So currently I have been playing a Jedi Sentinel and have jioned the que for the group finder as soon as I log on. The problem is that it has only worked 2 out of 10 times for me. I still que up hoping that I will get a group together, but it is to no avail. Is anyone using the group finder? Can I not get a group together because I am in the que for DPS? I just think that if more people simply entered the que; people would not be spamming general chat once again. I thought that the group finder was supposed to put an end to the endless "LFG Rakghoul Release". Also correct me if I am wrong, but the group finder is not just for flashpoints. It also works for Heroics,right? I just really want to play the group missions,but I keep asking people if they use the que and not many people are.

I'm not talking about companions. I am talking about adding AI(Bots) to fill out a group in addition to the companion that you already have. E.g. : I want to play a four person heroic in which I play my character, with my companion. There are two open spots, which would be AI controlled bots to fill out the group. Then I still get to play the mission without having to wait forever .

I was talking to my friend the other day about playing other MMOs and I said that many times we needed one more player for group missions in TOR. I said I would love for there to be AI (bots) to fill in the spaces in the groups I need. I also wouldn't mind queing up solo and playing with a full party of OPs. Before everyone tells me " Its a social game", "Bots wouldn't be able to function correctly" or whatever, I understand these concerns. I often don't have the time to spend hours with my guild or wait for groups , and even with the group finder I wait a couple hours.Often times we then have mismatched role placement, i.e. DPS in the Tank role. It is difficult to play the group content when have my time is spent waiting for groups to form up.I may be the only one with this thought? I don't know. I just figure that since I pay for this game just as much as anyone else I should be able to expierence the content just as much as the hardcore, 5 lvl 50, guildmaster players. So would AI(Bots) help? Would or should it work?Any thoughts?

I totally agree with you. There needs to be a good cross server lfg tool.

What you suggest would also be a good way to get groups together.The idea is less time searching and more time playing.The big reason I brought up cross-server is that I have friends on other servers. I also thought opening it up to more servers would allow the matchmaking to draw from a larger pool or players. I think they have had this issue brought up to them a number of times, but I figure the more people that talk about it the more it they will be inclined to change it.

I have really been enjoying this game, but I have a suggestion that I think would make grouping a lot easier. I know this has been discussed many times, but I figured I would give my opinion. I look at my mission list and I see Heroic 2 +,Heroic 4 ,Flashpoint all of them unfinished and waiting for me to get a group to complete them. Well it’s not for lack of searching or want concerning finding a group.For whatever reason I can't seem to get a group to tackle many of the missions that require more than just myself. I know I'm not alone in this, many people have complained that they could not get a group together to complete even some Heroics , let alone a Flashpoint. Well I propose a solution: institute a grouping tool/LFG tool that would work the way queuing for PVP works. When you want to play a mission with a group you queue yourself for heroic, flashpoint or operations. You could even find a way to group for tackling world bosses. Ideally this would work cross-server. The tool could wrap your characters to the beginning of the group mission or it could merely find a group and put you in it; which you would then have to travel there. Everything else would work the same as it does now. I know the standard response would be, " join a guild or just type LFG in general chat". Well I am in guild and most of my guild mates are lvls that are far below or above mine. In regards to the typing LFG in general chat, I don’t like it. It doesn’t make the game a better "social experience" for me, as BW would like to proclaim it does. What typing LFG does is spam the chat and frustrate me as I spend an hour looking for a group to take on a Heroic or Flashpoint. I find that once I am in a group I add more friends. So here is what I want : Cross-server grouping. Queuing like PVP for a group. No chat LFG spamming.At the very least some way in which I could get a group together without wasting time. All in all this game is awesome. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Would it work ? Is anyone else having this issue or is it only me?

Is there an LFG tool coming ? Will it work cross-server? Also if an LFG tool is added can it be made to included grouping up for Heroics, Flashpoints , Operations and World Bosses?

After reading countless form posts about what people like/dislike, I have decided to give my general impression of this game and a few things that would make my amazing expierence better. I will start this disposition with a disclaimer : I enjoy Mass Effect and the KOTOR series, I was never big into MMOs and found this to be the first that I have ever enjoyed enough to pay for. The superb story telling and exciting battles( yes the are similar to WOW, which I have played) have occupied my time. I often have felt that I am truly immersed in the Star Wars universe( which did not happen in SWG), but I sometimes feel that I am not able to truly enjoy a game in which my $150 CE helped pay for and to which my subscription maintains. That being said I think the game is very fun, has plenty of content(not that I don't want more) and generally sucks me in for hours. What I do hope to see implemented very soon would be the resolution of issues that would take the game to a new lvl for me. I understand many form posts have been created about these topics but I felt I should voice my concern. I also understand that the game is a work in progress and changes take time. I think my biggest complaint is the fact that there is no LFG/LFFP tool. I understand community concerns and all of that , but I would like to point out that many of the most popular games have a similar function. I have 5 heroic quests on Nar Shaddaa that I can't find anyone to jion a group with. I get tired of spamming the general chat typing : LFG _____ heroic. It also took me many sessions of playing to finally get a group for a FP I wanted to play(Over a week of searching). Which to most of your replies will be well then get your friends to play. Well my friends do play , they are just on different servers. I would really like to be able to transfer my lvl 35 Trooper to my friends server, but I can't. I know many will say " Just reroll an alt or make a new character" I don't have the time, nor do I desire to do this. Another thing that would make this game much more enjoyable would be the ability to change the look of my trooper. Right now he is wearing mismatched armor pieces that look like a 5 yr old colored on some republic trooper armor with markers and then asked me to wear it. Being that it was a much better armor rating, I have to wear it. I understand alot of this has been discussed before, and many of these questions were tackled by the Q&A session that just happened, but I wanted to give my two cents. Oh and all of you who have said that Taris was boring, I thought that it was great to be able to play on Taris again, after seeing it in KOTOR.
