To be honest, even before SoR I was already finding that with 8GB I couldn't load all the dynamics and fx so I don't think it really is worthwhile with less than 16GB right now sadly.

+1 on this really. If its a performance thing can't it be limited per room or something. I'm an avid pet collector and was gutted to realise that I can have only a few pets or companions showing. I was loving my little zoo room until I ran out of npcs and had to remove most to make space for comps. Also do vendors and live mounts class as NPCs? I see my Ashfall Tauntaun mount has a health bar. Don't get me wrong. I love the stronghold. But with companions in many cases appearing naked instead of displaying their bespoke armour, and no mannequins to show the gear I have collected, I feel a little let down on how much more could be possible. I do hope there is more to come in time.

Re: PTS Server Do I take it that developer focus has shifted towards only employing the PTS server when a major patch is upcoming? If so might I politely ask if it is possible for the (admittedly rather small) group of players who took up your invitation to level our main characters there to allow us to copy/transfer characters onto the consolidated live servers please? I have now started playing again on a live server, but rather miss my PTS family of characters (legacy level 14 or so)

Yes at present on PTS you can crit craft low level orange gear. Killalnua

It will be a short term issue. Once a few crafters can make the gear prices will come down for the crafted items. A well organised guild will probably focus on getting one or two members with the schematics to gear up their guildmates assuming they are BoE.

Playing on PTS there are no groups, but I decided to go heal spec anyway. Soloing is pretty straightforward although you do need to be at level for the quests to cope well. Rather than sticking with Qyzen, I find Tharan the most versatile, especially dealing with golds as Holiday's interupts help enormously. For general ploughing I prefer the Leiutenant to Qyzen, although when DPS alone isn't enough I pop out Tharan again. Haven't had Nadia long enough to really work her out. Oh yes and I keep EMP switched off and make careful use of force lift to manage incoming damage. Currently level 45 having yet to group with anyone :-s
