  1. Actually, there are neutral relics in the game, but they are the high-end pvp and pve relics... So yeah, there are neutral trinkets, but mostly for the end game.
  2. ^ Already in 1.1.1? Sweet! Can't wait :3 Ty for the info :>
  3. Critical and surge is what you want. You have a talent which boost the critical healing done by many of your abilities and you can achieve ludicrous crit chances with Coordination. I'm pretty sure that my KInf has over 50% chance to crit with the four set bonus and it heals for over 4k. Surge just goes well with crit. Power is useful, adding to the raw healing power but not as useful as crit and surge, for reasons mentioned. Alacrity is the worst of the bunch, because we cannot cast heals super duper fast or we risk you energy regen dropping. And if your energy is below 40, you are in trouble. Alacrity does have its uses tho, since we do not have a powerful instant heal, those tenths of seconds can save your tank's life, and get the raid through major damage if you have adrenaline probe available. So, that's that. The "Healing" section in the class forums has some awesome guides to healing as an operative and healing in general, so check em out :3
  4. So, I've been raiding and doing HMs with my guild and I've noticed: From time to time Kolto Injections and Probes refuse to cast. Usually this happens as I try to cast KI or KS, the animation is played and the castbar is shown, but nothing happens. And the animation for KI actually fails to finish, with my operative standing still with arm extended. This used to not bother me as it happened mostly during after pulls, but today my tank died because of KI didn't seem to feel like casting. So before I file a bug report I'd like to ask whether other OP healers have had the same issue.
  5. That is all. ^w^ >.> <.< Wait, what do you mean "Nobody gives a damn whether you subbed or unsubbed?" But I... but I thought it was the thing you do on forums these days...
  6. It... is..? >.> <.< That's embarrassing o.o; Let's pretend I said no such thing Dmg reduction and the utility talents, most likely. I just never feel that using DS is anything more than a waste.
  7. Firstly, put Probes on the tank before he pulls. They heal a LOT if you remember to refresh when they are almost up. Secondly is no need to use Stim Boost at the start of an encounter. It has quite a long CD so it's better used when damage gets high. And lastly, you will ditch Kolto Infusion for surgical probe when you get the talents for it. Kolto infusion is too weak, costs too much and not fast enough to warrant it's use over Surg. Probe. For the record, my rotation is: Kolto Probe x 2 (tank) -> Kolto Injection (tank) -> Surgical Probe (tank or a dps taking damage) -> Kolto injection (tank again) -> Surgical Probe (tank or dps again, whichever takes more damage) -> half a second to regain energy, -> refresh Kolto Probe on tank -> repeat. The Kolto Injection + instant Surgical probe heals a lot and is very energy efficient. Stim Boost and Adrenaline Probe used when something goes wrong. EDIT: As stated in an earlier post, healing is very situational, so there are no real "rotations" per se, but the above is the pattern I fall into most often during bosses. The main thing is just to keep Kolto probe up and never to run out of energy. I've healed up till "The Foundry" and I can't say I have ever used diagnostic scan to a great degree. In most boss fights the damage is too intense to waste on DS and most packs are too weak for you to need to replenish your energy. If you are clever with your Ad. Probe and Stim Boost you won't need to spec diagnostic scan. YES! Absolutely yes! it's mostly thankless job, but you know when you have made a difference when you healed the ball carrier though focus fire or kept the defenders alive in VS. What you lack in damage you will make up in supporting those who can, and you are tem times more useful as a healer than a dps. Though it's pretty bad before you get Surgical probe for almost unlimited heals. I roll pvp with a small group of guildies and we rock Huttball I can feel the rage welling up inside the enemy's avatar when he just can't kill my mate carrying the ball over the goal line. You won't get a lot of medals, usually the 3 healing ones, but winning a match is much more rewarding than those... things. Anyway, I hope that helped you :3333 <3<3<3<3<3<3<3
  8. In WZs I support my guildmates with healing, and I have to say: A single healer against the enemy's no-healer force wins the game majority of the time. As a healer you can duoble or triple the value of DPSes just by keeping them alive. 1heal + 1dps > 2dps every time. Well unless the 2dps are really good and they are a sage and a trooper nadpä safapohpahfpagd. What I meant to say is: Healing your mates in warzones is both fun and effective.
  9. A question! When do you get Kaliyo's first companion quest? I'm lvl 39 and haven't gotten it yet. I think I just need more affection with her, but I'm not sure.
  10. I will not spoil what will happen in the future, but to answer your question: Yes, he will keep his word and mail you some really interesting info about the Intelligence and Watcher 2. Kaliyo as well, but that's not really the meat of the messages.
  11. it's too harsh to say that we are punished of being healers in WZs, but rather that we are not encouraged to be healers. I'd like to see medals like: Savior - Heal an ally from <10% to >50% Guardian angel - Heal a single ally for over 30k and neither of you die. Multitasker - Heal two allies for over 30k and none of you die. The Backup - Assist in 15 kills (have effectively healed the killer in the last 10 seconds before making a killing blow) Power Coupling - Assist an ally killing 15 enemies when she is guarding you. EDIT: Triage - Dispel 30 negative effects on players in the first 3 seconds of affecting an ally.
  12. 1. No, unfortunately. But remember that stealth is your greatest tool. You can pick your fights in a way only stealth classes can. 2. If by "soloing" you mean with your companion you get at around lvl 8, then the answer is yes. The companion is a tank and you can heal. There is almost nothing you cannot solo. 3. The story in the beginning in amazing, it draws you right in. But if you mean combat, then the answer is "yes" with a big mehhh. The OP does crazy damage even in the beginning, but we seriously lack AoE skills until carbine burst. So taking down large packs of mobs can be quite a hassle.
  13. It's funny how different people can have such a different opinion on a same subject I absolutely love the animations for all the knife attacks 3<<3<3<3 I love how the knife sticks out of your enemy's chest when you shiv them. I love the meaty and satisfying "slish" when you stab someone. I love how you smack your target with your rifle-butt when collateral damage procs. I love how every skill you use has a different animation (This is extremely useful in pvp. I know which of the different strikes I use just by looking at them.) I love chasing Jedi while spamming overload shot. I love taking on Jedi on equal terms in close combat! I love being an operative!
  14. When I was tasked to find the Cyclone mod clinic by Watcher X, he suggested that I take some debilitating poison so I would be able to pretend a Cyclone buyer. I considered my options carefully: 1. I could take the poison and risk permanently debilitating my character. 2. Or I could risk the mission. My agent wouldn't let the mission fail because of his cowardice, so he took the possibly lethal injection. Now, being an Operative, I could easily avoid any mobs on my way to the objectives. I got the cyclone sample from the dead Ewokii and everything seemed to be OK. However... I can't tell if the poison is still affecting my character or not, because I didn't engage any mobs at the time! How can I be sure it didn't have lasting reprocussions?
