  1. The walk back just to the second boss after wiping is brutal. It's a good 3-4 minutes+ wasted after every wipe. Isn't there at least some sort of speeder that can be implemented at the start to bring down all the down time? With sprint on going non stop it currently takes 2 1/2 minutes from landing on Denova to get to the second boss's room. Add on a good 30 seconds + of loading screens, entering the instance, and taking the shuttle down, then making sure everyone gets there and buffed up really puts an annoyance on the wait times. At the very least have it so you can mount up in the cave.
  2. I know when we went in to EV HM tonight the turrets (which we always one shot) where destroying us to the point of the adds one shotting the healers.
  3. Our guild just started EV HM 8-man as normal. We go up to clear the turrets as we always do flawlessly each time with the same group. We rarely lose anyone on the turrets going on to do the boss. Yet this time as we go in we wipe over and over again and much more damage is coming out of the turrets then I ever remember. After finally downing them we go on and one shot the boss. Did they buff the damage from the turrets? They are much harder then I ever remember them being. Is anyone else experiencing difficulty with them?
  4. Customisable UI is coming in the patch in March, check the news page and there is a video featuring it. Macros haven't been stated when to come, but I hope in a later content patch. PVP and Bug fixes will come as they come. There isn't much they can do about faction balance, unless they incite people to move to the other side with freebee's, which would leave the people on the less balanced side left out.
  5. I'm not sure what your problem is in the first place.. All I saw was something about scoundrels and operations, and giving something but never receiving?
  6. So does everyone else posting here, putting everyone on equal ground. I think it is a very bad analogy putting WWII or w/e into this, but I see your point. With technology I doubt it will be US vs EU in battlegrounds together, but more like WoW where servers are paired together making queue times much shorter. It won't solve faction imbalance, but I have yet to understand how faction imbalance affects WZ's in the slightest. It isn't about faction imbalance if it is 10 vs 10, one side just sucks horribly.
  7. To me more content isn't as pressing a need. My top ones in descending order are: -Ability Delay -Duel Spec -Combat Log -Addons -Macros -Target of Target
  8. I have 54 hours played from Saturday, and I am only level 23. Definitely NOT too fast. AT ALL.
  9. And I completely read that wrong. Okay then, just spec your toon when you want to do something else. Keep a gear set. They do want to add duel spec later on though.
  10. You must not know when EU's peak hours are then. I have seen them at peak hours and over half of them are full, with the others being heavy.
  11. I am guessing this is your first MMO on release. Also, you only have to say it once, on the same page you have said the exact thing 3-4 times.
  12. Server transfers are fine, and that would fix the problem, but it would be the only good fix they have, and I wouldn't blame them for adding a price onto it. Just don't expect to see it soon. With it not being implemented into the game yet, it can't invalidate what I am saying though.
  13. There also aren't millions of people in the grocery store. Let me use this analogy - You are waiting in line at a grocery store, you could walk to another line, but that could take a minute. You decide to wait in the line you are in, despite there being a few people in front of you. The store could open more cash registers to make the lines shorter, but that would mean they would have to employ new people to man the registers. Once the lines have shortened down, the registers that where opened wouldn't be needed anymore, and the people manning them would be fired. Put that into what is happening now, near word for word - You are waiting in the queue, you could go to another server, but that would take a while and you would have to make a new character. You decide to wait in the queue you are in, despite the other servers having no queue. The game could open more servers, but that means they would have to buy new servers and manage them just like the others, and once the queues have gone away and populations have dwindled a bit, imbalance would come in. They would find themselves with too many servers to handle, and people would moan that their server is empty of population. tl;dr - Analogies are fun.
  14. It's not that there isn't many items to find in there, it's how you search for those items that is the problem.
  15. It is their own fault for not realizing this is an MMO game, just released, and of course it will have queues. If they don't want to wait in a queue they should go play a single player game.
  16. Of course queues aren't fun, but they aren't something like a bug or glitch. A queue is a line, and in a line people have to wait. You can't just cut someone in front of you at the grocery store, you have to wait just like all the other people in the queue.
  17. The person I was replying to used that example. What I am saying applies to all companies, and directly to Bioware, as we are on the forums for their game.
  18. If they add too many servers they will run into server imbalance later on down the road, and that is much MUCH worse then a few complaints over having to wait in line that will stop in a few weeks time.
  19. Exactly, it's like people have never seen a line before. People have to wait for everything, that is why patience is a virtue. With this particular thing there are only two options, wait for the queue, or wait a few weeks for there to be no more queues. The game just came out, everyone wants to play. In a few weeks people won't be playing all the time and will be level capped.
  20. I am not saying to ignore complaints, but just because something isn't being done immediately about the complaint or your complaint isn't addressed the way you like it doesn't mean Bioware isn't doing anything about it. People complain and complain, then when Bioware brings out some fix if they don't like it they complain some more, and if they do like it they completely forget how immature they acted while they complained and start playing it, only to start complaining when something different happens.
  21. This type of system is something they need to copy WoW for. WoW got it right, and it is so basic that if the GTN has the same interface it won't be copying, just good programming. I too felt very uncomfortable with the GTN, almost to the point of not even bothering putting up items to sell. I had to first find where it was through the categories, type in the name because I couldn't right click it to automatically enter the text, accidentally hit clear and do it all over again, then finally I get in to find the price I want to put my item at.
  22. And it is normally a bunch of customers all raging about different things flocking to the company with pointless anger that destroy the company, not the company itself.
  23. And I don't understand why people can play a companies game, yet hate the company. It seems on the forums people are either "fanbois" or "haters" or "people who are neither yet hate the company". Why can't there be just an average player who can actually side with a company because the company is actually right, or I feel sorry for them? It isn't always "the customer is always right".
  24. I am at a loss as to how this is even a problem. I guess some people have never played or don't even know what an MMO is. The game JUST CAME OUT, of COURSE there will be server queues. In MMO's I have played right when they came out or had an expansion I have seen queues ranging from thirty minutes to hours. If you don't like the queues, wait a few weeks for them to meddle down. At least we don't have server restarts and crashes alongside like other MMO's have had. It isn't Bioware's fault there are queues, people act like all the other numbers aren't also people waiting to get into the game. If they add more servers then later on they will run into the same problem WoW currently has, imbalanced, and sometimes near empty, servers. You could just say they could merge servers then but that would destroy Bioware at a PR standpoint. The only way Bioware could fix this is with server transfers, and don't be surprised if they are for money, which I wouldn't blame Bioware for in the slightest.
