Knocking out armor tech. Is it worth Crafting and REing items vs doing HMs and getting the loot that drops out of them?

This is too funny. Yes....Slinger DPS is F- in WZ's, comming from a SS point of view. I have been thinking that for a while now. Heres whats I find funny about this thread. I have been spending the last few moments looking at the Impuisitor and Consular threads to see about their DPS issues. They have none. They are complaining about lame companions and bad story lines. Just back onto the slinger fourms and i get to read about "WTH? I blow CDs all teh time and still get ROFLSTOMPED" We are a class with just about no survivability. Lack of heals hurt. Have to be immobile for channeled and casting time attacks screws us. I have been looking into this to see if I am doing something wrong with my PvP style. I am still working on my BM set, so that part of the issue. We cant kite. Their are to many CC/slows in the game to do this. Not to mention that 1/2 the enemy team are Inq's. DoTs need an instant tick and not the 3 sec timer. Our burst damage is negated by 1/3+ geared BM players. We have to use all of our attack. The OP classes just spam 3-4 what evers and rack up the damage. No heals. Trying the get the bio Chem med pack to solve that, but they are still on a 90 sec CD. I have tried hybrid build to get more mobile DPS, but kept comming back to a SS/Sab build that does alright Now I just jump on to knock out my PvP dailys. Still crossing my finger and waiting for some good chainges. its was a fun class to play and the story line was great. It jsut need to be fixed in PvP

Lol....that was a rant. Feel better big guy? You do have a point with some. I hate spamming "inc west 2....inc west 3. help west" over and over. You want D, then play D. it know it makes you look like a nub at the end of a game, but problem solved. you dont want to have to deal with dumb players? Get a premade going. thats solves it

I do agree....cover system sucks for PVP. Hey, you shotting at me. Well....let me take a knee before I can bust out the good moves. The best is when you use take cover and then combat roll into a group of sith. gotta love that

ALright.....tried 4 diffrent specs. Some were hybrids ect ect. Been trying to get the basics of PvP down. 10-49, I did pretty good. Now at 50 I am constentally dead. I have three armor items and both purp weapons. SS has been the best do far due better DPS and living longer, but I am still getting crushed 1v1. And thats the good news. Bad new is it seems like I am going against the same 5+ man BM crew in all the WZ. most of them are sith sorc's. The game I just finished had 6 sorcs and 2 others. Kite doesnt work because I am CCed/slowed all the time. Pulse det hits only about 20%. This is going to sound stupid, but the only time I am really solid in WZ are when other players are ignoring me. Still, due to gear issues, my attacks are "blah" at best. 90% of the time I find my self at the bottom of the score boards, where as pre 50 I was consistantly in the top 5.

You mean we can't three button spam like other classes???? Hes right. I use everything. Keep your distance from all melee. I cant stress this enough. Its sound stupid, but I get pretty focused trying to burn someone and end up getting rolled by a glow sticker. Also....1v1, burn all damage reducing CDs at the start. Get some med packs. Pray to god

ALmost 50 and I am getting capped on Merc and WZ comms. Already bought one purple bag. Already have the Gladiator rank. Question is after I cap, is it pointless to WZ (other then to get higher ranks) till I hit the big 5-0? Or should I stay in the dub-z's working on ranks?
