  1. Sounds like you should have checked the prices prior to posting your wares. Also the gtn probably doesn't do very well on low pop servers. Personally on my server (po5), mats tend to do fairly well. Mats that are used for the more sought after items do especially well(implants/earpieces w/augments). When I cycled one of my characters through the professions I had a difficult time buying what I needed to level each one up. The low level stuff usually wasn't there. Starting as cybertech I cycled into armormech, artifice and finally into biochem. This was a few days ago. You claim prices are too cheap and mats are flooding the market. I only wish that were the case on my server. The rich exploiter comment really does get to me. I haven't exploited anything and sit on a healthy reserve of credits. I shouldn't be labeled by someone who hasn't put the same amount of time into the game as I have because of it. You want to make a good amount of credits fast? Get a useful profession and run ops to get good BoE schematics. Make those items and sell them. Want to make credits steadily? Run your dailies and sell the mods/enhaments that come with them.
  2. Funny, it seems like bragging. Espescially when he copies and pastes the same exact thing in another thread. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=292865&page=2 What makes it funny is the fact he does so after guilds have went 9/10 weeks ago. Maybe English isn't his primary language. /whocares Please let the hits keep coming.
  3. I congratulate you. You must be the only ones to have accomplished such a feat. /facepalm Quick everybody call the papers someone is 9/10 of the nightmare modes....lewlz I wasn't the one moaning and complaining just simply stating I would like one. Reading Is Fundamental
  4. I would like to one implemented. Having different gear sets to compare against certain bosses is useless without one. Also it would definitely be easier to manage agro/agro dump abilities. As far as moving and dps'ing, meters would quickly point out who is moving too much and how they can fixd it. Seriously, who doesn't want to improve themselves? You can sit there and bash the people who want one. The truth is, when you don't beat the enrage timer, people want to know who they are carrying (aka who can be replaced). You know it's coming and the time for ninja riding coattails is almost over.
  5. The map is stationary regardless of which direction you are facing. west=left & right=east. Sounds to me OP doesn't know left from right or how to read the map. Not someone I would want on my team. lewlz
  6. Sadly you don't get anything back for those. Pretty much your options are either vendor or store them in your portable banks (aka Companions).
  7. Having played several MMO's myself I have grown to learn to not directly compare games as a whole but their features. That being said companies should have someone on staff to evaluate little 'comforts' other games incorporate and try to reproduce it themselves. Does this mean that would make it an "X" clone? No. It would just mean that the developers see and recognize the need for things customers easily identify with which make their gaming experience that much more pleasant. Examples... There really needs to be a dedicated lfm/lfg ui. DDO has a really straight forward lfg/lfm ui where leaders can show what they are running, at what difficulty, what classes are needed and any other notes they want to add. Eligible people click once and the leader has the option to accept/decline the request. There needs to be movable/sizable ui interface. This is a standard feature in a lot of games. I'm really surprised how more people aren't annoyed by this. You'd be surprised how having this feature makes a great/terrible game that much more enjoyable/tolerable. BW needs to give players the abilitly to travel more expeditiously after hitting the cap. Earlier planets tend to be able to land upon where later ones require the extra 4 screens to get there. Reward your players by making simple things less tedious. I'm sure that by level 50 everyone's characters have big boy/ big girl pants on and don't need the intermediary steps required to touchdown planetside. Notes on players in the 'friends'/guild lists. Such a small feature allows you to notate who in guild can make what or even perhaps what hours they're more likely to be on. On the friends list folks could also notate crafters/suppliers should one not be found in guild. It also can be used to maintain whose alts are whose. --------------------------------------------------------------- I had a good chuckle from the person that said WoW raiding was easy. First off, it only makes sense to massively nerf raids just prior to new ones being released. It gives those with little or no chance of ever seeing that content on their own legs the ability to do so. Looking back, Blizzard did it every step of the way to generate interest in old content for the majority of players. They even went so far to eliminate the 'flagging' process to give access to these raids (ala SSC, Eye, BT, etc.) Secondly they forget to mention how after weeks of release a fraction (usually 1-2%) of the game population completes those raids prior to the nerf, even less, doing so consistently (farming).
  8. It does wonders when you dual box and have both accounts versus each other. Instant player disparity. Profit.
  9. I wasn't aware you can fully cap at level 30. Is that even possible? Maybe if they just up the exp gained from PVP it would never be an issue. Edit: misquoted
  10. I'm not sure if this hasn't already been mentioned (thread is tl;dr) but why not match folks up on valor level as opposed to character level? I'm not sure how easily implemented this is but it would appear to resolve the majority of the problem.

    Vote to kick

I hadn't come across this until yesterday. I had a person blatantly stealth and go afk in 2-3 WZ. Ironically the same person was advertising LFG for HM's and OP's. Gee, I womder why they have to pug?
  12. This. I have guildies that have the same frustrations as the OP. I try to hit the healers as mvp everytime as they basically allow us to reap the benefits of their efforts. I do agree though that there should be better compensation for those primarily focused on keeping folks alive.
  13. You do realize that expertise sacrifices points from another useful stat? How exactly is it better then? Also pvp tier set bonuses are just about useless in pve. Maybe because it's a pvp piece? Ever see the Merc 2 piece pve set bonus? I'm guessing no Also your comparison and final summation clearly form the complete picture for us:
  14. Ilum is just garbage as is. It'll take more than a kneejerk reaction to get it right. Having a capped character on both sides just makes me want to pound my head through a wall. It doesn't matter which side you're on as it's just as frustrating since the mechanic is crap. It truly doesn't matter what the population is. Such a shame. I really wanted this game to be what I thought it could be. In all honesty though I can't see myself paying for a subscription to KoTOR. Back to the tried and true. Maybe in a couple of months Bioware will come up with something better.
