  1. What are your thoughts on class balance currently on live servers, do you feel that any class is curently outperforming another or struggling to keep up in certain aspects, or maybe that some classes have too much utility or not enough?

  3. I dont know...I amgine it is the orange pvp weapon, but I cant say for sure. You must be in serious denial if you think someone would equip a lvl 1 orange weapon and make a video of them attacking a tank. Like i said, its not all about one video, but since no one else has any supporting evidence, this is all we have to go off of besides the nice stories...
  4. Yet here we are 6 pages later and no one has given another video that shows anything different on live servers. Sorry the person in the vid cant just magically equip BM gear for you to see. Point is(which was pointed out in the original post) that a geared tank is not being dropped to sub 30% in the opener...what a shocker. Lastly they were trying to show the damage of our most common attacks.
  5. Lets just ignore the fact that he "opened" twice using a major cd, and the ability that everyone is going into a foaming rager about hit for 3500. Lets also ignore the fact that most geared lvl 50's are sitting at 18-22K hp with 500-600 exp. Lastly, lets ignore the ability of the receipient to activate an ability that will let him reflect damage and reduce incoming damage by 99% as soon as he stood up.
  6. Show me one. Also...show me one that is current and under the critera i asked for and not one of a lvl 50 opening on a lvl 12 with gear and 4+ buffs rolling.

  8. In the first 15 seconds I see a geared lvl 50 operative open on a lvl 12. Not to mention that op has stacked buffs. Nice try, but NEXT video please.
  9. Clearly. All i am asking for is to show me the proof. You are right, you dont have to prove anything...its not your class and truth be told you aren't affected as badly as you claim to be. If it were as important to you to for operatives to be nerfed I bet you would show me something...as it stands you could probably care less. Lets analize what more than likely happens...you are not with your team when you get opened on by an op and the ops teammates see you laying on the floor and throw in some damage to get themselves more medals. I guarentee you, Ops dont open on someone who is in a crowd of their teammates, because we get spotted way too easily.
  10. See what I did thuuur. Its a great story and all, but unless I back it up...which I did, all i have is BLAH BLAH BLAH nerf ops so i can shoot moar lightning and tracer missles!

  12. You are absolutely right, being sub 30 doesnt explain the damage levels...you know what does? Popping my relic, adrenal, and having red buff! Imagine that... an issue that has already been resolved, but yet here we are staring into the barrel of a gun that is going to kill a class that was already easily countered with the use of a cc breaker. Not to mention that when we didnt get hyped up on those buffs, the reality is what you see in the video that has been provided. Too many people got too upset over the buff stacking and took it out on the class that knocks their player down, never mind the countless knockbacks into fire/acid pits, or off the damn walkways when you are about to enter the endzone thanks to 1 sorc/sage that respawned.

  14. Ya they really are just murdering everyone in a 3 second stun! you are right, oh no wait...thats when we could stack consumables and open on people that were sub lvl 30! You got something to say thats different, I say SHOW ME THE PROOF!
  15. No what I am saying is, that didnt take long to find a video of an operative NOT KILLING SOMEONE IN A 3 SEC STUN like so many claim. I will edit that post to make it clear.
  16. Boy that didnt take long! Suprisingly this operative does not kill his target in the 3 second stun, not does he reduce his targets hp to sub 30%. Just to give more infor for the video, the other guy has 450 exp, the operative has 400. THIS IS WAS FILMED ON LIVE SERVERS! Just not possible without buff stacking Keep em coming!
  17. Ok so we have all seen the videos of people rolling lowbies while they are simulatneously hyped up on adrenals, relics, and red buffs. I challenge anyone to make a video of them getting rolled in a stun by an operative that has no buffs rolling on them. I also challenge any operatives to make videos of them face rolling people in a stun while not using anything but self/ops buffs. Lets keep in mind what people are claiming. 1. They are dying IN A 3 SECOND STUN 2. They are dying BEFORE THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO REACT 3. Heavy armor classes with 500+ exp are getting dropped to sub 30% in an opener. There it is. You have your challenge. Now lets keep in mind that we are looking for clean kills with little/no outside help from teammates. This will be difficult but not impossible. No buffs except those that are applied in the starting areas. Also try to have some class...if you are level 49, dont go pick on lvl 11's to make a point...or seek them out and see if you can indeed kill them in your 3 second stun. Stop all damage after three seconds(2 attacks). Good luck, I await your videos!
  18. I for one find that OPs/Scoundrels do in fact need some sort of nerf. Where and how have already been decided by the devs, and while I do not agree with them, I am not in a place to overwrite their decisions. Simply put we do too much damage in a short amount of time...im okay with admitting that. I ask only that people take an honest look at our out of stealth combat abilities and admit that we are subpar in that area. Lacking mobility, gap closers, knockbacks, heavy armor, and sustained damage create the need for a class that can get in and out of comabt quickly and dispatch key targets quickly. I am ok with seeing a nerf to the length of our opening stun. I would hope however that bioware adjusts the amount of resolve that it creates. I dont think 1.5 secs is the proper amount of time that it should stun a player, given several other abilities in the game stun you for similar amounts of time. I would much rather see our opener reduced to a 2 second stun to allow for some sort of wiggle room given how jumpy the game is in pvp. I dont know how many times I have opened on someone just to see them 3 ft behind me on the ground, or to see them "getting up" 5-10 ft in front of me... I would be excited to see our opener generate half a resolve bar, and im sure that given the length of 1.5 seconds we could agree that half a resolve bar seems reasonable. If this is the case we could actually use our second stun in a more tacticle and offensive way instead of using it defensively as a getaway or as a stun for when we simply cannot get out of combat and back into stealth. (which by the way needs to be looked at) I think the armor pen reduction is silly given the fact that the heavy armor users have so much utility with knockbacks, heals, and grapples. Someone needs to be able to stand up to them besides casters. Any class, given equal gearing should be able to take on another class. I dont know how many times I as an Operative opened on someone just to have them "trinket" my stun and work me. Now im not saying I cant defend myself...they dont come out unscathed by any stretch of the imagination, but im not really a threat as much as an annoyance. I have seen the videos of ops/scoundrels destroying people...at this point I expect anyone that pvp's a little more than casually have seen it as well. Most of those videos had consumable stacking, which has since been fixed. I ask you as a player to take an honest look at how "fast" you claim to be dying. In my whole time playing, I have not once killed a player in my 3 second stun naturally. I have always had some sort of input from my team, relics, red buff, or adrenals. I do think we need to reduce our burst, but not without some sort of compensation to our survivability, sustained dps, mobility, or our ability to close gaps. You have to give some to take some. Otherwise you are neutering the class.

  20. Something really needs to be done. I can overlook 25-30 min queues for a short time, although they never went away unless you rushed home from work to log in before 5-6 pm. I am now waiting in queue. I joined at 11:15pm(central), i was 1104 in queue staring at 1hr10min wait time. This is simply unacceptable. I am aware, that we have been asked to roll on another server. Simple fact is my guild and friends were automatically set to this server for early access. Most have leveled and progressed far enough that they will not create a new character on another server. Some hit 50 on the 20th...others have leveled their professions to max. Do something so I can play with my friends.
  21. Trigger words like kid are a setup for a response that lacks intelligence. This requires 2 points in their talent tree which are very high tier, so this suggests that the operative is high level as well as being specced into a tree that is known for its high damage opener followed by a laughable barrage of weak attacks (everything is now on cooldown). Why would you use your incapacitate breaker on a throw down? Anybody that has pvp'd at any "respectable level" wold have realized by now that you cannot get out of a throwdown with Unbreakable Will... Glad we can all recognize the difference between OPs having strong openers that ignore armor(talents), and a "geared tank" that can kill everyone by his own admission. As a tank do you think you should destroy other classes who's sole purpose is to dps? Lastly, i would suggest to get more EXP(i know you said you have 300). Run with a healer that is not brain dead(they have ways of cc'ing threats till you can get up). Play smarter, using defensive cooldowns when you get knocked down. Expect to be welcomed back to being a mortal every now and then by a person that just straight outplays you while you make silly mistakes.
