If you are having trouble with op dps in arenas then you sir, I´m afraid, are a bad player. If U cant focus down a dps with ZERO damage mitigation, you should probably stick to PVE or something.

2.6 did nothing for operative dps regarding viability in rateds. For those teams that cant shut down a concealment op, I am really sorry but it´s a LTP issue

If your team has trouble taking down a operative dps I feel really sorry for you....

You are right about that, when the op comes out of stealth a good team will finish him immediately. But the bads in regs will cry rivers of tears, rivers. "OMG we let this operative without damage mitigation abilities run around and kill us all!!!" He must be nerfed bad, like a full cavity search, don't stop till you reach the back of his teeth!!!

I think bioware should arrange tournaments, 4 v 4 arenas with premade teams. They should give out some nice prizes and rewards. Maybe cartel coins, subscription time or even money. Then do the final matches on twitch stream. This would create some excitement around pvp.

Could you do something like legacy, a meter for total valor. Many people have alts and a lot of valor on them. It would be fun with a total valor meter and some titles to go along with it.

As I said before, there will be no survivability buffs for 2.6, but what gave me a little bit of hope was they FINALLY acknowledged the issue. It took them a while and I don't buy the excuse for not doing it in 2.6. They could´ve just put the talents high in the trees.

Of course I was referring to what eric wrote in his post.... Do you actually believe that they have more buffs planned for the operative? If so and you can quote me on this: he would have said it in the mentioned post

If you think operative dps is in a good state or even medium state you sir are a noob. In rated the operative gets focused down immediately because it has no damage mitigation. It is hands down the worst AC in the game for rated arenas. Sadly a dps buff wont do **** for the spec, it will still be focused down immediately.

If they think a dps buff will make operative dps viable for arena they are sadly mistaken. We will still be focused down immediately with no damage mitigation at all. With stuns and slows we cant get away either. This buff just make me even more hopeless about the game. Who is in charge of these things and what has he or she done before? You cant make a meele class totally without some damage mitigation, unless you do it with transport abilities that breaks all stuns and snares. This buff will be fun for regular wz, it wont do **** for rated. Believe me, it will only make the other regstar players QQ their asses of so we get another nerf in the next patch.

Yeah, they´ve been busy for over a year regarding the operative dps (and other classes to)

2 months and not a word we can safe say that in this game the devs are NOT listening (for you who gets the reference)

It would actually make it easier for me if BW just came out and said: "Hey, listen, we don't have the resources to implement a lot of class changes and work heavily on PVP class balance. We will focus on PVE balance and our new space project." Then at least I would know under what conditions I play the game. Dps ops have been broken for over a year and still I hope that the next patch will fix it.

I can give you a way to feel that your mara is OP again. Roll a operative DPS and then roll back to your mara, you will feel like a god again, trust me. Nerf to mara should have happened years ago.
