  1. eh, I would. maybe not so much the DA series... but yeah, people are making a bigger deal of this launch than it really is.
  2. guys guys... listen, this is just the initial rush. what's going to happen is that over the next few weeks and beyond, people will not be trying to leap on all at once... I mean, at some point you gotta go to work right? anyways, it's always like this with launches or expansions and such. so just give it another few weeks to settle down. just think what chaos would have happened if they didn't stagger invites! >)
  3. I'm sure it will all even out! give it like a few weeks and the initial floods of people will subside.
  4. like your sig btw! >) and uh... cartoonist! (you can check out my site below... got a new star wars comic up) but yeah... we art people aren't very known for punctuality so this is kinda what I get. XD
  5. hahahha! welcome to multiplayer healing! you'd be lucky to even have a good view of your feet while watching the little health bars move and playing wackamole with any that start going down. it's kind of a bleh mechanic, I know, but other than FPS, there's not a whole lot of room for innovation here.
  6. and a valuable lesson about punctuality was learned this day! >) but yeah... don't worry, I'm in the same boat. guildies didn't procrastinate until a week ago like I did. XD
  7. excellent suggestion! also, they have stated that they will be releasing AA options at some point after launch, just had other stuff to be doing, like bugs and whatnot.
  8. wait, so is this a QQ about QQers who QQ about QQing? I think I need a flowchart for this one...
  9. um... how old is your other one? I mean, it really "shouldn't" and it sounds like something you need to take up with your ISP. a lot of times they'll advertise "up to 5m speeds" or whatnot, but fail to provide that... I'd look around and get some quotes from the competitors and check out customer reviews. you can also do a google search for "internet speed test" and run the check; if it still falls short, you should be able to see a listing of providers in the area and what their average speeds are.
  10. by "humanoid" I'm assuming you mean human in size, shape, appearance... because that term usually covers anything resembling a human... like orcs, elves, dwarves, etc... that said, it would be interesting to play as some of the roboty types, like a droid or something. though, now that I think about it, the only mmo game that comes to mind that you can truly play a non-humanoid was Allods Online where you could play as some kind of weird fuzzball critter thing.
  11. good point! I did like that stuff from my wow days
  12. lol, brutal crowd in these parts! anyways, I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but yeah, there is a good bit of "kill x blanks for item y to get xp and a green"... BUT, I think what's different is the dialog choices when doing quests. it gives you a better impression that you are actually immersed and able to shape how the quests play out, even if in the end you're still killing 10 boars. from my experience in beta, questing was actually pretty fun and the gameplay didn't feel like it sided towards the boar grinding to level. speaking of... let me give a shout out to my beta review and "boar killing" star wars comic entry over at my site Coffin Comics!
  13. yeah, no thanks... I don't fancy losing my lunch. >P but seriously though, didn't know they even had an option for that! is it like the, what's it called, anaglyph(?) thing where you use the red/blue glasses? or that thing where it's all fancy and done through the screen?
