You just have to pay attention. I'm playing a female toon, Jedi Consular, and the second companion is obviously the romance choice. He tries to flirt a lot (even though it doesn't say flirt) and you lose companion points anytime you are even remotely friendly to any other male NPC or other character. He is obviously the jealous type. It is funny as hell to me. Unfortunately he is a healer and I don't need him at all in my travels so he doesn't get much play. Reading through this thread and watching people complain about mouseover macros or respecing, is hilarious. This is what WoW has done to healing. I never EVER used healbot or mouseover macros and can and always have been able to heal just fine. Don't inject laziness for problems with the UI. This game brings back some of the skill required to heal before all the 1 click let some macro do everything for you BS. There may be a shortage of healers, but the ones you find not waiting for everything to be done for them, will be much better than the whiners. As far as the leveling. I have also found no problems with dps in a healing spec for questing. In fact I find this class to be quite OP. Force Quake + let companion hold agro = 4 pack dead in 2 casts. I chose the spiked mohawk look for my character. I am a Jedi Consular and when I wear a chestpiece with a hood all is well. But when I wear a regular helm, my hair sticks out through the top of it. This seems to me to be a major oversite for a game as polished as swtor. I am forced to hide the helm or have the wardrobe malfunction. Most of the time I want the mohawk showing anyway, but some of the helms are pretty decent looking. Anyone else notice this? Shizuru 31 Jedi Consular Sage Tarro Blood

At what level? I've run FPs with tanks that were 8 levels above and I didn't really have to heal at all. Run with a group where everyone is the level of the instance. I don't really care about the mailbox as they are at every single outpost, but I agree a quick travel bind point on the ship would make a lot of sense and cut down on this "tedious" travel. However, the fact that people have to complain about something like this just shows how well the game was built and designed. Less QQ pls.

I don't see any of the 3 being an "AOE" healer. With proper CC except on flashpoint bosses there is very little splash/group damage. Sage's AoE is level 31 talent that you can't get until 40 at the earliest. I don't know what endgame is going to look like, but a heal that costs 100 force is not going to be spammable. It will be an Oh Poop! button and will drain you of your ability to heal anything else if used very often. I also don't buy the scoundrel is better in longer fights scenario. If you spec properly, Sages are pretty efficient. I can stay pretty much full unless the whole group is taking damage and I have to spam heals constantly. This game is going to require coordination, CC, communication and otherwise not sucking for 4 man groups to pull off the more difficult content. Sad that people who don't know anything about the class are commenting. Level 20 as a healing spec you get rejuv and level 30 healing trance. If you are not spec'd for heals after about level 20 or so you can't solo heal a group in a flashpoint. You could offheal but then that would gimp the groups dps. You need a main healer, get someone who is spec'd as a healer. If you bring a consular in as a main healer, tell them first so they can tell you if they can perform the job. This argument is as ridiculous as the subject of the post. This isn't rift where you can have 17 different specs and change at the drop of a hat. You are what you are and it is expensive and time consuming to change specs just for a 45 minute flashpoint. On a side not, I have leveled 100% as a healer and while killing elites is slower, my survivability is at the top of the food chain. Shizuru 31 Jedi Consular Sage Tarro Blood
