  1. 90% of the people I have played mmo's and MOBA's with don't possess this ability. And thank you for your input, after reading what you said it seems like it may be a little too tough. I do feel that 1-60 shouldn't be as demanding as it seems it is.
  2. From what I have heard the complaint is more from people <50 who are doing chapters 1, 2 and 3.
  3. Firstly, I hope I am not making a thread on something I have already made, I did try and look through some of the first few pages and I didn't see anything that similar, but I apologise if it has. One topic that seems to be coming up repeatedly is people having trouble with Silver mobs while leveling. I recently came back to the game and leveled up a powertech on a new server. This meant that I didn't have any legacy perks and wasn't able to send money or gear to the new character. When I hit some of the higher level planets I started having trouble with the packs of two or more Silver mobs because I was so undergeared (I still had some level 10 gear on). This became frustrating really quickly so I realised I had to do something differently if I was to get to 55 before the 12xp ended. I thought I would just make this post to share a few things that helped me in hope that they might help others out too. Heres a list of some of the simple things I did: Remember to interrupt the channeled abilities : This is the most important thing, and I can't emphasise enough how important it is. When you see a enemy start casting an ability, interrupt it straight away. I found that the CD of my interrupt was small enough to interrupt nearly ever ability I saw being cast. One bit of advice for making this easier, is to bind your interrupt to a really easy to reach key (Mine was bound to q). I honestly feel its more important while leveling to have my interrupt on a more convenient key more so than an attack you have included in your main rotation. Stop using stuns randomly: One thing that is really important is save your stuns for when your interrupt is on CD, and use it when the enemy is casting an ability. This means that you will stun the enemy and also interrupt whatever the boss is casting. Start buying stims and medpacks: People always seem reluctant to pay a few hundred credits for a stim or medpack, but honestly its worth it. Every time you go past a vendor just pick up few medpacks and stims and they will help you out heaps in those hard fights. One thing that will help is remembering as soon as you buy them put them quickbar and have a key bound to them so that you remember to use them during combat. Hope these tips can help a few people and if anyone has any criticism or things I should add, I am happy to edit this post.
  4. Hello all, I have recently started playing SWTOR again after taking a years break. Since the new xpac is coming up I am looking forward to gearing up and doing HM raids with a guild. I have changed servers and recently leveled a Powertech up to 55. I am not sure on if I'm going to play as a tank or a DPS, I have experience in both so depending on the guilds needs I will gear accordingly when 3.0 hits. On other characters I cleared most of the previous raids on HM and some on NiM. Although I want to do HM content and hopefully some NiM stuff eventually, I don't have time for 5 days a week of progression raiding. I can make raids starting around 7-10 PST. Thanks in advance, - Zyrakk
  5. Hello all, I have been looking through previous posts to try to make sure I'm not asking a question that has been asked 100 times already. If it has, I am honestly sorry and you're welcome to just link the old posts if you can be bothered. My question is, what can I do with commendations and/or equipment this season to make sure that I have the most commendations and can gear quickly when 3.0 hits. Thanks in advance
  6. Just incase your one of those people who want to do to come to EU servers for better ping if you live in an APAC country, DON'T I live in New Zealand and playing on a EU server is so bad, when were awake their asleep, the fleet has like 12 people on when were awake and the ping is bad, stay in NA
  7. Hey, I just moved here from an EU server as I live in New Zealand and the times people were active didn't work for me. I just rolled a Maurader and wondered if there were any active guilds that would help me level and do RWZ's and some ops when I reach 55. I plan to try and level quickly, especially with the double xp weekends coming up. Thanks
  8. I think the 'issue' is to many people for EU might go to NA or the other way arround for higher server pops and they want to get the first round out of the way. Only thing I can think of
  9. I live in New Zealand and first rolled on a europen server, as there were no APAC servers. The time I play the fleet has an astounding 8 people on it so as you can tell it's really enjoyable to sit there and look through the GTN for 2+ hours and no do WZ's and Raids because there is no one on. When they had the APAC transfers I wasnt active so I missed them. I was looking forward to the paid transfers so I could move to a US high pop server and finally do end game content , when I heard transfers were bring postponedI was sorta pissed off as I had just renewed my sub so I could have the monthly cartel coins as I needed an extra 100 for the 1800 I needed for the server transfer. I now come and read through this enite page to see when they were coming and see "You will not be able to transfer to a different reigon" What the ***** do I do? I have an active sub that is pretty much worthless, I really enjoy the game but its an mmo, and an mmo with out players is pretty dull, im sure you all can relate after those long months spent on low pop servers leading up to f2p. Theres always the option to re-roll but all my legacy, gear credits acheivement; all gone. Its a pretty crappy thought to have to completly start again Sorry if some of its spelt badly or doesn't make sense
  10. I have spent the last few days going through Vanguard build I have found on the forums and trying them in PvP. Most of them are a hybrid that focus on tankyness but deal next to no damage. I have tried yours for a few games and am really liking it, I feel like I can actually do damage once again. Thanks heaps for posting this
  11. If anyone is thinking about purchasing SWTOR I can invite you for the free trial and if you do end up purchasing it I can get the new mount which would be cool
  12. Ok, if or when you make server transfers available if I were to move my characters onto a server that more of my characters are on what will happen to the legacy. I would really appreciate it if you could answer this question:rak_01:
  13. I have just read your last weeks Q and A about the server transfers, will you be able to transfer characters from different servers onto the same on and 'merge' the legacy.
