  1. Ya know what's interesting? This game isn't SWG. I know. I was shocked too. The only thing the two games have in common is that they are both set in the Star Wars Universe. That's it. SWTOR is a completely different style of MMO. (ie: modern) We're all very sorry your game is gone. We truly are, but there's a reason for that. Those "old school", pre-WoW style MMOs just aren't profitable anymore. It's just the evolution of the genre. MMOs now are about linear questing, relatively easy content, frequent rewards and solo friendly play. Most people don't want/have time to grind mindlessly for hours on end, spend 30min running to our destinations, decorate houses, or emote endlessly at people in a Cantina. Get with the times or shut up already. "In my day we had to actually go out and buy our music on records. You spoiled kids just click a button now and there it is. Spoiled lazy brats, the lot of you" "Shut the f up Grandma!!" Stop bashing SWTOR for not being the game you miss. It's inane, meaningless and it's getting damn annoying.
  2. I'm a new dad. My daughter was born about a month ago so naturally, my wife and I aren't on any sort of set schedule when it comes to our free time. At best I can grab an hour or so a night to play. A LFD tool would allow me to run Flashpoints during my limited play time. I would much rather queue up, continue what I was doing and be guaranteed a group that night, instead of spending who knows how long standing in Fleet, screaming for a group that may never form. As it stands right now, I can't do Flashpoints. It's just a waste of time to try to find a group when my time is so limited. It's a shame too as I'm really enjoying the game and would love to experience that content as well. To those people who feel I don't "deserve" to see this content because I don't have the time to devote, go F' yourselves. I'm paying $15 bucks a month just like you. Bioware spent/will spend thousands if not millions of $$ to develop this content and there should be a way for the vast majority of players to take part in it.
  3. Understood. Guess I'll try to be more Neutral in my choices and become a true Revanite. Thanks.
  4. I have a level 12 Sith Juggernaut that I've been going Lightside (mostly) with. Does that mean once I hit a certain Light level I will no longer be able to use red lightsaber crystals? To me, red lightsabers are an iconic part of being Sith and even though I'm going Lightside, I'd still like to have that iconic look.
  5. A few points... -Most players are casual and have limited play time. Spending hours screaming in fleet for a group that may not form is not most people's idea of a $15 monthly fee well spent. -Moving forward, BW will be spending a large portion of it's resources on max level instanced content. It's stupid for them to be spending all this time and money on content without giving the majority of their players a convenient way to experience it. -Easy access to dungeons (and the gear within) gives players more reasons to level multiple characters. -Just because WoW has it, doesn't mean it's evil. Mindless hatred is mindless.
  6. Comparing Star Wars to Warhammer 40k is much too broad. Both universes encompass so much that you can't just have a blanket match up. We can however compare similar themes and have fun thinking how a confrontation would go. Examples: Galactic Empire vs. The Imperium of Man A Jedi vs. A Space Marine Librarian The Yuuzhan Vong vs. The Tyranids
  7. Just a bit of confusion on my part. Can you only change the lightsaber color on moddable lightsabers or can any lightsaber blade color be changed? Thanks.
