My character's buffs aren't showing and the double XP/CXP isn't showing down in the display.
I checked my interface and it seemed normal, just no stuff.

I don't see RP in the PvP (at least not warzones). It just seems to be a PvP server that doesn't allow people named Darth PwnzurAZZ. People RP on the fleet though.

I was waiting to see you put in that Brad-Pitt-As-LionO bit when lion was referenced. (@1:02 from)

Wow, a necro from over 2 years ago. I hope the OP wasn't waiting all this time for the response.

Not sure how active it is anymore. I'm on the pub side, and if there's 3 of us, that's a lot.

As soon as I saw not speccing into recup nanotech, I stopped reading. Have fun with that
You mean you stopped reading when a 2-year old link (when 31 points WAS recuperative nanotech) isn't being displayed properly because of talent tree extensions when 2.0 came out?
Yeah. It's because of time, not because the guy didn't know how to spec 2 years ago.

The Mines of Doan. Jungle Medicine. The Junk Armada. Biogenesis. The Hutt's Kitchen.
those are my hints.

You'll all look dumb when the Peter Capaldi emperor comes back in the next expansion.

I have characters on 4 servers, and this is the way it is on all of those economies. Basically, you're making money from crafting crits. The augments are selling at or just below cost (1 aug price = 4 Thermal regulator price).
If you have a cybertech, you can actually make more on the slot kits. (to clarify, using the cybertech to make droid parts. Probably the cheapest way to get mk-9 kit parts)

So I get killed, all my buttons disappear, but am still looking at the ongoing action and cannot respawn.
What happened? I had to /quit

I know when ios 7 came out, upgrading borked your authenticator, requiring you to jump through some hurdles (I've read the post). What I'm wondering is if things have changed in the last couple of months, or do I still have to remove it first?

You want Doc (Quinn will break your heart in act 3). Besides, being with Doc is like saying you're going out with Bruce Campbell.

I think the report is if it's your current selected companion.

For the past month or so, I have not seen a single mission on any of my crew skills past the "Abundant" level on my level six missions. Levels one through five have "Rich" and "Bountiful" missions, as does level nine. I used to have "Bountiful" and "Rich" missions for level six. They're just not coming up anymore. Anyone else having this issue???
This is the way it has always been with every crew skill. When 6 was the max grade, it was done that way to limit the amount of stuff that you could get with missions to artificially create a low supply.
It was that way for grade 9 gathering missions too, but the bountiful/rich missions gave you blue mats on the gathering skills (which didn't go with any recipes so they did away with that and converted them to normal mats).
That said, grade 6 materials for any crafting skill are worthless in many cases. You use them to make level 49 gear that get mega-eclipsed by level 50 HC green drops.

If you need someone to fill in, I have a 55 sniper on Harbinger named Oldmack.
I have my smashmonkey up to 42.

It's actually like that for everyone in UT. Metals are the least common missions, and yet there are 3 crew skills that require the metals, and only 1 that requires the fabrics.

Question, what crew skills should I rock to be able to craft ADVANCED SKILL AUGMENT 28. The 20 + end, and 32 + cunning?
Advanced Skill Augment XX is Armormech (and that is a dropped schematic, not learned from the trainer). The skills that go with it are Scavenging and Underworld Trading. As usual, if you feel you'd make more credits with other gathering skills and will just buy materials from GTN, go for it.

The other part to remember is that with the Gunslinger, you only have to worry about 1 resource for your wounding shots (energy). Scoundrels require energy and upper hand, so not only do you have to hit your shrap bomb, vital shot, and Hemorrhaging Blast before your WS, but you have to have hit a blaster whip, or killed someone, etc. and worry about keeping your upper hand.
That's just personal preference though. I've just never really gotten along with the smuggler/operative playstyle (except healing which I really dig)

1) Where are you reading the damage? (maybe it needs a new hilt)
2) Is the lightsaber at the appropriate level for her?
3) (just a note) Offhand sabers are really just fancy stat-sticks that do some extra damage, but not a whole lot (or Sentinels would WAY outdamage guardians).

With Theran and a Kinetic spec, you should be finishing gold star guys with nearly 100% health. Do you interrupt their abilities? Do you use your stun? Do you use your knockback and then Telekinetic Throw so it takes longer for them to walk back to you? Is Kinetic Ward up all of the time?

I'm leveling my new Sorc. in the madness tree, but had a quick question. Electric Induction (reduces cost of powers and increases force accuracy) from the healing tree and Seeping Darkness (increases force crit) from lightening seem like powers you'd always want for leveling. I was wondering if I should take them, and how early on I should do that? Mainly I'm asking do I take them early or wait till I fill out my madness tree? Thanks in advance for the help. I'm LOVING the Sorcerer so far!!!
It used to be that you did exactly that back in 1.0 (take the talents for 100 more force and lower cost of spells in the lightning tree). While leveling in 2.x, however, I can't see the accuracy and crit being more beneficial than points higher up in madness.
At low levels, it's probably not that bad, but when you start thinking about the relative value of a single talent point, it could really slow your leveling speed. Example, Death Field is a great talent and it really helps speed up your leveling. You can get that at level 20. But if you wait until level 24-26 just to get some accuracy and crit seems like a slow-down... the return on investment per point spent on those other skills is hard to justify. It would make 20-26 take quite a bit more time. Each tier above Death Field has skills that at-minimum are as good as +accuracy or +crit. I've been leaving out the lower-force-cost element because as far as I can tell, no one really has force problems while leveling.
TL;DR, stick with just Madness. It's probably not a huge amount better, but if your goal is to get over-46 ASAP (the point where you can start putting points in other trees), I think it'll save you a couple of hours.

clever girl .. ROFL! love that form Jurassic park!
I've always wondered why the Clever Girl meme caught on from Jurassic Park. Arnold Schwarzenegger says it in Total Recall which came out 3 years prior.
