  1. They will not let many go from the sports franchise games they have. FIFA, Madden and others sell way too many across all major platforms to lose a lot of money. I still think that EA are disappointed that the subs have not taken off as they hopped so far.
  2. WOW get a life your more obsessed than the OP.
  3. So they are letting people go from certain games and hire some for new games. So in effect SWTOR is losing some staff whilst new projects are taking people on.
  4. WHY? Why should a person who has got to level 50 and taken over a month to do so have to do it again. Sometimes i do wonder if Bioware have their oen people on forums. Instead of having thousands of people go on another server and start from scratch Bioware only needs to spend a bit of its resources into getting server merged to balance it out. People are not too lazy they will just go back to WOW or move onto Diablo 3 and GW2. So instead of callnig everyone else lazy its Bioware that's lazy and eventually lack of population will eventually become the downfall.
  5. Its not about playing a wow clone thats the issue many seem to be missing. Its about playing an MMO and the clues is in the title. Massively Multiplayer Online. Problem is for many people not all it does not feel like an MMO. WOW clone responses proves many do not understand some issues in the game as it does not affect them.
  6. I agree with your point re wow feels a bit old. Pandarian is a bit of a boost especially the detail on the panda monk but its no major upgrade graphically but its better. SWTOR has the potential to be a great MMO and 1 of the easiest fix is server merges asap. But for some reason Bioware seems to behave with a god type temperament and they are right and everyone else is wrong. Seems a common issue since the first 2 weeks we need server merges but nothing seems to be happening.
  7. Its not only the grouping up or raiding that makes this game feel like a single player its that you do not see anyone around for a long time. I am on Hidden Beks EU one of the higher populated server and some places its fairly bad. As you say WOW does blow this away as an MMO problem is as a single player this would have been a very good game but there is no real social interaction within the game which is real sad. Its time for server merges if they do not keep the subscribers they have now happy will cost them i the end. This is a very simple problem to sort out merge servers up until they are on high and close servers down until they are actually needed if subs increase etc.
  8. As well as Fanbois who will throw just as big a tantrum if anyone has a valid issue.
  9. Lets hope your boss does not catch you then.
  10. Maybe its not WOW. If you say SWTOR is more varied than WOW then how would you know you seem to be on here more than ingame by the looks of it.
  11. I agree with you. Though i still play both i do tend to play more on SWTOR as i have maxxed out my toon slots with 85's on my main server. And still raiding HC DS10. Both games are good and both games have flaws but i wish people would shut up and just play which ever they prefer. Personally i prefer WOW i still see SWTOR as a good game. Though i just wish D3 was out now. MMO's can suffer from similarity at times.
  12. But is that more to do with laziness on the part of WOW's competition. Instead of developing original ideas most games now are versions of clones. Its getting like the car industry most look and play the same. No real game of any originality has been developed for 10 years or more. Deus EX for me was the most innovative game though its copied its never been surpassed for gameplay.
  13. Thats why i asked the person if they had were on Beta. Obvious they are not as from what i have been told what new content that has been Beta tested is very good.
  14. Comparing this and WOW and launch is wrong on a few levels. Blizzard did not spend 10's of millions on launch. Neither did they have the technology we have now. Which lets be honest all computers are much faster and we have very fast broadband world wide. When WOW launched that was not the case. Played WOW since June 2006 and still play it. Once Diablo 3 is out i will cancel subscription to SWTOR not WOW as i get more out of WOW even today. Blizzard created a beast in WOW and generated an income that no MMO will ever do again in my opinion. As someone previously stated that WOW will got F2P by 2014 he/she might be right as from the grapevine Blizzard wants to launch their new MMO around that time. SWTOR will not kill WOW. Blizzard will.
