Nope, I have 400 slicing and hung around Nar Shadda for about an hour last night gather lockboxes and never did I once get a box worth over 500 credits. Maybe this was the way of things in the past but not post nerf.

Hey just so you know , you can do slicing too.

You must have 1 or 2 things in your favor. You must be playing on a low population server where there are plenty of everything to go around making lockboxes plentiful OR/AND you play 24/7 unlike those of us that work full time jobs and have other real life responsibilites and can't devote more than 2-3 hours a day to a game.

Yes they seem to have nerfed the number of slicing terminals in the world and also their respawn time has been increased as well.

Thank you, and thats what I said with my post, they needed to nerf it by maybe 40-50% or so compared to what it was providing, therefore at the end of the day your more or less breaking even compared to having 50-100k more at the end of the day.

Bioware I'm disappointed in you, I can see from everything I've read here on the forums that you seem to give in to the initial "OMG SLICING IS ZOMG OVERPOWERED" people but now we have countless people coming on here talking about how they don't sell crafting materials anymore and how you nerfed slicing WAY too much and there isn't a peep out of you. From this experience I am only taught one thing, if I whine and whine enough in life and maybe throw a tantrum I will get what I want, but if someone brings valid evidence like the fact that the economy on all servers are WAY down and the fact that a 30 minute slicing mission averages a net profit of 50-200 credits (Rich) mission btw. You will sit on your hands and just let things play out. No, you've made a mistake with this nerf, sure nerf it but I think 30-50% nerf is more reasonable, this nerf makes mission running pointless and destroys the economy in a game that already requires you to spend tens of thousands just to get new skill after 30 and to pay for repair bills on a daily basis. Comes down to this, when I used slicing I bought stuff off the GTN now that slicing barely turns a profit I refuse to buy stuff off the GTN, I'm going to hoard my money and do my best to level my main crafting skill on my own. Slicing was giving the payouts to the GTN now you have gone and complained and gotten Nerfoware to nerf it and your GTN mats are going to sit there. You are not going to get even close to the same price you where selling things for before... Gathering professions better drop their prices down a ton or people won't buy them now. Slicing was keeping this economy afloat, now it is gone and the economy is next to fall.

Slicing solved! Turn slicing into a crafting skill and not a gathering skill. That way slicing is the only way to make money for the people who take it, put it back to near what it was im thinking 30-40% nerf and your done. Also They should nerf reusable medpacs, they should nerf the game, nerf the story, nerf your life, and nerf the universe cause its just too easy.

You could have taken slicing, your comment is worthless just like you. It is your choice to limit yourself for no other reason then your own ignorance, just as it is my choice to not limit myself. If slicing wasen't available to you, then you have every right to complain. However slicing was and still is freely available to you, its your own fault you didn't take it! Farm credits like the rest of us... LMAO I'm better then you, so why should I have to play on your level?

Ok, and I believe that whatever crew skills you're using SHOULD ONLY BE PROFITABLE IF YOUR PHYSICALLY GATHERING THE MATERIALS. Either way the Slicing missions are pointless they should remove the whole missioning systems completely so everyone will stop whining, I can't wait until I start hearing posts about how crew skill x makes gathering material x too easy or building component Y too simple. Either way the missions system is broke. And btw no level 1 compnent takes 4 ingredients unless its a rare or artifact don't try to pull wool over the eye's of people who don't use crafting skills. You should go find another game, like the rest of the people who want to nerf everything to oblivion... Go back to WoW!

Welcome to the reality of ignorance at its greatest! You can choose to do slicing... You choose not too, therefore you have no room to complain you can choose it its not like someone said you couldn't, Nope you need to grow up and live with your choices... oh wait you can drop a crew skill and pick up slicing... Its people like you that feel they need to tell everyone else how to live their lives and play their games... People like you should just go to hell already.

Last night I could reverse engineer the next schematic in 10 medpacs, today after the patch, I have now created over 60 specialized medpacs and have yet to get the next level schematic and I'm reverse engineering the schematic you buy from the vendor not the rare or artifact schematic. So you've taken my slicing and now you've made my crafting skill completely worthless. Thanks guys!

I'm not a fairy so I don't attempt to run and jump into the air in an attempt to fly away from the person I'm trying to kill. Kiting gets so boring after a while I would rather just run up and butt stroke the enemy every fight. Combat is smooth and fluid, there is nothing wrong here. If your talking about how you try to position your gun in the direction of the enemy when you run, congrats they are going for a realistic attempt at finding the enemy chasing you! You not liking something doesn't mean the community as a whole agrees with you, as you can see from this thread there are a couple who may agree and the majority think you should change the title to "I don't like the way kiting works!"

4+ Million people on one server is a bad idea, besides chat problems Imagine the issues with congestion, right now we have 100 or so people in each area, imagine 1000+ in each area it would be much larger im sure but the world just isn't big enough to support such a large player base on one server. Yes the technology exists however implementing it is a whole other ball game!
