just horrible.

Have you tried to even launch the game to see if it would let you play? Even if you didn't get the email (which could be cought in some spam filtering server) your account may very well be active. Just launch the launcher and if you are allowed to click "PLAY" and accept the EULA, you are in. The email is just to let you know your account was activated. There are no serial or anything inside that you need to play. I'm a december 1st and got in yesterday. Unless you didn't register your pre-order serial for early access on your account here, there are no reason you shouldn't be in right now.

It would be a reall sweet suprised if we were allowed in but I think it more likely to be on Friday. I preordered actually on November 30th but for some reason, when I registered my code 5 minutes later, it shows that I registered on December 1st so I'm in the first group of december people so I'm crossing my finguers. it's hard to wait when most of your guildmates are already in and playing while you are sideline but unlike other kids complaining, I understand it's my fault. I wasn't even planning on playing another MMO, not after spending so much time on ultima Online, EverQuest, Acharchy Online and World of Warcraft. But then I got in the thanks giving beta due to guildmates harrasing me to try it (in a good way really) and I got hooked. I knew I got hooked when a few days after the weekend ended, I didn't feel like playing anything else, this is when I realized I had to buy it and so I did on origin.

It says "up to 5 days". So it could be 5, 4, 3, 2 or a single day of early access and they still would have kept their word.

As you said, right now, is not the heaviest time of the day. Lots of people who received their email are still at work or school. The busy period will be at night and this is where you will get a better representation of the server population.

My estimated time frame is that everyone wll get in before the weekend. I pre-ordered on december 1st and I expect to be in before the weekend.

This is your first MMO right? because if you had played any other MMO on lunch day, you would not be saying stupidities like that. Trust me, Bioware are doing it the right way. I played their stress test on thanks giving and it was so smooth despite the heavy population, smoother than a lot of other MMO I've played at launch and later on.
