No, I mean the Map, when you open your map to full screen. It is larger than my screen and I do not know how to adjust that. Set your global size to the largest, then save, then open your map, to see what I mean. Not the min-map, I have that sized just fine.

I like now being able to set the Global UI to its largest size, however when I open my map, I would like that to size so that I can close it and see the guide etc. Currently with my UI I cannot even close the map. it is so overscaled. How do you adjust the open map, while keeping the rest of the UI large and readable?

Some of the Jedi Shadow class quests are crazy extra hard because for some reason they stuck a ton of droids in the solo stuff. This leaves you with no CC and some of the packs are pretty tough. If you are tanked specced and using Tharan, it can get pretty tough. I do not think they put a lot of thought into some of them. I duo'd with a Sage, but we did our class stuff solo and it was infuriating when he would breeze through and I was struggling. Finally it ended up just being quicker for us to do it twice.

I would also rethink your idea that you need Heavy armor. As a Jedi Shadow, I wear light armor and I assure you I have high survivability. Resist, absorb, deflect.....

Have you tried posting on your server's forum? Maybe post up your time zone, raiding/pvp interest, mmo exp, class etc and and what you are looking for in a guild. See if you get any bites.

Set shadows to off. Everything else low or off. Play in Fullscreen windowed mode. Helped with heat. Get a cooling pad. I have my laptop on with the cooling pad on ALL the time. It isn't a high end one, just a cheap USB one. But without it my comp was shutting down. Still runs hot, but it runs.

Shadow tanks can MT with no prob at all.

There are many, many threads of complaints about certain datacrons that a body type 3 or 4 cannot access. Since I leveled with a body type 3 partner, I know of 3 republic datacrons for certain that he could not access on his own. In one case, he had to suicide and I had to rez him past the barrier. In 2 other cases a sytem of dueling and me Force Pulling him was the only way he could access the datacron area. I only pointed it out, since the OP seemed unhappy with his body type and I was listing another reason to consider rerolling, especially if he is not too far along.

Not to nudge you into rerolling but..... currently there are several datacrons that are not available to larger body types without convoluded dueling and rezzing workarounds. So if you are even slightly considering it...there is an additional reason to reroll with a smaller tpye.

For FE HM in particular, a lot of those pulls are a real pita. What we have found to be extremely helpful is having our CC (usually healing sage, sometimes we have a slice droid too) force lift an elite or a strong and LOS the pack around a door or whatever is handy. This will pull the spread out group into one nice little pile for you to pop out, hit with a slow time and force break and maybe a whirling blow. Group can open up and nothing should pull off from you. Once the mob is cleared you can Force pull one of the CC mob to you away from perhaps a second CC mob. And repeat without worrying about breaking CC with your AoE threat. This small set-up actually ends up saving a ton of time in the long run. As long as your group lets you get in a hit or two, threat should not be a problem. Also save your taunts for after a mob peels off, if it does. Do not use those during opening threat generation.

No. Companions cannot use Dark/Light aligned gear. They also cannot use class gear. EX. Aric cannot use Trooper gear, even though he is a trooper. If you are looking for a non-aligned lightsaber. I think there is a specialty goods vendor on Coruscant that sells a moddable non-aligned one. Keep an eye out at the specialty vendors for companion gear.

Make sure your pet is on passive so you are taking all the hits. If after about 15 minutes, you still do not get quest progression, abandon and retake the quest. I had this quest bug out on me on 3 out of 4 characters I took through Taris.

I have my laptop on a cheap USB cooling fan that does an adequate, but not awesome job at cooling it. What made my gaming so much better though was investing in a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Now I have my laptop on a cart and I sit in the recliner with my keyboard on my lap and the mouse on the armrest and it works pretty nicely.

We did this HM for the first time ever last night. We wiped about 6 times as we had never seen the encounter. Our successful attempt was probably not awesome but here is what we did. On the first charge, I (Jedi Shadow) got shot and he ran after our JK and killed him, then came back on me. Sage rezzed JK. No one DPS on him during first charge phase. This allowed me to gain huge agro on him for second charge. I got to the outside of the boxes and was doing a little jiggy strafe back and forth as they unloaded on him during the 2nd charge. He stayed dancing with me and didn't switch to the dps. I agree the enrage is pretty tough. Only our smuggle has won any gear so far. There has been no Jedi love from the loot drop gods.

AFAIK there are 2 moderate lvl 1 missions and the one bountiful. I may simply just have run into bad RNG. It took 24 missions to get I Do to pop. but out of those 24 missions I got 1 green item. All the rest were 50-150 credits on the 95 credit cost mission. I know it is a small sample size, I was just wondering if anyone else felt there was a change to lockbox missions.

Was there a nerf? Just looking for general observations here....since this morning I have done about 20 of the level 1 TH lockbox missions and have not gotten a single item. Credits only. Am I having a run of bad luck? Or has anyone else noticed a change in TH returns? Additionally, I have not been able to get the mission "I Do" to pop up.

I am replublic on Kass City and while I do not know official breakdown, we have a pretty nice sized republic community, although Imperials seem to outnumber us about 2 to 1 if you compare fllet population at any given time.

I really wish there was a way to enlarge quest subtitles. I can't read it. I know that you can change game resolution, but I get MUCH worse performance when not using my computer's native resolution. So for the sake of getting passable performance, I can't read text or tooltips.

Smuggler Take Cover works similarly. That is how we got someone up there after many hours.

I have been duoing with a Jedi Sage. He uses Qyzen and I use Tharan. When it comes to the solo areas we have been doing our own separately. However he rarely struggles and I seem to really run into trouble often. For example on Belsavis, almost all the instances are droids. I have no CC for droids. The one fight drops you out of conversation into a fight with an elite and 2 strong droids. I had to die and was able to finally do it by mind mazing the elite after being able to set-up. An ealier pull in that same area had an elite droid pop out of the wall on a stong plus one pull. How can I handle these type of pulls? I have 8 sec Force lift and that is about it. Should I change companions? I feel my DPS is lowish, but I don't think I can go with no heals....I really am a bit frazzled trying to level Kinetic and doing these solo story areas....
