LOL, a month later and that game has sunk faster than the TORtanic ever did. I gave up on that game 3 weeks ago, and it's even gotten worse. But yeah... this game needs megaservers at this point tbh. Or maybe, just maybe, cross server queues. Almost every game at this point does either one now.

I assume you can do the same thing that you can do in WOW, put a piece of Legacy gear (heirloom in wow) and it won't let you mail anything if it's not a part of your legacy. I've sent mail to the wrong people before in WoW, and my friend told me I should put a piece of heirloom gear to prevent those mistakes in the future.

You can get the gear through alliance crates and the new crafted stuff in 4.1

No, they are now BoP.... there are other ways to get them though. Through the Alliance crates and by crafting.

Disney signed an exclusive deal to EA for Star Wars gaming rights that lasts 10 years. I wouldn't be worried. These threads are common in every MMO. No, this game isn't going anywhere. No they aren't rebooting or making a new Star Wars MMO. Hopefully though, they get more power behind this MMO instead of cutting down the team and pruning content.

Man reading all this... I was so excited to buy the new packs, but this just scares me off. I have 10,000 cc, but now I am not sure if I want to even spend it at all... wow man... this sounds awful. The droprate of the chance cube seems unusually high. I think I'll hold off until Bioware says something or if they don't I just don't buy it.

That's why you need to test in a LIVE environment. A lot of people know what happens in coding (well some do). They have a PTS. Why didn't they push it there for a week or two. Who cares about spoilers, that **** gets datamined anyway, so why does it matter. PTS saves lives!

One thing I liked about Gazillion and their game Marvel Heroes is they gave event codes that worked FOR EVERYONE, one-time use only for a short time.

Same boat here, been getting network 310 error all morning. No idea how other people are patching, able to log in when the servers cames up for a short bit earlier. I can't get downloading for more than a few seconds before I keep getting the error.
