Agreed, it's pretty idiotic to give us this ability and the only way we can use it is by gimping ourselves pretty hard, i would love to be able to use an electrostaff effectively

Just learned that Jedi knights can use vibroswords just fine... we can't use an electrostaff just because?

I'm sure you're right, i just don't know why they would care, and i'd really like to be able to effectively use one.

So recently, i have been intrigued by the idea of being able to use an Electrostaff as a shadow tank, but there hadn't been any available that could have mods put in them. Well, i found one and then i started checking my abilities and saw that *ALL* of our stances, and many of our major abilities require a double-ended lightsaber (even some that don't specifically state it grey out when you don't have one equipped). Before i get a response from a mod saying that it is working as intended, i know. I've read the abilities and i know. What i'm trying to find out is, why are we given this proficiency at all if there is no way to implement it without losing half of our abilities, and if there are any future plans to remove these restrictions.

Just two manned it at level 48, Jedi Shadow tank, Smuggler Scoundrel healer, two healing companions, park the companions under the panel that will be behind the boss, healer tuck in there too, have healer interrupt the smash (like a boss), and line of sight the burst, destroy panels, kill droids, and then hit him forever and a day. Took a while, but if the smash gets interrupted this fight is no problem.

Not sure what is difficult about this fight, Vanguard tank, Commando healer, Jedi Sentinel and a companion... we just killed them, sith warrior first, then inquisitor, then it doesn't matter, this fight is not hard. I've even two manned it at 23 with a Vanguard tank and a Commando healer, again, same kill order as above, Jorgen companion and one of us forgot to summon our companion, the fight is cake
