The set bonus goes with the armoring and armoring is bound to slot. So you can only change the armoring from one pair of boots to the armoring of another pair of boots, as far as I know.

Enrage timers just too tight on SM EC

Then it should be changed to drop nothing, if you're only there for the story. Right? -
Lost Island, ***...
Carlsbergh replied to Dobah's topic in Flashpoints, Operations, and Heroic Missions
Finished Lost Island HM last night for my first time there. Our group consisted of me (Seer Sage, mixture between Rakata and Columni gear, blame Op loot drops really), a Guardian Tank (again, mixture of Columni and Rakata), Guardian DPS (again, same gear level) and a Vanguard with mostly Columni and some PvP Battlemaster pieces, so an all-melee group. While the droid boss was challenging, it was certainly not impossible. The trick is to have a designated "spotter" to see where it would be best to move to. Generally give this to your member with the most oversight over the fight. Put a marker above his head and just stick to that person. The healer can stay in melee range, I haven't noticed anything particularly difficult about that. Healing is rough, but certainly doable as a Seer Sage. AoE-heal is king in this situation and if everyone moves properly, the blue **** on the floor shouldn't be too much to handle. Sovrak definitely doable, rather easy. Crunch-healing moments, but doable and challenging. Dr. Lorrick was hard as fudge on me, that's for sure. Clever coordination from your tank and melee DPS to dodge the aoe pools he drops on the ground are needed and all of your DPS and tanks need to be on the ball for when he does his cone-attack. As for the rest, hardest part in an all-melee group is without a doubt the last phase because of the aoe-dot he does (which stacks). Your melee dps need to pop everything they have to make this phase end as quickly as possible and your healer needs to take out everything he has to keep the group up, but it is again, doable. So please, BioWare, don't listen to the whining of these guys. It is very much doable for a coordinated group of semi-good geared people to run, which is what you intended it for, I suppose (looking at you, Rakata chestpiece!). Challenge is good and it's not a bad thing that you need a good team to get the fights down. I've complained tons about the PvP since the patch, but you've done a great job on the PvE department. -
There, there, I'll get you some crayons later.

DPS Guardians are rather indisputably the FotM class. Oh, and where did I use terms that were specific to WoW? I'm quite baffled by your accusation. If you, as a DPS Guardian, couldn't bring a single healing Sage down by yourself, you constitute as a baddie, because they were more than capable of doing so with their vast amount of control over a fight. To continue your line of arguing: "You sound like a baddie that wasn't lose his rather overpowered abilities that make him actually kill things." I worded it better, though.

I'm not, but when a single Marauder/Jugg/whateverothermeleeDPS comes up to me and nukes me down in a stun, I'm not a happy panda.

You're pretty thick, aren't you? I think I remember your name as being one of the pro-1.2 people during the time it was on the PTS. You do not get the point, do you? This screenshot shows a player who has lost a game, surpassed the threshold of 3 medals and got nothing. Literally, nothing. Not a single commendation. At that rate it would take him... forever to get a single piece of gear. While that happens, the better geared players who are already winning will continue gearing up, while he'll be stuck in his rubbish gear. That equates to him having an even smaller chance of winning and eventually giving up on PvP altogether. Have fun with your dead servers, if you think that's brilliant game design. -
Dev's: "We want slower killing" . . . Result = opposite
Carlsbergh replied to Cerdo_hormiguero's topic in PvP
Your second part of that post is highly unrealistic and did not happen pre-1.2 unless you had a completely incompetent group of DPSers who didn't know how to interrupt, knockback, stun, mez, ... Have fun when the pendulum swings, because we're in for a long ride of kneejerk reactions to these patchnotes from BioWare now. -
And how come my server has dropped from a whooping 130 on Republic Fleet on Thursday to an astonishing 25 last night (Saturday night, I'm a European) which usually sports around 60-70 players on the Fleet?

So you claim your premade never says "x is healing" or "I'm being hit by y, assist me please"? -
Where do you get your current active subscription numbers?

Well, officially EA is the worst company of the year.

This screenshot was posted by someone else in another topic. http://www.swtor.gr/sites/default/files/users-uploads/user3/wz_waste_of_time.jpg He apparently had five medals, got jack squat. Sounds fair eh? -
And we all know BioWare is doing a bang up job at that right now!
