Hi, as the title suggests I'm looking for a Rep guild mainly that actively participates in the current DvL events when they are up if there are any known to you? I'm a returning player and decided to play rep as a change of pace. Any suggestions or recommendations are appreciated thanks.

Hey, I've done a search of old posts and couldn't really find one with an answer to suit my question. I'm looking at getting a second monitor with the idea that I could run the game on one screen whilst the second has the map open and is usable in real time or I can use it to open the inventory or character sheet etc. I'm sure I saw a friend of mine do this at one point but can't find a solid answer. So I've had a look for any YouTube uploads or forum posts elsewhere but can't seem to find any information about how any previously romanced companions have reacted when they've returned and found you have a new flame for e.g Lana, Theron or Koth etc. Anyone here had this experience? I'm more interested as to how vette would respond if I'd then romanced Lana because other than the scenes where they return, BW hasn't seemed to add any further romance options or dialogue to make me wait for them, it's more interesting to start a new romance with Lana for e.g who throughout the story has quite a few moments of interaction.

So very simply I've been playing quite a bit of lethality Op and just wanted your thoughts on why this spec in PvE is so unpopular when according to the 24 Optimal Stats thread, it ranks no.7 in Dps and only 100dps behind a Madness Sorc for example. Is it just personal preference that folk would prefer to play a veng jugg, deception Sin or even a MM sniper which has a slightly lower output or is there something game breaking when trying to raid with this spec? I'm not thinking of tackling NiM ops but SM and HM definitely. Thanks.

Hi I just had a quick question about conquests. Are they faction specific, like do the rep guilds only get ranked against rep guilds and imp vs imp or is it ranked by all the guilds on the server for an overal winner in a week? Tried to find the answer elsewhere by nothing really gives me a definite answer, Thanks.

Ok no worries guys thanks. and in response to this I'm talking like 86 crystals on these characters if that so 200k for 3 isotopes is a bit redundant when they are cheaper on GTN, but thanks anyway.

Me again, sorry another quick question. Just wondered if there are any vendors on fleet or another planet easy to get to that'll let you spend glowing crystals on stuff other than gear, ideally exotic isotope. I know there's the vendor on odessan but I don't want to grind the first few hours of gameplay in each character I no longer play in order to spend them and I don't want to spend 200k on the quick travel unlock to odessan either. Just had a quick question, I bought an armour set off the CM and it has a bind timer of 2 days 11hours or something. Does this timer mean just 2 days or actualy 2 days worth of game time? Normally when a new pack comes out you'll see the stuff on the GTN 2 days later so I'm assuming it's real time and not game time but just wanted to double check if folk knew? Thanks.

Im quite interested to know which guild is no more on TRE if you don't mind me asking? I switched to TRE from Tofn about 6 months ago when the server numbers seemed to dwindle and found the PvP much better to begin with. Pops are constant and I would say rep and imp are fairly balanced. Still haven't come across an outstanding guild that runs regular groups, maybe I'm not on at the best times I don't know, but the PvP overall is ok. Came back to tofn 2 nights ago and have not enjoyed the experience at all, regs are awful. Far more pve geared folk running in wzs than TRE and folk who seem to have no idea about tactics, not breaking a cc etc etc. I'm still to try ranked which is what I've come back for because like you say it's non existent on TRE but if that's still full of trolls, win traders and folk being afk then I'm heading back to TRE no question.

So it's time to sort a hilt out for my MH but I just had a quick question about if there is a difference anymore with a Resolve Hilt, Might Hilt or Versatile Hilt etc. Since might used to give a strength stat and therefore was a Warrior only hilt and Resolve gave a willpower stat and so was Inquisitor hilt etc it was clear which to take. I know all stats are now mastery and endurance, so does it matter which I take as a Madness Sorc or should I still take the Resolve Hilt?

Basically wanted to know if I change my characters name, am I removed from the friends list of those people who at the moment have me added to their friends list? Thanks.

So I'm looking to finish my 216 gear set and I'm not sure what to take earpiece and implant wise? Stats I'm aiming for are from a popular post and are as follows: 6180 DPS @ 40 APM | 5902 Endurance | 4969 Mastery | 2639 Power 1110 Critical (1xE, 12xA, 2xC) | 833 Alacrity (5xE, 1xA) | 681 Accuracy (4xE, 1xA) No mention of which earpiece or implants to take and also not sure what the abbreviation 'C' means either? For e.g. In critical it says 2xC? Also BiS augments for my implants and earpieces, I know in my PvP set I'm got a 1 of Alac and 2 crit ones so any help there would also be helpful. Final bit of advice I'm looking for is where could I source a hilt from? Gtn sell 190 rated atm and I'm only running SF and weekly heroics but I may take my PvE'ing further into ops etc, Would using a 208 PvP hilt be just as good starting out than a 190 PvE hilt? not sure how expertise factors into things when you try PvE with it. Hope this all makes sense and thanks for reading.

Out of the two if your just levelling just now I'd recommend madness, it's a fairly short and simple rotation and dot spreads make mobs quicker to deal with. I wouldn't worry so much about healing you or your companion as with 4.0 your companions can handle any solo or H2 content with ease.

As said above crit/ alacrity is personal preference. Having tried both I've had more success with higher crit than alacrity. Hey, not 100% on this but I did see folk talking about this in game the other night and I think BW may have removed it recently and it is no longer obtainable. Again not 100% sure but looking back at other posts about this quest it has also had various other bug problems in the past, not being able to complete it or get the weapon reward. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, maybe someone else can confirm if it's been removed or not. I have noticed higher up quests don't give the same rewards anymore in terms of gear and instead just offer basic crystals instead.

No they will stack and tick seperate from each other. Only way they get 'overwritten' is when you reapply the dot.

Well I wouldn't choose Corruption as that is a healing spec if you don't want to be the 'support guy'. I wouldnt say one was better than the other, both I feel are viable in PvP right now so it comes down to what play style fits you best that you enjoy. I would suggest giving both specs a decent go of and decide for yourself which you enjoy the most. Lightning has more burst, mobility and in longer fights better force management but if you come up against more than one healer in the enemy team you are really gonna struggle to do much about it unless your teammates have great focus. Madness is slower to build up its 'burst' but gives you a handy extra root and can really wear healers down with its dot spreads as apposed to lightning a single target dps. Folk argue that madness has greater survivabilty because of the Force Leach self heal but Lightning now has a 9% damage reduction so really they are pretty close to each other I find.

Hey,, thought I'd give this thread an update and to thank you all for your recommendations. Built my rig Tuesday just gone and wow what a difference. Can't believe I played on my laptop for so long lol. I'm now getting 100-101 fps everywhere I've been and seamless PvP with a steady 30-40fps and this is on ultra. Unreal compared to what I've been used to the past few years. In all my build went quite a bit over budget just short of £900 in the end but it was well worth it so thanks to all who spent the time to give me advice, if anyone wants to know what I went with I'm happy to list it in another reply. But yeah thanks again, I doubt you'll see me on here for a long time complaining of any machine issues lol.

Quick question, I am considering buying a 2 year old gaming laptop cheap and these are the specs: Intel Core i7 quad 2.2ghz 3.1ghz turbo Nvidia 560m 2gb Graphics 16gb ddr3 Ram 120gb OZ agility 3 ssd 750gb HDD 15.6 Led display Windows 10 o.s. I only play Swtor, will this run the game well fps wise in war zones on say high graphics settings? Currently my 7year old laptop is goosed and gives me like 6-7 fps in a war zone so I'm in desperate need of an upgrade.

May seem a daft question but has BW said they are looking into it? And I'm still curious as to what the majority of folk are using/ would recommend, lightning or madness for heroic and star fortress runs?

Yeap I understand where or how to obtain them, what I would like to know is the names of the preferred hilts, mods and enhancement you guys go for? There's alota choice when it comes to the mods and enhancements. Is it as simple as buying a focus from vendor, using those mods and enhancements and then buying a hilt on gtn? Or should the mods and enhancements in my mainhaind be different from my offhand?

There's the option of advanced force weilder or resolve hilts, which is the preferred? Will extracting sent offhand work cause is the hilt not bound to offhand slot only and can't be used in a mainhaind slot? The same as an armour mod from bracers won't fit into a chest piece for example? I could be wrong which is why I'm asking 😀
